Lida Hotel in Athens

Tacky but in a good way, words can't describe the atmosphere of the hotel but for the price, location and accessibility you can't go wrong with this hotel. Make sure you keep an open mind when booking this place, you won't regret it.

Like no place I’ve stayed before. Booked for location and price, I really just wanted somewhere to sleep the night, and for that it did the job. I asked a lot from reception being a foreign national and they were really helpful. Breakfast is a bargain. You get a lot for €5 and they bring it to your room. The different part is, which I probably could have figured from the pics, was it seemed to be aimed at amorous couples 18+ only (don’t bring the kids). Saw many couples come and go (excuse the pun) staying for just a few hours. Didn’t bother me particularly although did feel a bit lonely knowing everyone else had “company” 😞, and maybe a bit uncomfortable knowing what the many previous occupants had been up to in my room. Decent location though and bar/snacks reasonably priced. Major downside, the whole place does smell of a combination of cigarettes and perfume, which is not unusual Greece as smoking laws are a lot more relaxed than the UK, gave me a bit of a headache until I got used to it. This is a 2 star hotel, which is probably a bit harsh tbh, I’ve stayed in a lot of Hotels in Greece and there are some very bad ones, I’d say this is probably a 3 star. All in all, if your after somewhere to sleep or a discrete liaison, it’s quite, the beds are comfortable enough and staff are very helpful.

We stayed in Hotel Lida just for one night - on our way from the airport. Reception open 24/7. Check-out until 12:30 which is great. Late breakfest also possible. Friendly staff. Design of the hotel interesting - I would say erotic. The only things which could be improved: smell of cigatetts in the corridor and in the room (although we booked for non-smokers) & wall coverigs and carpets which absorb dust.

We have been staying at Lida hotel for three nights and everything was excellent. Very clean, quiet, comfortable, very kind staff. Of course you should love the kinky atmosfere but this is a plus in my book. When we arrived the kind receptionist let us choose between two rooms at the second floor and that's true that one was a bit smelling of smoke but the other one at all. If you want they do the room service each day. Everything veryuch appreciated! Highly suggested.

We were looking for a hotel near to the hospital with free parking. We didn't think about the purpose of this hotel but we are happily surprised with the room, the staff and the great breakfast. This hotel is a great value for your money.

Nice location and decoration. Welcoming reception. It gets in our shortlist for Athens.

Staff member are very helpful. This hotel has an elevator which is key. Clean place and the room WC is well stocked.
