Lida Hotel in Athens

Like no place I’ve stayed before. Booked for location and price, I really just wanted somewhere to sleep the night, and for that it did the job. I asked a lot from reception being a foreign national and they were really helpful. Breakfast is a bargain. You get a lot for €5 and they bring it to your room. The different part is, which I probably could have figured from the pics, was it seemed to be aimed at amorous couples 18+ only (don’t bring the kids). Saw many couples come and go (excuse the pun) staying for just a few hours. Didn’t bother me particularly although did feel a bit lonely knowing everyone else had “company” 😞, and maybe a bit uncomfortable knowing what the many previous occupants had been up to in my room. Decent location though and bar/snacks reasonably priced. Major downside, the whole place does smell of a combination of cigarettes and perfume, which is not unusual Greece as smoking laws are a lot more relaxed than the UK, gave me a bit of a headache until I got used to it. This is a 2 star hotel, which is probably a bit harsh tbh, I’ve stayed in a lot of Hotels in Greece and there are some very bad ones, I’d say this is probably a 3 star. All in all, if your after somewhere to sleep or a discrete liaison, it’s quite, the beds are comfortable enough and staff are very helpful.

Staff member are very helpful. This hotel has an elevator which is key. Clean place and the room WC is well stocked.

Fun hotel to go and play. The suite is a must. Fair prices. Great and supportive reception service

The decor was amazing so funny and cool I didn't stay long but the receptionist was Very funny enjoyed Him thanks Panagiotis 😍
