2 star hotels in Athens

Hotel is OK. Clean enough, friendly staff. Convenient location, in residential area, 15 min walk to Athens Mall and Metro, 5-10 min walk to restaurants, coffee shops etc. Hotel is small, about 15 rooms, our room was not very big and basic. It had a balcony with table and chairs. The hotel is due a renovation.

Everything OK, but there is a window that leaves the light of the sun enter the room. And breakfast is a little weak, for those who love omelettes, cheese, dried jam or similar.

I liked the hotel in general... nothing specific

Very nice and clean. Provides jacuzzi in selected rooms, though two times the jacuzzi didn’t work and still paid the extra fee.

This hotel is chiper tham usually. But a litle bit poor. There is no self service in the room. And the breakfast is always same.

Nice and helpful staff, clean room with confort beds. Nice view from balcony. Kind of old furniture, but functional. Maybe more towels for 3 guests would be nice (we got 2 face + 1 bath towels). You can add buffet breakfast to your room, simple but enough, located at the rooftop with nice view.

The hotel is located very close to the metro and the train station, and it is very convenient to get to and from the airport, and to the city center. Very good value for money.

I stayed here for 7 days with 2 others. Room is a bit small but clean. Bathroom is good. The connection with public transport is excellent, larissa station is 2 min. from the hotel. The people of the hotel were very friendly and helpfull. Price of the room was 55 euro p/d, which is fine. Good hotel to stay for the night, especially if you do sightseeing during the day.

Great place to stay on a budget! The rooms were cleaned every day. Friendly staff and a great location where you can get to the beach and city centre easily.

The room is a bit small, but it is very convenient to go to the airport. There is a bus to the airport just across the main road, which saves taxi costs.

Very nice view from the Balcony. However, guest need to clean up after themselves. They left coffee cups, ice cream cups, wrappers, etc. on the tables and ground.

The location was superb; we arrived early and reception was very accommodating; they answered all our questions patiently throughout our stay. Breakfast was adequate. Prefer to have yogurt, honey, Raisin Bran fruit (banana, water melon, figs, grapes) Internet was very intermittent.

Can’t beat the location. Staff was great , beds were comfortable. Coffee was good! It’s is an older hotel , but the price was incredible considering the location and the roof deck view of the acropolis.

Basic accommodation Excellent location in Plaka. Room was clean but look tired. Huge crack in sink not mentioned. Asked for twin but given a double. Night supervisor was great …. woke us to tell us of a ferry strike which would affect our onward journey. Thank you

I stayed here for two days and the staff were friendly upon arrival. They held our luggage for awhile because our check in was well after we arrived. Staff was nice and helpful and the location was perfect-walking distance from Acropolis and downtown. The area was great! However, the room didn’t feel very clean and the bathroom was tiny.

Clean rooms, very spacious. Far from Athens Center about 25 minutes. Staff was wonderful and friendly. A nice hotel that has seen better days. However I have been in newer 3 star hotels with a lower standard than this so a good place for the price. The view over Athens and Acropolis is a big plus.

Last minute need for an extra night in Athens. Great find! Very nice accommodations in Plaka area. Clean, comfortable, convenient- great rooftop view of Acropolis. Staff ( Mary) was friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend to family and friends

Hapimag Athens Resort is between Syntagma square and the Acropolis. It is located in a secondary street of the main plaka area. 2 steps away from the most interesting spots in Athens. Don't miss the view from the roof which is a "must go" both in the morning, at sunset and in the night.

We pick this hotel due to the location as it was close to a Wedding event. This is an older hotel with dated rooms But fitted just write to our needs. It was clean. The staff was extremely friendly. Check-in and checkout was really easy. Room service was available. We couldn’t ask for anything more.

The environment was friendly, the price affordable, the area is convenient, close to the places of interest, rather close to the cycle lane at the Thessaloniki street towards the sea, and about 20-30 minutes on foot from the railway station.
