Never had breakfast. Room was good and staff very friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Room was very clean and recently renovated. The young gentleman at reception was very courteous and informative. He went out of his way to bring me an iron and ironing board. Breakfast selection was great and hotel offered free shuttle service to cruise terminal.

The driver who picked me up for the free shuttle from the ferry dock was exceptional. He went out of his way to connect with me and was exceptional in negotiating my transfer to a different hotel due to a room problem. I don't know his name, but I sent a note to the hotel today to compliment him for his exceptional service on 10/13/25.

Breakfast was a boring cheese and bologna-type choice with hard-boiled egg. But most of my Greek hotels had this exact same cold breakfast. Insufficient electrical outlets in room. Located on Athinas street near Monesteraki Square: lively street with many food shops.

The hotel is located right on one of the central streets leading to the Acropolis. The highlight is the antique elevator inside. It's very convenient to take the metro to the airport; the station is in the direction of the Acropolis, just exit the hotel and turn right. The metro costs 9 euros, and you get off right outside the terminal building. The only thing is, you have to get off five stops later...

Hotel was affordable but definitely could have better amenities and service

You get what you pay for, the shower is tiny and the hose couldn’t be hung so I had to hold it, the breakfast isn’t worth it. You do however get a clean bed and a working A/C, and you’re close to everything, also the water pressure in the shower is great.

One of the most uncomfortable mattresses I’ve slept on in 28 years as an adult. A mattress upgrade would go a LONG way towards making this a VERY quality stay. Otherwise, a decent hotel for the price, in a fantastic location.

It's a good hotel with a great location and reasonable prices. We stayed three nights. The breakfast isn't the best, and the features aren't the newest, but it's clean, and there are good cafes close by. Additionally, the receptionists were extremely nice and welcoming.

The lack of a balcony made it feel a bit confined. The room cleaning staff came too early, which was inconvenient because we had to leave the room while they were cleaning.

Clean hotel and friendly people

Friendly and welcoming reception, available even during the night, which is very convenient. The rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. One small downside is that there’s no complimentary water in the room upon arrival. Other than that, this hotel offers excellent value for money.

The hotel is not far from the port - 15 minutes walk-but you still need a taxi to get to the major passenger cruise line (like Holland America, etc) as the port is huge. Rooms are very clean, and it is in a quiet area. Metro is close by - maybe 7 min walk. The best thing about the hotel is front desk staff of the hotel. This hotel stands out for several reasons: it is clean, organized, friendly, and serviceable. Additionally, it is centrally located in the city of Piraeus. Me and my friend were there for night there. We felt like home from the first moment. Reception staff was amazing. I loved that we got some candies as a welcome in the room. Was great value, the beds were amazing. And we even got slippers(a nice touch even I did not used them), I have been in 3* hotels and never been offered slippers. I recommend it!

I recently stayed at ideal hotel and had an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and attentive to every detail.

Clean room, which was a relief after the hotel a couple blocks away we had initially booked and decided to leave after checking the mattresses. Lovely no-frills hotel with fantastic service.

It's a basic hotel. Clean rooms, friendly staff. Close to the train station and lots of restaurants and shops. You can catch the city tour bus right up the street in the square. Comfortable beds and a nice view from the balcony. I would stay again.

Place is very spacious and clean. Pool is very well maintained. View is amazing. Plenty of shade to have breakfast outside. Parking is tight and the side road to reach the property is narrow and steep at times.

Rooms & bathrooms are spacious with a high ceiling & artfully decorated, while staff are kind and always ready to provide assistance. Overall the hotel is a real gem if you are agreeable to a ten-minutes-plus walk from the nearest metro stop.

The money I paid for this room in this hotel so far from the center and far from public transportation was too much. There was not even a kettle to make a drink that should have been there and a basic breakfast and not to be charged an additional 6€. The price of this room was excessive. The only thing that was worth it in the room was the bathroom.

The staff was really nice, our flight was delayed and we had to check in really late, they were still super kind. However, the A/C in the room where our kids were meant to sleep was broken. The front desk person came in, tried to fix it, and then said “it’s dead.” My husband then had to suggest moving the cot into the main room. We stayed one night before departing Athens for the islands. The staff was kind, the rooms, though a little dated, were clean and comfortable. The elevator can fit 2 people at a time, so be prepared to take stairs if you aren’t patient. They had a convenient food delivery app!

The hotel itself is acceptable, but its location is a complete disaster. While it may seem close to the city center, it's definitely not worth it due to the dirty streets, crumbling buildings in the vicinity, and the pervasive foul odor.

This is an affordable hotel with a fantastic location. The metro is just a few minutes' walk away, offering quick access to various parts of the city. The front desk staff were superb and highly professional. During our three-day stay, we encountered three different staff members, and each one was outstanding. We highly recommend this hotel for a short trip to Athens.

Very cool hotel. We had a wonderful and sexy time. Use this hotel for what it is meant for, a sexy time with your partner, and you won't be disappointed. They have many theme rooms you can rent by a block of hours. The staff was very nice and helped us pick a room. We didn't do any sleeping here, but our time here was well spent and the atmosphere they create is delightful.

The Priamos Hotel is in easy walking distance to Kolonaki Square, several museums, Aristotle's Lyceum, and Syntagma. Best of all is the quiet local charm away from the maddening crowd. The multilingual staff is friendly and helpful. The lavish 70's Vegas Lounge decor grows on you and the pricing is unbeatable.

The lift make a very big noise that prevent you to sleep. But it's a funny place.

Do not get their breakfast. Coffee is cold and they put a few items on a tray with a towel on it put away somewhere and the front desk clerk had to find it. As a matter of fact no one gets their breakfast. Cleaning lady is loud. Fumbling with bags near the door.

Basic but definitely good value for the price. Shower head had to be held and water got everywhere but shampoo and towels were available. Reception is not difficult if you arrive at midnight and was quick and polite. Bed was clean and there was an extra sleeping bag in the wardrobe. No nice view, no other toiletries, no equipment to make hot drinks or food (but a fridge!).

It’s near the tourist destinations, place is easy to find and also the reception is very helpful and kind. Definitely staying again in this hotel.

The location in the Plaka is excellent! Just a block or two from restaurants and shops. A little grocery right next door. The room i had was sparce but sufficient. Great staff. Uber taxis can pick up and drop off right outside ( not so for some other accommodations in the Plaka).

We had a great time, staff is super friendly and considerate. Room was spacious. We asked for a quiet room and got to choose which one we wanted. I picked one facing an inner courtyard, no outside noise. Breakfast starts at 6.30 and was fine. For the price it’s great!

We love the Nefeli Hotel. We have stayed there consistently over the last 20 years. It is small, economical, family run and located in the Plaka, a great neighborhood. The rooms are clean, simply decorated, each with a private bathroom. The staff are professional, friendly and helpful. It’s a wonderful old style Athenian hotel.

There is room for improvement My room was on the highest where the elevator did not reach. Not a problem for me, but maybe for others. The door to the shower was quite. Anyone fatter than me would not pass. Bed was good. The room was clean. Personnel was friendly. The fan saved my life since the room was quite hot.

We was made to feel very welcome all the time we were there. We are a family of 3 (2 adults 1 child aged 16) and the room was perfect for us, we even had a mini fridge to put our water in to keep it cool. It was cleaned everyday and the staff were lovely
