It is very classic and vintage inside the room! But hotel reception and doorman are very thoughtful and helpful on every guilde to everyone! The hotel is located about 10 minute taxi ride outside of Athens but as a result it has the most stunning views of the entire city particularly the puffin on from its night story restaurant

The location isn't very convenient, but the breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the views are great. The front desk staff was also super nice and even upgraded my room

I recently attended a corporate event at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens by IHG. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but the hotel itself made a strong impression

The service was excellent, the staff very professional and courteous, and the event space on the 6th floor — with its terrace overlooking the Acropolis — was truly stunning

All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old

My flight arrived in the morning, and unfortunately, there weren't any rooms available yet, but they managed to get one ready for us before 1 PM, which was great

If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand) If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel (not sure how it got the rating it did) based if nothing else on the ridiculous bathroom - $179 a night for a room where you can't open the bathroom door and walk into the room, you have to edge your way in and close the door to access the shower, and where the shower is so close to the sink and door you can't get to the sink if either the door is open or the...

All ok apart from some staff didn’t speak any English almost so difficult to communicate

Absolutely perfect hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the facilities are brand new. There are three private beaches, a heated indoor pool, and an outdoor pool

However, in the off-season, the prices are much more affordable and the experience is even better, though you won't be able to enjoy water activities

They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious

There was road noise constantly but not as bad could've been expected. The room was standard sized and the bed was reasonably comfortable if a little tired. Hallway carpets were worn and stained

The location was okay, if you can get past the poor infrastructure of Athens, which seems to have broken sidewalks and an inordinate amount of graffiti

there was lots of good restaurants and bars near by but was a 40 min walk to down town or a 10 Uber ride but the hotel was clean friendly good food great balcony rooms Most of all we eere back early 10 am from our cruise and they had our rooms ready by 11 for our whole tour group this was amazing !!

The only negative is the bed which is two small beds pushed together like in most hotels in Europe. I am a big guy so I would always end up in between the two beds :-( The breakfast was really good and varied
