Where to stay with pets in Athens

The hotel is located about 10 minute taxi ride outside of Athens but as a result it has the most stunning views of the entire city particularly the puffin on from its night story restaurant

It’s a five star hotel with a paralleled access to swimming pools and luxuries that are not common in Athens hotels I highly recommend staying here

The location isn't very convenient, but the breakfast is absolutely amazing, and the views are great. The front desk staff was also super nice and even upgraded my room

Wow what a great hotel! The location is ideal it’s out of the busy acropolis area of the city but still close enough to walk to most of the sites if you wanted

The hotel is conveniently located on Poseidon Avenue in Athens. Its rooftop restaurant offers great views of the Acropolis.

The universal adapter I brought didn't work in the room, but luckily, I was able to borrow one from the business center. Breakfast was decent, and it's about a 20-minute walk to the Acropolis

I recently attended a corporate event at the InterContinental Athenaeum Athens by IHG. I didn’t stay overnight, so I can’t comment on the rooms, but the hotel itself made a strong impression

Facilities: Hahahahahahahahaha (This part seems to be an expression of amusement, rather than a direct comment on facilities, so I'm leaving it as is to preserve the original sentiment

The service was excellent, the staff very professional and courteous, and the event space on the 6th floor — with its terrace overlooking the Acropolis — was truly stunning

All aspects were taken care of by their professional team. Breakfast was very good, a lot of options. Although their hardware, like furnitures, were like 20+ years old

My flight arrived in the morning, and unfortunately, there weren't any rooms available yet, but they managed to get one ready for us before 1 PM, which was great

The location is excellent, with easy access to all major attractions. Overall, a classy hotel with outstanding service highly recommended for a special stay in Athens

The hotel’s atmosphere is luxurious yet very relaxing, and the location is ideal — close to the city center but still quiet enough to enjoy a peaceful stay

Hotel was very good and location of the hotel too! There was small problem that I come early in the morning at 4:30 am. Wanted to pay for early check in

We had the most enjoyable stay at the Divani caravel. It’s is a 5min drive from the centre of Athens and has nice coffee shops nearby. The rooftop pool is beautiful with great views of the city and the Parthenon

I stayed a total of 5 days in between tours. If had to find any improvement, maybe have a bidet in every toilet. But overall, I recommend this hotel. Close enough to city centre via subway or €8-10taxi

They tried their best to give me my room ahead of check in time along with a complimentary breakfast. Maybe as an improvement, add something something new each or every other day

It is located not far away from the metro station. The room is clean and spacious. The breakfast is bountiful and delicious. The WiFi connection is stable. The view of the Acropolis is spectacular!

The room was nice and the beds comfortable. Two restaurants right outside the front door. Their breakfast was unrivaled in my experience. If I make it back to Athens, this is where I'd stay again

Honestly I wouldn't recommend this hotel (not sure how it got the rating it did) based if nothing else on the ridiculous bathroom - $179 a night for a room where you can't open the bathroom door and walk into the room, you have to edge your way in and close the door to access the shower, and where the shower is so close to the sink and door you can't get to the sink if either the door is open or the...

All ok apart from some staff didn’t speak any English almost so difficult to communicate

The hotel is very clam and nice. We love it

I would highly recommend this hotel. The only small downside is the area around the hotel

If you do the: hop on hop off busses,as we are there is a stop in front for the 2 main companies (we prefer the big bus brand) If you're going to Athens, the Athens Marriott is a nice place to come home to after a full day of being a tourist

Great quality hotel! So far it’s been a great experience. We flew in with a group of about 70 people for a tour with discovery tours. We showed up at the hotel, 10 minutes later, we were all checked in and in our rooms

Lots of towels, robes and slippers. Very nice sized frig and housekeeping was very good. For qualifying members, food and service was terrific daily

Although I must suggest that you leave the food out until the stated time. Breakfast is amazing! We thought so and I overheard another guest describe it as the best he's ever had in a hotel

Oh and BTW? check out the roof top resterraut yummy!

Their energy and dedication to excellent service never goes unnoticed, and they both truly add to the wonderful experience

Very nice and calm hotel in the city center, that has an excellent location and amazing view to Acropolis. When we arrived, we received fresh fruit as welcome. The staff is polite and friendly

Great location and good views, with the right room. Breakfast is $25/person if not included. Lots of good and cheap restaurants within 5 minutes. Generic hotel though that feels a bit old and needs an update

 Extraordinary expensive room service menue towards food and beverage, low quality beer selection, wine list by glass more than overpriced ! On the good side to mention is cleanliness and the location less than 100 meters away from Athens airport

The location is unbeatable — you just walk out of the terminal, cross three zebra crossings, and you’re in the lobby. The hotel is definitely 5-star and feels it in cleanliness and comfort

But overall verdict:  the money spent is borderline for such category of hotel ! Overpriced in comparison how it was 2, 3 years ago…

  If time doesn’t matter there are a few smaller good hotels within 15 or 20 minutes reach by taxi with reasonable price and excellent home cooked Greek food…

The location of the hotel was good. The metro was right below the hotel and there were cafes and bakery around the hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful as well.

We got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Location was also great with the subway just outside

Business hotel. The location was okay, but not excellent. Breakfast was great.

The Stanley Hotel was in a convenient location. Next to food and shops, as well as easy transportation or walking to your destination

The subway entrance right downstairs is super convenient, with direct lines to all the major attractions. The blankets and towels had a weird smell – both fragrant and stinky at the same time

I stayed there with my family in December 2024 over Christmas. Four Seasons Athens is a fantastic place, located in a beautiful area

Absolutely perfect hotel! The rooms are beautiful and the facilities are brand new. There are three private beaches, a heated indoor pool, and an outdoor pool

The welcome and overall service was amazing, the diversity and quality of restaurants is great and facilities (outdoors and spa) super nice. Rooms are luxurious and big enough, all with a great view on the sea

Nearby, there's a marina in the upscale district and a street with luxury shops, perfect for a stroll. It's truly fantastic; I'll definitely be back!

To the left is the pool, and to the right is the Aegean Sea – simply stunning! The breakfast is amazing, and they even offer free electric bicycles

It's in a very good location, clean, the breakfast has a great variety, and the staff are friendly. However, the free swimming pool is cold; it's impossible to use it in winter.

This is the second stay for our family at this hotel and once again it exceeded our expectations. On arrival, the porters assisted us with our luggage, the staff at the front desk were welcoming and made checkin simple

The hotel has complete facilities and beautiful environment. It is close to the sea. It was windy and cold in Athens these two days, so I couldn't go to the beach. It's a pity. I will stay here in the summer.

There's a nice Cafe next door if you fancy a change for breakfast, lunch or dinner, and also a good freshly made pizza takeaway shop across the road. I would recommend this hotel 🏨 if you don't mind the surrounding area

The buffet breakfast is good value with a great selection to choose from, although I found the hot food cold, I still ate it as I'm not fussy but the wife didn't. The room service food was awesome and big portions

The fridge in our room stopped working and they fixed it straight away 👍. The surrounding area was a bit rough compared to what I would normally book but it was convenient for the metro lines (10-minute walk)

This is definately not a 5 star hotel. I can’t understand how it’s been given that ranking. The room was definitely not the same as the picture. The carpet in the room was old and faded

Probably one of the best locations in the city of Athens. The staff is excellent and truly works miracles to provide the best possible service despite the building being quite old

Completely in Love with the view from the Rooftop. The location was walking distance to all the sites and the roof top was magical at night when all the most iconic places had switched on the lights

Other luxury hotels in the city, even the most famous, can be really busy, with the lobbies filled with tour and cruise groups, buses parked in front making even the most elegant hotels feel almost too big, too commercial

From the moment I entered the hotel, where I was greeted and escorted to the reception desk for check in, I knew this was going to be a great visit. My room was roomy and comfortable with great amenities

Good location for a layover—if you plan to stay longer you’ll need a car or be prepared for taxis or public transportation. Only one food option around (within hotel) otherwise

They offer airport transportation shuttle service. There’s a gas station/cafe right cross the parking lot that sells food & snacks which much cheaper than the hotel. The king room standard I selected was very spacious

Pleasant helpful staff. Clean rooms.. There are Slippers, robes, tea, coffee, shampoos etc. Very good place if you need to stay overnight near the airport. Breakfast is included

Shuttle is a really good added service especially when transitioning between the airport for flights that don't connect on the same day. Would definitely recommend to other travellers
