The owners (Dimitris and his mother Majka) gave us a warm welcome and were always available for us and our wishes. For a small extra charge, there is a sufficient breakfast in the morning (coffee or tea, egg, feta, bread, ham and cheese toast, orange juice, Greek yogurt) under the trees in the garden. Personal needs (e.g. vegetarians) are also taken into account if necessary.
The hotel is just a few minutes from the metro station. Restaurants can be found a short distance away on the opposite side of Vouliagmenis Avenue.
We hope that a room will be available for us again on our next stay in Athens. :)
The stay was amazing, the area was beautiful and easy access to metro.
The only problem was when using the hot water it can be scolding and so can the pipes. I burnt my self nearly twice, so be careful.
The rooms are cozy, good wifi, and Majka, the mother, prepared a wonderful dinner made of local produces.
There is a grocery shop 5-7 minutes walking from the house, as well as restaurants and Greek tavernas.
Dimitris is very friendly and will suggest many nice places to visit in the city centre.
You do have to cross a main road to get to the pubs and restaurants, but they are close. €10 taxi ride to the acropolis. Lovely breakfast only €5 per person.
