Cosmopolit in Athens

Nice hotel in the middle of Omonia square. The location is amazing plenty of public transport options around , close to everything.

Clean and central hotel, the receptionists are friendly.

The room is clean and the location is quite good.

However, the shower is a real challenge; you inevitably flood the entire bathroom while showering.

The hotel boasts a perfect location. The metro station is just a minute's walk away, or you can enjoy a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll to the Plaka district, where all attractions are then within easy reach. Right outside the metro station, you'll find a shopping center featuring a charming rooftop cafe. It's an ideal spot to unwind with a coffee while enjoying a fantastic view, including the Acropolis in the distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Additionally, near the entrance, there's a display with various brochures to help you explore Athens.

Good hotel in a central location . Close to many restaurants and cafes

I stayed in a single room on floor 4. The room was clean and had a window. The windows opened. There was a new fridge in the room that was fantastic and I was able to have ice cold drinks. The bathroom was small but had everything I needed. The room was cleaned every day and fresh towels and linens provided. The cleaner was very nice. There was enough room for all my bags, it was snug but very good for the price. I ate breakfast every morning. It was a really nice breakfast room. The breakfast is basic but everything is very fresh and nicely presented. Floor 1 had a strong scent of tobacco and I assumed it was the smoking floor. Floor 4 where I stayed was very quiet and I didn’t smell smoke at all. As a non smoking so traveller I have to have theses needs met! The reception staff were very friendly and polite. The hotel is central it’s only a 20 min walk to all the Athens highlights. It’s a great walk too! Lots of interesting shops! The Archeological museum is only a short walk from the hotel so well placed. The train station main line is only 15 min walk too. There’s a great place to have a full dinner just round the corner for around 12 euros which is great value. I loved the shopping in the area. A very comfy stay I would definitely come back. As a solo female traveller I felt quite safe at the hotel. It is a basic clean hotel and at a budget price. The images attached are of the things mentioned including pictures of the room.

The hotel staff, from the front desk to housekeeping and breakfast staff, were all very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
The breakfast buffet didn't have a wide selection, but it was more than adequate and nutritious. Given the price, the friendly service, and the food, it's a great value. Highly recommended!
The location is also excellent, very close to the subway, making it easy to walk to the supermarket, go to Monastiraki, and shop. Taking the subway to the airport was also a breeze!
Greek people are incredibly friendly! Supermarkets are also very honest.
Unlike in Spain, where some supermarkets sometimes mislabel prices or over-list items, this demonstrates the honesty and friendly attitude of the staff at Greek supermarkets in Athens towards foreigners!

The Spanish people are incredibly friendly and welcoming. With the exception of the supermarket near St. Paul's Hospital, which was terrible, I wouldn't recommend buying anything there. Everything else in Spain was wonderful!

Spanish public transportation is well-signposted, making it perfect for independent travel!
Thankfully, the friendly Greek people made up for any concerns about not being able to understand Greek.
Conclusion:
Highly recommend traveling to Spain, France, Italy, and Greece.
The people are incredibly friendly and welcoming!

I really appreciate the hotel staffs!!!

At first, I was concerned. The area did not look great. But the room was decent, clean. The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was amazing and was 15 minute walk to basically everything. We did walk up to the central square at night as well as back from site seeing about 10pm. No issues for us. But still be aware of your surroundings.
