Myrion Beach Resort & Spa - Adults Only in Gerani

Lovely stay. Most things perfect, the atmosphere, service, breakfast, pool and beach areas. Only minus was the hotel area - there is nothing to do outside the hotel, and also the lunch restaurant had too few options. We ate lunch there every day for a week and had already tried the entire menu after three days.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel from October 8th to 12th. The service was exceptional. Upon our late arrival, we were upgraded to a two-story room and treated to a complimentary Greek salad. We truly appreciated this thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself is stunning, and I couldn’t resist taking pictures of every corner😍

A superb, newly built hotel, worthy of a five-star rating. The entire staff is professional, welcoming, helpful, and very friendly. The location is top-notch, right down to a beautiful sandy beach, a quiet neighborhood, and cozy restaurants within walking distance.

The welcome was really well organised and very friendly. They give you a little tour when you arrive and take you to your room, which is a nice touch and helps you settle in. The hotel is quite remote, but there are a few small shops and neighbouring restaurants close by that get you through. It’s good if you want to properly switch off — it kind of forces you to relax because there isn’t loads going on. A taxi to Platanias was €12, which was worth it for a change of scenery. We also went into Chania Old Town one evening, which cost €28 each way and was definitely worth it — lovely atmosphere, good food, and nice to have a wander somewhere busier. You can’t really walk to Platanias unless you’re happy with long country lanes, so taxis are needed. We walked the opposite way one day, which turns into a seafront path after about 20–25 minutes and has a few quiet restaurants and hotels. The lane outside the hotel gets quite dark at night, so take a phone torch. The food and drinks were probably the biggest let-down and stop it being a true 5-star. Breakfast – very limited hot food, and most of it just warm unless you have an omelette cooked fresh. Service could be hit and miss — a few times we had to chase coffee, and one morning they completely forgot us while we waited for a table. We ended up skipping breakfast a few days because it didn’t feel worth the effort. Lunch – also very limited, mostly salads and a couple of other options, so we went out most days. I love a dessert and very limited options with that too. We were only B&B thankfully, as other guests said the evening buffet was cold. The little restaurant Bossa Nova just down the road saved us — lovely food and great service. We went back a few times. You can order food and drinks to your sunbed which is a nice idea, but again, it’s the same small menu. Even things like smoothies don’t exist, so if you’re not drinking alcohol there isn’t much choice. We would have happily spent more money at lunch if there was a better range. Cocktails were normal hotel prices but nothing special, probably premixed. The pool is big and you don’t need to rush for sunbeds which are also really comfy. The towel lady is great fun. There was a DJ on Sunday which lifted the mood a bit — otherwise, it’s very quiet and everyone tends to keep to themselves. That’s good if you want peace, but it was nice to have a bit of music now and then. Evening entertainment exists but it’s extremely low key. We popped our heads in a few times but didn’t stay. The beach is right in front of the hotel and super convenient, though it could do with a bit of a tidy-up. Still, it’s easy to get to and we used it quite a bit. We had a pool-view room, which I’d definitely recommend — otherwise, you’ll be looking out at the car park. The left-hand side gets the sun in the morning, the right-hand side in the afternoon, if you like to follow the sun. The room was small with limited space to put things, but housekeeping was go

We went to Myrion with my spouse and my 70-year-old parents for a week vacation. Hotel is very modern, clean and has a beatiful pool area. Hotel also has some very pleasant scent we couldn't figure out where it came from. It was the first thing we noticed when we arrived at the lobby, and the same smell is all over the hotel's inside areas. I don't know how other guests feel about it, but we absolutely loved it! Breakfast and dinner were good and had a lot variety. I specially loved that there was a lot of healthy choices; different kind of salads, vegetables and fruits available. The only downside at breakfast was tea selection: there was none. I myself don't drink bagged tea, I only drink quality loose leaf tea, which was not in this hotel's selection. However, I was not surprised by this, since I am aware Greece is not a "tea drinking country". But it would have been nice to get quality tea in a quality establishment. Hotel's beach was small rock beach mixed with sand. Seawater looked clean, but unfortunately there was strong waves few days when we would have time to go swimming, so we couldn't really test this. Service in this hotel is excellent and the staff is very helpful. For example, we asked for car rental option from the reception and they gave us the choices of car selection, then made the the call to the rental company they are in cooperation with. The car was brought to the hotel the next day and returned the same way. This was very convenient, thank you for that! The gym at the hotel is very small, I would not go exercise with more than two or max three people at the same time. There were two treadmills, but neither of them worked properly two times i went to the gym. I couldn't figure out where the problem was and there was no staff at the spa reception at that time. Overall we were very pleased of our stay in Myrion. This was no doubt one of the best hotel's I have ever stayed. Thank you! And please, don't ever give up on the scent you have in your hotel :) I miss it already.

Had an amazing stay. Rooms were very comfortable and big and big balcony. There are enough beds by the pool even when the hotel was packed. Everything is clean and the food is amazing. Breakfast buffet is perfect with focus on quality and not quantity. There is a little town nearby with all sorts of restaurants and shops. A taxi can take you there for 12 euro. Chania is also just 20 minute drive. I just found it a but disappointing that you charge money for using the padel court and for using the sauna. Also i have never seen a hotel charging money for room service (10 euro).

Excellent room and service . Expensive drinks . Sunday DJ on a bit of an ego trip and excessively loud , noise cancelling headphones probably wouldn’t solve the problem . If I’d booked a room around the pool I’d have been complaining rather more - he needs to be brought into line
