🏠 Our Rooms We stayed in a Double Room with a Sea View – spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, TV, safe, and plenty of sockets. The balcony had a great view of the Olympic pool and sea

The hotel was spotless throughout, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, helpful, and clearly worked very hard to keep everything running smoothly

One of the best resorts we’ve ever encountered: amazing food variety and quality, competent and friendly staff, excellent facilities, great beach and pools, convenient location.

The beach is amazing, the pools are very nice and clean, the staff and dining was great, we had an amazing time and we’re very happy that we booked this resort for two weeks!

The resort is huge so although it was full, you couldn’t feel it. Nice activities, lots of pools, you can always find a spot with a sun bed in one of the pools

It was an excellent experience from start to finish! ✈️ Travel & Location Our trip was booked with Jet2 Holidays, flying from Leeds Bradford Airport. The flight should have been 3. 5 hours, but we had a 4-hour delay

Theres not a lot to walk to nearby and the local beaches are taken up by sunbeds from the bars, but we'd recommend a walk into Koutouloufari for a look round the shops or a drink in the evening

The main dining area is really big and being able to sit outside meant you didn't feel like you were going to the same restaurant for every meal! Lots of fresh food options, the grill and the salad bars were excellent

The pools are fab - a 50 metre pool on holiday! Even when it was busy it didn't feel busy. Plenty of sunbeds available around the pools or on the peaceful sun terrace

Having a separate bar area from the entertainment means you can choose a more peaceful spot in the evening, or get involved in the fun

We loved our stay (August 2025) at the Royal And Imperial Belvedere hotel. Our room was great, newly decorated and spotlessly clean

The causal dining options were also great with a range of family friendly food available

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

The restaurants offer something for everyone, from delicious local dishes to international favourites, all cooked to perfection. The pools are crystal-clear and plentiful, so there’s always a perfect spot to relax

The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

We had an absolutely amazing holiday at Creta Maris! 🌞 The resort exceeded every expectation — beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm

The resort was beautiful and well maintained. If you want any drinks with American liquor there us an upcharge.

The tennis courts were great and facilities for children also enjoyable

The hotel is lovely, yes it does get busy with families in school holidays but that can be said of many places, the staff are all fantastic and nothing is too much trouble for their guests

We love them all and in all of our travels we have never found anywhere quite so comfortable and that makes us feel like we are at home while we are away. We will see you all next year

We stayed 4th to 14th September 2025 and as always our stay was fantastic

People have mentioned that some of the rooms are dated which I don't understand because the room we booked was pretty much the same as the one pictured on the hotels and Jet2 s websites

My partner and I stayed for two weeks at this hotel mid October. Room 258 had fabulous sea views and most nights we were treated to the most wonderful Sunsets

Our room was slightly old-fashioned, but the furniture was comfortable and good quality and the room was kept spotlessly clean by Housekeeping

The grounds, staff, food, views, all amazing. Our private pool was in shade all of the time but it's probably in sin during the summer months. Lots of mosquitos so plug ins are a must

Deet didn't really do anything to deter them and we all came home with bites. Sitting out in our private garden wasn't recommended but the communal areas were fine

We loved the all inclusive food options and the staff were lovely

We were also disappointed that we couldn’t get even one night at the à la carte restaurant, especially since the hotel was nearly closing for the season in late October

We had a fabulous 4 night stay in a 3 bedroom maisonette (upgrade from 2 bedroom maisonette). We were 2 adults and a teenager staying in the last week of the season in October

When we gave our feedback, the guest relations lady didn’t take it very well and rather bluntly mentioned that no other guests had complained about the limited meat options — we felt this was a bit rude and dismissive

Fortunately, the mini disco is a bit away from the main restaurant and, although we are here with a small child, we really appreciated having a room far away from the hustle and bustle of the kids' pool and mini disco

Great resort in a quiet area with a private beach with free sun loungers, beach bar and swimming pool Rooms were nice and spacious, housekeeping stuff was friendly and always wanted to help with anything

Minor renovations are needed (for example, the indoor pool), but in general everything is still usable and good value for money

There were always enough sun chairs both at the pool and the beach! A total recommendation if you look for a family vacation!

There were many options for lunch and dinner and the breakfast buffet was amazing. It’s very family friendly there and there are activities for children and adults. It was a beautiful walk to Georgiopolis on the beach

It's a bit of a shame that the all-you-can-eat nature of the restaurant means that the cuisine is somewhat underappreciated. Because a lot of it is really well made and above average! Everything is clean

It is fresh water and has a cafe and fantastic views and is great for families with small children although there is still the kiddies area near ghe theatre with upgraded paddling pool, better shading and better sunbeds

The pools were fab, although we only swam in the freshwater one, but everywhere was clean, towels changed daily, and little shop on site for water / snacks for the day we stayed on site

Lovely building now that can be used for drinks and beverages in the day like any cafe on site. The 'infinity pool' at the top of the site has been refurbished with better sunbeds and family areas

Yes the main hotel is ready for renovation, but it’s been absolutely fine for us. The bathroom has already been upgraded, and everything was super clean and functional. Lots of toiletries provided and fresh towels daily

If you’re here without a car, go early on in your stay to the village at Panamos (by land train) and book your trips from the offices there. Overall great value for money, and the staff have been absolutely magnificent

The animation team are extremely hard working, providing entertainment during the day and also nightly shows in the theatre. Our stay was topped off with a very well organised Halloween party/disco hosted at the hotel

We didnt try the restaurants and stuck with Buffet which a wide range and variety of dishes - even Chinese! The cakes and desserts were exemplary! Drinks wise kids were happy with sodas and we drank the Minoan Era lager which we really liked

I had a Spa Day and treatment - staff were excellent, sauna and jacazzui lovely. On a duller day took kids to the Aquarium which was good and only 30 min walk e/w along the seafront

It’s also a great place if you like cats! The only negative is not being a beachfront resort but having said that, the five minute walk to the beach is quite pleasant

My family and I had a lovely holiday at Gouves. The staff were excellent, particularly Maria at Poseidon Bar who could not do enough for us

Food was excellent: I have two fussy eaters and they could always find something to eat at the Buffet

We came in April and it majority of facilities as to WHY we chose this hotel are closed and not available - play area for kids, indoor pool closed due to construction

The free hotel shuttle is very convenient (just coordinate the time with the host). The property also features a nice outdoor pool and a useful self-service laundry, free except for detergent capsules

It has a huge pool overooking Chania town and a nice gym. We couldn't use the pool, as it was winter, but the gym we liked a lot

From beginning to end our stay was truly amazing The staff especially Maria and Nikos on reception were so so friendly and helpful Gorjuss hotel fantastic complimentary mini bus into town And back Rooms great

I’m reluctant to leave a fabulous review as everyone will want to go there! It was our 4th visit to the hotel & it never fails to deliver on excellence, the staff are amazingly friendly & professional, nothing is too much trouble for them

Very nice hotel, clean, with big rooms. Room service is great, every day they refill our coffees. We can ask them to refill our water containers, thus saving plastic bottles. The staff is amazing, always smiling and nice

Modern hotel with clean rooms and well-maintained bathrooms. Breakfast was excellent, offering panoramic views of Chania from the dining area. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a non-alcoholic drink

The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, and spacious, and the rooms with private pools are simply luxurious! A few minor downsides: to reach the beach, you have to cross the road, and sunbeds are available only on the hotel grounds

The same applies to the hotel towels. We booked “all inclusive” but here’s what that means: • Water is tap water. • Service is basic, nowhere near 5-star

We stayed at Galini Palace Hotel — overall, it’s a great option for a relaxing vacation. The staff are very friendly, always ready to help and accommodate guests

Room cleaning was done regularly, and towels were changed every day. The food was varied, with a beautiful buffet-style presentation — there’s something for every taste

Generally a nice stay. General cleaning and maintenance needs improvement. Nothing terrible but given price and 5* needs improvement. Staff friendly. Food nice. Drinks okay. Main pool area nice.

Location was pretty amazing for us, they have a nice pool and a lot of options for kids and adults, and the sea is there with a minute walk. Everything seems new and the staff were polite and helpful

The team at the Greek restaurant helped surprise my husband with a birthday cake on our first night too. My sons loved the water slides and pool and the evening entertainment was fun

Our favourite was the white party disco. Although the location is remote and there isn’t a lot to do in the local area the hotel is big enough without feeling trapped. We would definitely visit again

The food is very good and better than a lot of 5 star resorts we have visited. The A’la carte Greek and Asian restaurants are amazing with the food and service excellent

The staff always go above and beyond and always make our holidays the best. We wouldn’t be going back this many times if we didn’t have a fabulous holiday

We’ve just come back from the Atlantica Ocean Beach and had the best holiday. My 2 boys (7&9) loved the kids club and the staff were fantastic

We came in October and even though it was nearing the end of the season the service was fantastic, couldn’t fault it. The resort was great, absolutely lovely beach and the staff are all wonderful

The beach is two minutes from the main complex. Beach towels provided every day. There are different places on the complex to eat. We can’t praise Agapi Beach Resort enough

Great resort, staff were super helpful especially those at the restaurant. The Spa was amazing and the staff took time to speak with us before recommending treatment to book

Sadly - Gripe 2 back to the bathroom -the door won't open fully - because the toilet is in the way -the shower was never better than warm and the towels for a 4* were very thin -and bar putting then out on the balcony were still wet the following morning -resulting in either another drying session or a change every say

Manos, the manager in the restaurant is an absolute gem, so welcoming and friendly. Can’t fault this resort in any way 😊

Not to mention pool chairs were all reserved by 8 am by people who would spend the day going between the beach and the pool. Beach is nice and sandy with only small pebbles nearing the water line

We have had a great time at this hotel. Plenty of great dining options, multiple swimming pools, sea access was great

Lovely hotel for a family holiday. Between the pools, water park and beach our water babies were in heaven; with the inclusively priced cocktails we were too! Delicious and great range of food in the buffet

We just had our second family holiday at Marine Palace and were once again very happy with everything. The location, the food and service is great!

The only slight negative we found was the lack of lactose-free yoghurt, which was surprising given the multitude of options otherwise

Perhaps the biggest highlight was the staff, they were lovely and super helpful any time we needed anything

It would have been nice to be able to try the yoghurt, but sadly this made it impossible for us

We were guests in this Hotel for 7 days. Superior Hotel, clean and nice. Our rooms comfortable with a nice view to the Pools. Food & Beverages tasteful and always enough

We were very lucky to revieve an upgrade on our room which had a pool!

Great food, friendly staff, drinks are amazing and the bar staff takes their time to prepare them, beautiful beach and the spa was very relaxing. My daughter and I enjoyed our facials!

The massage here was really good. I was treated by Albora, she was very friendly and polite, and the massage was perfect. The products smell amazing. Highly recommended!!!

I visited the spa with my daughter for the Cretan masssage. We both thouroughly loved this and would recommend. Albora is very good.

We booked a different hotel and really didn’t feel comfortable so found this place and transferred here the same night of check in

We found the swimming pool to be a little cold, but I suspect this was just that we were late in the season. The food at this hotel is delicious, especially the Italian and Steak restaurants

There is a bus stop right outside the hotel which takes you directly to Heraklion. All the staff are extremely friendly and caring, but a special thank you to Katerina, head of house keeping, who went above and beyond

It was the perfect way to end a fun-filled day at the park. The Disney shows made us feel like we were part of the story — everything was colorful, fun, and full of joy. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations

I had an accident on our first day which required x rays in hospital (absolutely no fault of the hotel). Katerina was at my side whilst waiting for medical care, and was waiting for me when I returned from hospital

The amenities were top-notch — especially the breakfast buffet, which offered a great variety of fresh and delicious options. One of the highlights of our trip was the Cuban show in the evening

The music, dancing, and energy were simply unforgettable! The performers were so talented, and the vibrant costumes and live band created such a lively, authentic Caribbean vibe

A special mention to Maria at the pool bar who was always so lovely and looked after us perfectly around the pool

The pool area is ok,end of season and the grass was well worn and dirty,the pool waa freezing so only the odd brave person in there! Maria was the loveliest waitress though and ensured we never went without anything

My personal opinion has been it's been difficult to entertain the children here for the last week at the end of October. The pools are absolutely freezing. In fact even though the sea is cold it's warmer than the pools

And that heating very pool is unrealistic. It's tiny and it wouldn't cost you alot to heat it. It could really use the investment. The mini golf is tired, broken and old and could also use some investment

The final issue is the indoor pool which was tired looking and had no entertainment for the kids there. There clearly used to be a bar there as well

The beach isn't the best as no sand but lovely setting, even though there is a restaurant there you cannot eat there unless you have pre booked for 1 of your al a carte meals which is a shame as only other alternative was a hot dog or melon out of a machine

There are 5 swimming pools, including a mini waterpark for children, making the resort perfect for families, fully reflecting the SOL by Meliá brand standards

The hotel beach is clean and well equipped, with sunbeds and umbrellas included, as well as beach volleyball and football courts

The only small downside is that the indoor pool, open during the colder months, is unfortunately not heated

A special thank you to the waitresses Georgia and Antigoni, who were serving our section. Besides being professional and extremely efficient, just like the rest of the staff, they always had a smile on their faces

As in many parts of the island, toilet paper cannot be flushed in the WC. Finally, we would like to sincerely thank Ms. Fani from the Guest Experience Team, who made us feel like part of the family

The resort also offers mini golf, a bocce court, table football, table tennis, a games room and an entertainment program with activities for both adults and children scheduled throughout the day

This is an antiquated and ridiculous rule that needs to be changed ASAP. Special mention also to Nikki at the pool bar who was utterly fantastic- a really caring individual who loves her job a was a joy to be around

The food here is good but my one definite complaint is the ridiculous rule about MEN ONLY have to wear shoes at dinner…utterly ludicrous you have a room full of men in gym shoes rather than some smart sandals

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Iberostar Creta Marine. From start to finish, everything was fantastic — the atmosphere, the food, the staff, and the service

This rule is discriminatory as women are allowed sandals and flip flops at dinner. On a warm evening having to wear shoes just ruined my dining experience

A very special mention to Ellie from Guest Relations, who was truly amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible

Just hope I can wear sandals at dinner next time

First this Hotel makes it clear that it is on the side of a hill and not suitable for people with walking difficulties. That being said I must make it clear that it is an extremely step and very of steps everywhere

Service all round fantastic, great rooms, great food choices especially the Taverna and A La Carte both of which, despite being included in the all inclusive package, I would happily have paid extra for

I will simply list my observations and allow you to see the pros and cons regarding this Hotel. It is a very beautiful Hotel 2. There are lots of space and some facilities 5

6, The all inclusive is only from 10am to 11pm, the hotel info says the pool bars are open from 10am until 11pm, but the active bar closes when the pool closes

There is only toilets in the basement area under receiption, so a bit of a distance from the dining room, At the Lower pool bar and at the beach bar

30 PM ( I need good coffee in the morning, not at night ! ) - Not enough space for sunbeds, very cramped place at the beach - 5* official status means 15 euros tax per room per day, it'd be 10 with 4*, which would fit better - When I asked for check-out one hour later than usual, an exaggerated 80 euros sum was required (and politely declined

Amazing hotel and experience start to finish. Chloe, Joanna and Alesandro on the entertainment team were amazing. The bar staff were exceptional by the pool and in the evening

On the negative: - Standard rooms are a bit too small - Lack of storage space - Insufficient illumination in the bathroom - Several broken sunshades at the east pool - 0

Georgia at the hotel bar, made me feel equally welcome The room was perfect! Overlooking the sea. Just wonderful Facilities, perfect! Used the gym, and spa. Both pools great with superb views

Evening entertainment was great. Joanne & Alessandro worked really hard keeping on top of their schedual. Pool area and beach was kept clean with staff keeping us hydrated

Around the pools and on the beach the staff would come and take drinks orders and deliver them to us. A big shout out to Manwella who was just amazing
