Hotels with heated pool in Crete

The facilities are great but many people still used towels to reserve sunbeds even though the resort states towels will be removed (they were not). We traveled in October half term and were very lucky with the wether

The restaurants offer something for everyone, from delicious local dishes to international favourites, all cooked to perfection. The pools are crystal-clear and plentiful, so there’s always a perfect spot to relax

The staff at the Enomy main buffet restaurant were mostly okay but many staff were rude or not attentive at all (we sat waiting for cutlery and to be asked our drinks order for ages and then had to try and find someone)

We had an absolutely amazing holiday at Creta Maris! 🌞 The resort exceeded every expectation — beautifully designed, spotless, and full of charm

The resort was beautiful and well maintained. If you want any drinks with American liquor there us an upcharge.

The tennis courts were great and facilities for children also enjoyable

There are 5 swimming pools, including a mini waterpark for children, making the resort perfect for families, fully reflecting the SOL by Meliá brand standards

The hotel beach is clean and well equipped, with sunbeds and umbrellas included, as well as beach volleyball and football courts

The only small downside is that the indoor pool, open during the colder months, is unfortunately not heated

A special thank you to the waitresses Georgia and Antigoni, who were serving our section. Besides being professional and extremely efficient, just like the rest of the staff, they always had a smile on their faces

As in many parts of the island, toilet paper cannot be flushed in the WC. Finally, we would like to sincerely thank Ms. Fani from the Guest Experience Team, who made us feel like part of the family

The resort also offers mini golf, a bocce court, table football, table tennis, a games room and an entertainment program with activities for both adults and children scheduled throughout the day

We played tennis and spent most of the time around pools (there were 5 pools in the resort)

The room was great and cleaned everyday. The food on the buffet was so nice and the view from the hotel was breathtaking. Not one bad word to say. Great visit from start to finish.

Unique and vastly expansive property. It was so large that there was a whole other pool and another beach we didn’t even discover until the night before our last day

Rooms were comfortable and air conditioned. Get a room with a private pool in it. Those rooms are centrally located in the resort and well worth it

A taxi from the airport to the resort was about 30 min and 45 Euros. I recommend coordinating with the resort to schedule your pickup prior to your arrival. Staff was excellent and accommodating

The pool areas are small and there were not enough sunbeds and often 'reserved' by selfish people who think it's ok to do this and not turn up for hours despite a sign saying it was forbidden

You don't have leave the pool for eating drinking. At Sunday I got a cultural evening with cretan dance group

Just got bk frm staying at the blue sea beach hotel with our friends. Fantastic holiday frm start to finish. The staff were Amazing couldn't do enough for you. They were all so friendly and made our stay so enjoyable

Thankyou for making it special for us! Special mention to the staff who despite us being delayed and arriving at gone 1 am, they had lemon juice, and cool towels ready for us

We stayed at this hotel for the second year in a row. Great good hotel! Very varied food. Clean and quiet hotel, comfortable beds. There are many restaurants and souvenir shops near the hotel

Some rooms have pools that you pay extra for but please be aware if you pay for 1 the hotel should be opposite way round because the sun hits the door going into the room and doesn’t really hit the pools to warm them enough to use

Anyone visiting this hotel will not be disappointed. Food good location excellent,Cocktails /drinks really good. Hopefully will be returning in a couple of yrs

Unfortunately, hotel guests "reserve" the sunbeds in the morning, so it often happened that although there was no one in the pools and around them, we still couldn't find a free sunbed

The sea-view rooms are spacious and have a kitchenette. Their terraces open onto the hotel's beach or a small fishing port. There are also rooms overlooking the pools or the main road or in quieter corners of the hotel

We were worried as we booked there for the water park but on jet 2 looking into it they were keeping the park open with the rest of the resort shutting

We were moved from the village resort to the beach resort due to being under subscribed at the end of the season

Fine print though states both resorts have to pay extra for the water park at €15 per person

The staff is polite, helpful, and friendly. The service includes breakfast and all-inclusive. The breakfast buffet offers a range of dishes in line with general European trends, supplemented by a few Greek specialties

Our kids absolutely loved the pool – we could hardly get them out of it! The buffet food was always fresh and delicious

A magnificent location with excellent service. The hotel staff is very courteous and serviced. A pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It is highly recommended to take a room with a private pool

A Truly Amazing Stay – Like Paradise! We’ve just returned from an incredible stay at this hotel as a family of four from Scotland, and we’re already missing it! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm, friendly smiles from the staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful or welcoming

Their kindness made a wonderful first impression and set the tone for the rest of our stay. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully maintained, with stunning views that made it feel like a slice of paradise

If we could suggest one small improvement, it would be to add themed nights for a bit more variety – but honestly, we were more than happy with the quality and selection each day

This was our favorite place to stay on our two week trip around Greece. The hotel itself is beautiful and very clean. The room was amazing also and the bathroom was very nice

TUI, I do think you’re missing a trick with a pool part for teenage kids as the resort is massive and you need to do is add the signs and you’re done. 👍🏻 overall a decent place if you have young children

Amazing hotel in a great location. Beautiful and clean, nothing too much trouble. The staff were really helpful and the rooms well equipped with everything you need

All inclusive includes a fridge of drinks which are refilled each day including fizzy drinks, water and beer. Sunbeds were a little difficult to get around adult pools mid-September but not a major issue

Certainly lives up to its 5* rating. Thoroughly clean & cleanliness maintained in all aspects of the complex. Excellent quality bed linen & bathroom towels

Every evening he brought us excellent drinks and was always so nice and friendly! The cats in the Hotel also were very friendly and nice! 🐱 The Jacuzzi was not heated, unfortunately, even though they said so

All food was presented impeccably, freshly prepared, presented & cooked. High standard of food presented was maintained throughout holiday. All staff were welcoming, very friendly & professional

Possibly the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The facilities and the grounds are exquisite and the staff are above and beyond. The restaurant serves some of the most delicious food I have ever eaten.

We didn't eat lunch or dinner at the hotel. It's true that the hotel is set into the hillside and for some people this may be an issue, but the buggy service is readily available if needed

) and Elounda about a 40 minute walk - fine during the day, but probably not to be recommended in the dark as pavement missing in places. We wouldn't hesitate to stay at Phaea Blue again if we returned to the area

We didn't really use the beach, but there looked to be plenty of sun loungers. The beach is big pebbles so would recommend taking rubber shoes for getting in and out of the water

Think there is a pier too with steps for easier access for swimming. I did note the sunshades are fixed and quite small, but I guess most people wouldn't be bothered by this

After two wonderful stays in 2025, we've already booked for 2026. We can't wait to return to this resort. For us, it's one of the most beautiful in the Mediterranean (…and we've stayed at many others)

Food was very diversified - everybody could find something delicious to eat. Beautiful place with well-kept gardens and swimming pools. I'd a lovely, bright and big apartment with impressing view

A very very special hotel, with special staff and very special facilities. The food is exceptional, the drinks options fantastic and the upgrades in report for 2026 are total quality

There was multiple activities provided by the entertainment team daily for example aqua bikes, aqua gym and lots of ball games. The entertainment team spoke multiple languages such as French, Spanish and English

A calm location and relaxing atmosphere, spotless through out

The hotel itself was very nice — clean, comfortable, and in a great location. However, we did feel that English guests weren’t treated as warmly as others

The staff cannot do too much for their guests. Stavros found me a walking stick to use on my trip to Knossos as my knees at the age of 73 can be a little weak. The food was very good but it’s the staff who are unbeatable

Wonderful location, 2 minutes to the beach. Excellent services and competent staffs. Food was delicious as well, and cats will stare at you when you eat. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel, clean team Cody with fresh towels, comfortable loungers by the pool, pool was always spotless. Buffet food was a good standard but did get a bit repetitive

Desserts same every mealtime just different colours and often still partially frozen. Other guests said food was a lot better than the previous years. Not sure why you would repeat visit if food not good

The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. Plenty of variety at every meal time

Because of the geography, the hotel is built on a slope and therefore consists of a series of levels connected by a series of confusing stairs and lifts. Also confusing is the absence of a pool bar (lovely pool)

All staff were friendly and the hotel was spotless. Easy walking distance to either the port or the opposite direction to another beach. All local restaurants we tried were excellent with again lovely views

Bali Diamond is a fabulous hotel right on the beach. We had a sea view room with a stunning view, this did mean a lot of stairs to get there but it was worth it! There are lifts if you need them though

Psarapoula taverna is next door and Mambos taverna an easy stroll, anywhere else will require an uphill hike but that's Bali

This Is Such A Gem Of A Hotel. Its Positioning Right on the beach. Again A Fantastic Stay At This Wonderful Hotel

No the wonderful Stella on reception checked me in,looked after my luggage and allowed me to take full advantage of the All Inclusive facilities. Even though my room wouldn't be ready foe afew hours

The swimming pool was nice even if we didnt use much as we preferred going to the beach. The hotel offers a shuttle bus to the nearest beach in Agia Pelagia

great accommodation would defo stay again, however location not the best as had to get expensive taxis to heraklion & activities etc. would recommend if you are a chill couple or small family holiday!

only bad thing was the tiny room showers and no amenities in the room. met chrissey too (owner) whom was lovely and chatty. Thank you for a lovely stay overall!

Everything was wonderful the view, the food, the drinks, the service. Cant rate this little hidden gem of a hotel

I'm fussy, but all they served was mainly ok,but pretty large portions. Till 11 am to 7 pm you can get your drinks from the pool bar, in the evenings from reciption until 10pm

Just returned from a 15-day holiday at Hotel Ilios Chersonissos, together with my daughter. It is not a modern hotel, but everything you need is there and it is very clean

The swimming pool is also nice, and Nancy, the barmaid by the pool, is cheerful and very helpful. All in all, this hotel is highly recommended

The reception staff, Ada and Lone, among others, are super friendly and helpful. For those who do not speak English, Lone is a godsend; she is Dutch and incredibly friendly and helpful

Nothing is too much trouble for them; they are always there for you. The restaurant staff is also extremely friendly

Very limited AI , pool bar was still closed , we have been promised daily that it will open the next day. AI drinks include beer, raki ,ouzo and brandy, local soft drinks. No gin or vodka or anything else like that

Our first time in Crete and we stayed at Kaissa Beach. Very nice for kids ,helpful and friendly staff ,plenty oft space for sunbathing round the pool , and good prices for cocktails at nicht

The bad points: Towels changed only once a week , bedding not changed at all, cleaning staff really horrible, food absolutely the same every day (although hot meals are not bad at all)

We stayed a week at Kaissa Beach, we were pleasantly surprised the hotel has recently been refurbished and looks better in person than the photos

Hotel is old and you can see that not a lot has been spend on maintenance. There is no option of double bed. There are always two single beds put together. Bathrooms are dated but clean. Some rooms have unpleasant smell

There is a local cockerel waking up just after 4 am every day, neighborhood dog that barks most of the day and night but when it's quiet you can hear waves and crickets. All together you getting what you have paid for

We spent 7 days at Santa Helena beach in 2024, 13/7–20/7. The hotel is very clean, architecture is nice and we had a 2 room ground floor apartment with a terrace to the pool area and evening sun

Good and free sun beds both at the pool at the beach (if you buy from the bar which is easy) The restaurant has a good variation of easier snacks, excellent pizza and burritos and good dinner dishes

Very high quality food in the buffet. Nice pools with plenty of free beds. Bus to chania stops right outside dor 2. Not safe to cross the road for kids! But that's not the hotels fault

Staying at the resort was excellent, and the service was on point. The food was great, but staying by the pool and getting served drinks was a whole experience

Decent sized pools, could be abit bigger though. The actual location is not the best, its just okay. Kinda on the outskirts from the city centre. The actual beach is also not really a beach

It has a public swimming pool and a bar. You can play billiards at the bar. Mini fridge to cool off your drinks

Accomodation is in good location, not far from the center but in quiet place. Pool was really clean and equipment in good condition. Georgia is really nice host and all our requirements were fulfilled with smile on face

The hotel is great! The food is good, everything is very clean, and the staff are friendly. The spa area is also highly recommended. I had a back and neck massage with Chrysa and it was fantastic

So overall its definetly 5/5 for me, although there is one thing i really have to add here as it really surprised me at such a nice hotel: The loudness of the shows in the evening

I had 2 massages at Aegeo spas. Kallia gives very good massages in a beautiful atmosphere.

Excellent service and care with a delighfully relaxing experience. Breakfast and the evening meal buffet options were the perfect bookends to each day.

The fact that there were a lot of feedback loops caused by the loudness and the general setup of the monitors didnt make it better

She knew exactly what she was doing and it was very pleasant

Another highlight was the swimming pool, which was very clean and inviting, perfect for spending some quiet time during the day

I had the most relaxing experience and my masseuse was absolutely incredible. Her name is Zorina and she was so good at checking in on me and asking if I preferred anything

The location of this hotel is very convenient, close to beaches and local attractions. At the same time, it felt quiet and relaxing. The room was well kept and the atmosphere around the hotel was calm and pleasant.

There's a ton of activities to do both at the hotel and nearby, and so many options for dining (we loved Sumosan, Old Mill, and Greek Opa night). Even the room service was consistently very good

Our family holiday at Elounda Peninsula Luxury Resort was honestly a dream from start to finish. From the moment we arrived, my husband, our two girls, and I felt completely looked after

It was gorgeous—spacious, comfortable, and came with a heated private pool overlooking the most beautiful bay with crystal-clear water. Waking up to that view every morning felt unreal

We spent so much time in the pool, it was just perfect. Our girls also loved the kids club. The team there were brilliant—super kind, fun, and full of great activities each day

Lovely sandy beach with a grassy shore and plenty of well-maintained sunbeds. We enjoyed sunbathing and swimming there every day. However the dining options were very poor

Excellent suite (a beachfront junior suite with private pool). It was spacious and well-furnished, with a sitting are inside and table and chairs and loungers outside

Of all the places I've been fortunate to visit, this is the first time I've booked a return-for October 2025. I can thoroughly reccommend it to anyone, sinles, couples and families too wont be disappointed

Beautiful apartment walking distance to all amenities - shops, restaurants, bars. Free car park for those who hire a car to see the amazing island of Crete. Staff accommodating, nothing was to much trouble

There seems to be a real team spirit amongst the staff, who are all great and do everything they can to make your stay enjoyable

We have stayed at the Trefon many times and are always welcomed like old friends. The hotel is very well managed, very well maintained and very clean
