Cretan Dream Resort and Spa in Kato Stalos

We had a wonderful stay! The view of the Cretan Sea was absolutely stunning, and our room was very clean and comfortable. The pools were beautiful and refreshing, a perfect way to relax. We had dinner at the bar on two nights and truly enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The location was also ideal—very close to Chania Airport and just a short trip to the Old Harbor Town. Would definitely stay here again!

Early April it was pretty quiet both at the hotel and in the area, which was nice. Service at the hotel was very friendly and helpful! Food at the restaurant was extremely good, highly recommend trying the a la carte. Very nice experience!

Room was very clean and spacious. The facilities are modern and the pool overlooking the sea is amazing with stunning views. The hotel is a little out of town which is great to avoid the hustle and bustle but does require a taxi or a short walk from the end of the bus line. We would stay here again.

The facilities are a bit old, the dinner is very good, the beach water is very clear, but it is not the hotel's private beach, you need to cross a road. Crossing the road is a bit dangerous, and a little honey was given when leaving the hotel, which is very good!

This is a really lovely hotel, probably one of the best we've ever stayed in. Everything is spotlessly clean and well maintained and staff are always working hard to keep it so. The staff are unfailingly helpful, polite and friendly. When we arrived we were met at the entrance and helped with our bags then given two bottles of cold water whilst we waited to be checked in; we were then briefly shown around and taken to our room.

We had a lovely luxury room (522), with a seating area, which was frontline and had a wonderful view of the sea; this did however also mean it was frontline to the very busy road. We didn't ask to try and move rooms because we did love the sea view. Whilst we did get used to the road noise I have to be honest and say it did bother us. I'm sure in many parts of the hotel you would hardly be aware of it. Our bed was changed every few days and towels daily.

The swimming pool area was really nice with plenty of very comfortable sunbeds that had wheels at the back so were easy to move around. Strict hotel policy of not saving sunbeds early in the morning before 10 a.m., belongings/towels would be removed and put in reception. Beach/pool towels are provided for a deposit which you get back at the end of your stay.

We had B&B, breakfast was always very relaxed with plenty of seating outside and a good choice of food for all tastes. We didn't eat in the hotel in the evening but food that we saw always looked really good. We had lunch at the hotel several times and this was always very good, we also enjoyed a few cocktails in the evenings. The prices in the hotel were very reasonable and the little on site shop wasn't any more expensive than the local supermarkets and had a good range of essentials.

The hotel was fully booked on the day we left and no late check out was available but this wasn't a problem as there is a luggage store and showering facilities in the foyer. Reception even give you a clean towel to use, so this was all really convenient. We had a relaxing day by the pool, a late lunch, showered and went off to the airport.

If we were talking about just the hotel we would go back there without any hesitation as we had a lovely stay, but we weren't keen on the busy road running through everything and so on balance we wouldn't return.

Great location. Hotel is wonderful. Can’t rate it enough! Some of the rooms could do with a little work here and there, such as some chipping to clothes cupboard. Our pool lights didn’t work, it on the whole this is a great venue and had a great holiday. Definitely going back.

Staff and food are wonderful!

Couple of nights there was entertainment which was good. One evening there was an astronomer with a telescope who was so knowledgable and interesting - I could have stayed all night listen and looking at the moon, Saturn and star clusters though the telescope.

Very satisfied! Friendly service, beach is just outside, and the restaurant is delicious

This Hotel was Amazing.
The facility was great, it had a nice open concept and the pool area was great.
The room was also great, modern with a nice bathroom and the deck with the plunge pool was fantastic.
Great service, all the staff were very polite and Petros (Australian owner) was fantastic - he took care of all our needs and gave us great advice on where to go.
The location was also great - about a 15 minute drive to old Chania, right near the water and drivable to all the main beaches.

Highly recommend.
