The facilities are very good and whether by one of the pools or on the beach front all your needs are catered for. The entertainment is varied, and there are always a couple of choices to choose from

ARB is a great family beach featuring a lot of great amenities. It has a sweet children’s club. From 1-3 there is a small daily fee, then from 4 and up, it is free

But on the other had, the pools were really great and so was the new water park. The toilets were too few and a bit far from the beach. There's a small shop inside with essentials and reasonably priced

As an advice- coffee at breakfast could be improved (in some areas coffee was ok and in some areas absolutely not). In general we are very satisfied and grateful! Thank you, Aquila Rethymna Beach😊!

There was a good selection of food and everything tasted great. Dining experience was top notch. The beach is a combo of sand and pebbles. Unfortunately there are also bigger rocks

Overall it was a lovely holiday. The hotel is clean and the location is brilliant - on the beach and only 10 minutes from the old town. The sea view room was clean but basic - maybe a little dated

The rooms are spread on the hillside, so you walk a while from the main building to the room

Unfortunately, there are too many flaws. It definitely needs some remodeling, and the hotel has a lot of flaws in general. The food was okay, but I think more fish and Greek cuisine in general should be offered

The beach has plenty of sunbeds and a bar, and the beach restaurant serves good food. We would definitely stay at this hotel again

We had our honeymoon from 20-27. 09 and everything was wonderful. The food, the beach, the staff attitude and the restaurants. We received an upgraded room and a late check-out because of delayed flight for free

Wonderful Stay at Out Of The Blue Resort My family and I recently stayed 4 days in the hotel and had an amazing experience. The hotel beach(s) and pools are perfect, with 2 water slides for the kids fun

That‘s the best hotel I know!! everything was perfect, I loved the food. There was a big buffet, so there was something for everybody. The location was so wonderful, the hotel was near the beach

Hotel is on a peninsula by itself so you are a bus ride away from a town with bars and tavernas. There are plenty of pools in the hotel grounds and you have access to the beach and safe swimming areas

If you want to visit local towns etc prepare to travel for long periods time. Hotel offers all you need to have a relaxing, stress free holiday. Views amazing where ever you put your sunbed

Main pool can feel busy, but does have activities going on through the day. So we went to the Phaethon bar with pool. Which was quieter but still busy. Great if you sporty lots to do too

we had our Honeymoon in this hotel and happened to have my wife's birthday. The hotel manager sent us a birthday cake and bubble wine as gifts

A cool place with excellent vibes, music and attractions for the entire family. The service is awesome in the beach bars

I must write specifically the cheff Giorgos Skoulikaris and su cheff Manouiswho assisted us greatly with Gluten free dishes for our kid

Ever time we asked for a dish we got it, even if they had to go out of their way to prepare. They were absolutely superb and we are sure to take that into consideration next year when we look for a place to vacate

Nice location to the beach, staff were friendly. Hotel does look tired in some areas and food was average.

Awesome place Fantastisk hotell. It was like staying in a little village, they had everything inside the perimeter. shops, outdoor activities, playgrounds pools for the kids. Beautiful view to the sunset/sunrise

The pools were the perfect temp, and lots of pools with loads of loungers. Never a problem getting them in the morning. We liked the pool by the beach and the restaurant here is great for breakfast and dinner

Great for families, the hotel has lot of attractions for children. The beach and pool areas are organized and good infra structure. Food is also very good, served in three restaurants. Rooms are comfortable.

Fantastic family friendly hotel with a beautiful beach! We've visited Pilot Beach Resort two years in a row with our very young children (1 and 3 years old) and it's been a wonderful experience both times

The variety of food for kids is fantastic, although I wish they had boiled vegetables in the buffet options (like in all the other restaurants). The staff is wonderful, always friendly and accommodating to families

The buffet options at all the restaurants are excellent. The appetizers and main courses are always well-prepared and there’s something for everyone. However, for the desserts, only a few really stood out

We had a pleasant stay in a generously designed resort right on the coast. We appreciated the beautiful beach, which was never crowded, plenty of sun loungers and parasols, and the beautiful large swimming pools.

I did a treatment with the therapist Marina and she was fantastic! She was professional and caring and I will recommend her It was a very pleasant time in Aegeo spas in Kalimera Kriti with Marina

Aegea spar. It was my first time getting a massage. The staff were very nice making the experience relaxing . Chrysa did a great job with a deep tissue massage and has helped with my tight muscles 💪🏼

We visited the sport centre for some paddle and regular tennis. My son used the hotel's gym and was very happy with the equipment. We also visited the water park at Lyttos Beach and this was great for an hour or so

I attended a couple massage in the spa of lyttos mare the specialist were Anneta and Kinstantina the overall experience was very professional and good from the clean setting of the room to the gentle ambient music the experience itself was very relaxing balancing gentle and harder touch while the specialist constanty checking if everything is OK (but not in an annoying way) overall highly recommended

The production was captivating, the actors were incredibly talented, and the staging and costumes were stunning. Every moment was filled with creativity, humor, and charm

You can access the sister hotel Lyttos beach and use their facilities such as the Olympic pool, waterpark, lyttopia, and see the entertainment each night (quizzes, bingo, performances & DJ nights) so there was plenty to do

Lovely hotel, just back from a week's holiday with my family. The rooms were a bit on the small side with not much storage but we managed

We came as a family of 4 with a 4 year old and 3 month old. The hotel is decent for a family break. Pools and slides very good for the kids and for an all inclusive the food wasn’t too bad although repetitive

Got to the room, and the bathroom was left in a disgusting state by whoever was before us, toilet and shower etc… dirty towels all over the bathroom still. No one had even changed towels in between family’s

We arrived at reception for the room to be told we’d have to wait for another 3 family’s to use it first. Not great with young children when you’ve been promised you wouldn’t have to wait

Anyway we waited… when it was our turn I asked would towels be up there and was told yes of course

Receptionist eventually sent a cleaner to sort it out but we obviously had to wait for this so wasted probably an hour and half in total messing about just to have a quick shower before transfer

We enjoyed relaxing around the main pool area on very comfy loungers and the lovely sandy beach is just in front of the Hotel. Entertainment was really good with something different on each evening

But what stood out most, were the staff! At breakfast, Maria and Sofia would always greet us with a warm smile and such genuine hospitality - they truly started our day off right! For lunch, we were served by Evalina and Aida - who were so incredibly kind, helpful, and generous to us and our little boys

And we adored them, too! The entire staff were remarkable - not a single negative experience - but these 6 stood out the most for, not only being so helpful and welcoming, but allowing their authentically kind personalities to shine through

Last day of our 1 week holiday today so thought I would write a review to praise the amazing staff at Arina Beach. We stayed in the maisonette with pool

Plenty to choose from The beach is one of the best I've ever visited, very sandy and slow sloping - ideal for small kids

Even if there are waves at the main beach there's another smaller beach nearby that has virtually no waves

Just returned from a week here and it was amazing! Absolutely beautiful place with the best views! All staff work really hard and are so friendly, they all made an effort to speak to my children and made them feel special! Both my children went to the kids club and we actually couldn’t keep them away! Special shout out to Lara & Michele in the kids club they were brilliant with my hyper kids and...

Stayed with wife and my 3 years old daughter. Everything was great, we got a bit earlier to the hotel but we got our room earlier as well (at about 12 PM) Rooms are nice and are cleaned daily

There were 3 sunbeds allocated to each maisonette so a bit tricky if all residents wanted to use them (as we were a family of 5) but it wasn't really a problem. POSITIVES: - The food was incredible

Fantastic stay. Stunning location. Loved cocktails in the lobby bar. All inclusive food and wine very good, included cocktails disappointing but Spritz’s in the lobby bar were terrific. Lovely views from all aspects.

I will definitely also recommend a session at the spa for an amazing massage of your preference. Overall an amazing experience, were memories and friendships were forged. Can’t wait to go back next year!

We had a great few days here with family. Such a beautiful location surrounded by amazing views. All inclusive food was great, a good variety that changed daily

The pool areas are small and there were not enough sunbeds and often 'reserved' by selfish people who think it's ok to do this and not turn up for hours despite a sign saying it was forbidden

So we ended up spendng most of our time at the nearby psaromoura beach which is very pebbly but not packed but had to pay 25 euros for a brolly and 2 sunbeds

The hotel were not interested in enforcing this and we witnessed several rows between guests over sunbeds

Everything OK, but the main restaurant food was rather average and repetitive. Staff we very nice with decent service. Beach, with rocks so not easy to swim

The best hotel I've ever been to. The staff are welcoming and attentive. The hotel is sublime. It's a feast for the eyes. The atmosphere is great. I highly recommend it.

i would have liked more entertainment ( during the day and night) so i could come next time with my teenagers kids next time, but this is what make this place extra quiet

We are currently at the hotel and loving it! Starting with the good part (actually the excellent part): Almost everything is nothing less than perfect, and I have keen eyes to problmetic items The service, the cleanliness, the pools, the dozen bars, the food

Main dining room water dispenser is very far, so it will be closer to the pool, but an additional one closer to the internal sitting space would significantly help Otherwise this is an amazing hotel and would greatly recommend to every family!

All are amazing! Few things i would recommend changing though: 1. Most important for us: Omelettes and scrambled eggs are based on some terrible egg liquid. It has awful taste and even more terrible aftertaste

The wooden doors are old and have problematic locks. My spouse got locked for few minutes in the toilettes near the main dining room until was able to get out 4. Rooms are dull from design point of view

Only slight negative is that a big point is made about not tolerating sun bed hogging but in reality nothing is done so don’t promote what isn’t acted upon

The pool area was kept clean and tidy but got extremely busy with people reserving sunbeds, we chose the beach as less hectic and loved the drinks service to the sunbeds

What an excellent hotel, the staff were all amazing. The room we had (125E) was exceptional, clean and comfy with no issues with storage. The only thing was no kettle but not a problem as I always take my own

We had a sea view room which was so comfortable and the bed was huge! The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We were here at the start of the season and not much was open which suited us as we wanted a relaxing holiday

Just as long as you realise in some countries a lot in fact what’s classed as a 5 star abroad that it would equal 4 stare maybe 4 abd half although the beach resort are above a 5 in someways but not in others

The restaurant was lovely with plenty of choice and good quality. The staff were lovely and remembered where you preferred to sit. All in all an excellent hotel which i would highly recommend

Location Location is great 5 minute walk from the beach and the ***** with several supermarkets only 2 minutes away

The overall condition of the hotel was good with comfy sunbeds and it was all kept clean, the hotel reception area is dated, I think they may be going for the rustic style but personally I think it just felt dated

To give you and idea of the charges a massage and jacuzzi session for 2 had a special discount price of 189€! The pool area was very quiet, there wasn't much in terms of atmosphere, people kept themselves to themselves, there was some background music from the pool bar and an aqua aerobics class a couple of times a week that seems popular, but on the whole day times were slow and quiet

Don't be tricked by the hotel having Spa in its name, there is a spa connected to the hotel but none of the facilities are available unless you pay a lot extra, you expect to pay extra for treatments and massages, but in previous stays at other hotels I have been to you get to use facilities like the jacuzzi and sauna as part of you booking, not here

The themed evenings were a highlight, especially the Latin Music Nights and Greek folk dancing. These evenings were not only entertaining but also gave us insight into the local culture

Let me explain, in hotels I've scored higher previously, you get a good night and good morning from reception when walking past, here there was none of that, we stayed here for 10 nights and had the same drinks almost all the time, at other hotels the staff remember you and your order here this just didn't happen

Easily the best hotel/resort we have ever stayed at. We had our wedding at Amirandes and also stayed for a few nights. The whole wedding planning process was seamless thanks to their professional staff

Amirandes has an outstanding architecture and nice sea access. Katharina from reception did an outstanding job in sorting a view things out for us, super fast, nice and always customer first

The sides also have pergolas to partially shade the pool. The salt water is not heated but honestly it's ideal for swimming. The exterior architecture is among the best I've seen in hotels

This is a decent hotel and we very much enjoyed our stay here. The 50 metre rectangular pool is a real highlight. Unlike many hotels, this is a proper pool suitable for lap swimming

Our first disappointment was the receptionist who could not be bothered to give us 100% of his attention during check-in; he was on the phone for a third of it, spent another third asking people behind us in line why they were here to see if he could have some "quick win" fixes and ended the check-in by speed running all the instructions of our stay and the resort map

These rushed explanations led to the misunderstanding of where to eat and what was included in the half-baked where the serving staff was much more well-mannered and even offered the two wines we ordered without knowing we would be paying for it

The glass showers do not fully close or the stairs are to work to be efficient leading to spilling and wet floors; also the drain cover is loose and flow is slow resulting in a piece of plastic floating around

The buffet was well furnished with various options of meats, fish, salads, sides and desserts. Although there are vegetarian options, they are clearly less varied and refined

hile spacious and with a kitchenette, there are many shortcomings and defects that make it seem like a cheap hotel room as opposed to the luxury resort it is trying to be

So far, the experience is 50/50 but the reason I am making my review so early in my stay is due to something that won't change in our time here, the sub-par room

Let’s start of with the room, we stayed in one of the villas in the resort, situated on the end of the cove away from the restaurants and main reception area, which I rather enjoyed as we were away from the hustle and bustle of the bars and night entertainment

To get around the resort you use the golf buggy system or the funicular system. The golf buggy drivers were so friendly especially manos who was so good with my son

Daios cove, or as I may say a cove of dreams. My family and I stayed here during the end of July to early August and this resort is absolutely exceptional

The only issue I would say in the room is the ants, if you leave any sort of food out of the fridge (even unopened) they will make there way in, and in the bin too

However, I would like to highlight the excellent service from Sarah and her colleague at the Beach Bar, they were always friendly and attentive. The buffet was very complete, with many options

The views of the cove are absolutely phenomenal and the sea is pristine and clear. Without a doubt, this is one of the best hotels I have stayed in, in Greece
