Annema Hotel in Monemvasia

The hotel is well situated. The views are amazing. The swimming pool and the sea are good for swimming and lounging. Make sure to stargaze at the swimming deck in the sea at night! Staff are nice hard working people.

The location gets 5 stars. Right by the sea with a lovely deck so you can go swimming. The disappointment was breakfast. Of course there was the difficulty of Covid with no self-serve buffet allowed, but what we were served was poor (some slices of white bread along with little packets of jam, butter, honey), white toast with ham and cheese, a thin omelette and a pancake with chocolate spread, yogurt with honey on one of the days). There was no choice whatsoever, you were not asked for example if you would prefer white or brown bread, or do you want ham in your toast...). No fruit or vegetables were served either.
