Pool: Pool
Friendly and helpful staff food to an acceptable standard nice pool area with sunbeds. Really enjoying my time here.
We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a great experience! A special shout-out to Veronika at the Pergola bar – she’s always smiling, friendly, and provides excellent service
The only real downside was the number of people – it gets very crowded, and you have to wake up early to reserve a sunbed by the pool. That was a bit inconvenient, but overall, we had a wonderful stay
A wonderfully large selection of food to suit everyone's taste for every mealtime, cooked to perfection and very well presented. Plenty to do with pool time games or just chillout by one of the quieter areas
Plenty of sunbeds so no fighting required. Whole of the outside areas are very well maintained and lovely to sit and relax with pleasing views. At night all lite with lights to enhance every area
There is so much choice with the food and its delicious. We went out for the day and the staff made us a packed lunch to take with us cause we wouldn't be back in time, that was a nice touch
Very close to everything, clean rooms, friendly reception, great pool and even a greater bartender! Elias served us pretty much everyday with enthusiasm, always friendly, overall great service
The hotel was clean and offered good value for money. We got a great price during the winter season. It's located in the city center, making it convenient to get around, and is right next to the beach
Classic hotel, a bit "tired" but cozy and clean. Very nice person working in the evening.
The staff provided excellent service; we were impressed with everything
Amazing hotel with super comfortable and spacious rooms. Beds are super nice, very luxurious bathroom. Corner room has a super large wrap around balcony
Good value for money. Spacious rooms. Great location.
Great hotel. My 3rd stay Great staff, great room ,great breakfast. What more to say. Only slight drawback was the square basin plug, which you can't actually 'plug' also could do with more storage cupboards for cloths.
Everything is spotless and well maintained, creating a relaxing and comfortable environment
Overall, Acandia Hotel delivers exceptional comfort, service, and food, and we would happily return. Special praises to Georgia the bartender who helped me to propose to my fiance and Elina the receptionist
The staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were tidy, the hotel itself was very clean. Was very happy with the location as I felt I was right next to everything I needed for those couple days
Came to Rhodes for the first time aswell as being my first solo holiday and I couldn't have picked a better hotel. For the price, everything was just fantastic
The staff truly stand out — friendly, professional, and always willing to help with a smile, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay
After a very uncomfortable night due to the heat, I mentioned my concerns to the front desk and was told that that particular room doesn’t have working AC due to the external company switching it off out of season (very odd) and that someone would check the shower drainage
However, I was moved to one of their newly renovated rooms at no extra cost which was great customer service and the room was perfect - working AC, lovely shower and bathroom, very comfortable bed, tea and coffee facilities
Exactly what I thought I had booked initially. If this room move hadn’t happened my review would have been 2 stars. The breakfast that was included was excellent - buffet style, lots of choice, hot and cold drinks
Very nice hotel close to the sea. We stayed in the room before the renovation, but it had everything we needed. The room was cleaned daily, towels changed on average every two to three days
I stayed at Athena Hotel for 3 nights in October 2025. I was initially allocated a room with no working AC, a shower that flooded the entire bathroom floor and no coffee or kettle facilities
There is a spacious pool, with sufficient lounge chairs. They offer a small but very nice menu of food you can order, make great cocktails and offer lots of other drinks. The breakfast isn't very interesting but okay
The pool area was clean, well maintained, and had great vibes. Overall, it was a great experience. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back again
The staff were all very nice, helpful, and friendly, and the breakfast area felt welcoming and cozy. The food was good, though I expected a bit more variety in the breakfast selection
Unfortunately, we couldn’t extend our stay because the hotel was fully booked for the next night — which probably says a lot about how popular it is even in october!
The beach is near, 2min walk but it wasn't the greatest beach. There is a supermarket in the hotel which is very convenient. Pool is nice and the cabanas were comfy
We were very satisfied with our stay! The price was great for the quality of the room — definitely good value for money
We didn’t book a room with a pool, but to our surprise, there was one right at the end of our balcony, which was such a pleasant bonus
Another big pool at the rear of this building, which continued the classy feel to the hotel. Very impressed by visual looks
Lovely staff, very helpfull. Great location! Highly recommended!
Nice hotel with great View!
Lovely stay with friendly and helpful staff. Exceptional view of the sea and the old ruins. Nice pool area with separate pools for adults and children. Only a 10-minute walk to the White Town
The hotel was clean and amenities were what we expected. Location was close to the main area of Lindos for dinner and shopping, and the kids loved the pool. Food was good and breakfast had a wide variety of options
This was wonderful hotel conveniently located in walking distance to Lindos. The pool was great and the rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The hotel staff was great.
Fabulous friendly staff.
Great position of the hotel within walking distance of Lindos town and beaches. Comfortable sunbeds. Good breakfast choices.
The hotel offered a superior sea view room at a very reasonable price, which turned out to be well worth it. The superior room on the fifth floor had a genuinely lovely view and felt brighter and calmer overall
We had a very good Lunch (Burger and Club Sandwich) for a fair price
We originally booked a standard sea view room. There was nothing actually wrong with it, it just felt dated in that familiar Greek hotel way where everything works but has clearly seen many, many, many summers
The room was spacious and clean, we even had a surprise - decorations and complimentary sparkling wine. The location of the hotel is perfect - right in front of Elli beach and 15 minute walk from the Old town
Certainly not the worst we’ve stayed in. Because one of us has a recent knee injury, the standard room bathtub shower quickly revealed itself as a terrible idea waiting to happen, so we asked about upgrading
There are many restaurants and bars nearby. The breakfast was also nice with many options to choose from, including some Greek traditional food. We had a great holiday and we cannot wait to come back 🫶
They are the most hardworking, kind and welcoming people ever and they will always make time to get to know guests and to make sure that everyone is happy and having a good time whilst also ensuring to keep everyone entertained whether it is the pool activities during the day, the entertainment for kids or the evening entertainment such as the movie quiz (I was very competitive)
They also arranged nights out with the guests to Faliraki or Rhodos and these were the best nights out I have ever been on! It's definitely a good way to get to know people and to just have a great time with these amazing people! They were that amazing that we have already booked to go back before the season ends in October just so we can see these girls again! The food is definitely something that...
We had stayed here for a week last year and it is amazing to see how much the place has changed in a year! All I can say is trust your gut and do not rely on reviews as I found a lot of them to be a lot different to my own personal experience here! The best addition to this hotel I would say is the animation team
They also had a barbecue on the Sunday but again we did not use this as we decided to use that day to do some exploring of the island since that was the Animation teams day off
Alena, Barbara and Magda are hands down some of the MOST amazing girls I have ever met and I can say with my whole heart that we have truly made friends for life with them
They also had the opportunity for the alacarte restaurant just outside next to the villas but unfortunately we did not use this during our stay
I stayed on a B&B board basis and the breakfast offer was excellent, there’s something for everyone. If you like me you enjoy swimming, the pool is a good size with lots of loungers around it
The staff are all so courteous and friendly, especially Nadia, Katarina, Marina and the girls from the Elia pool bar/restaurant. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from the photos
Breakfast is to be praised for choice and quality. All the staff in every area of the hotel were cheery and helpful. Bar area is lovely as is the Pool bar
We ate in the new restaurant one evening. Thank you everyone and the revew would not be complete without a mention to Peppinio one of the owners dogs who was around a lot but impeccably behaved and a pure delight
We were in Room 624 which was a cave like room with beautiful domed ceiling with sparkly lights. We had a jacuzzi bath but only used the shower. Very private balcony and in room plenty of storage and a sofa
If you are looking for a intimate, characterful hotel, providing excellent service by very pleasant staff with typically Greek style rooms and superb meals, this little gem of a hotel is a must for you
There are fun activities at the pool every day, both for children and for adults, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. The food is varied, fresh, and delicious, offering something for everyone
I highly recommend this hotel! The staff is exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to help with anything you need. The rooms are cleaned daily, and towels are changed every other day
Out trip was amazing we loved it here all the staff were fantastic
We stayed in 316 over looking the pool with a fabulous view behind
They change the towels only if you insist, the room is cleaned once every 7 days, and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned at all during that time. For a 4* hotel, the service should be much better
The animation crew and restaurant staff were out of this world and really work there socks off ,
The cleaners made your rooms very tidy everyday
My partner and I had an amazing two week holiday thanks to evita
Thanks so much for a fantastic holiday
Love brian and Janine xx
Great staff great atmosphere really enjoyed our stay there and we will be going back again later in the season
The hotel itself has a laid-back atmosphere and a convenient location, making it easy to enjoy both the pool and the surrounding area
Hotel was clean throughout, room service tried to clean daily (bar one day) so long as the ‘Do not disturb’ sign wasn’t on your room door. Pools were cleaned daily with a special pool cleaning robot
Awful, loud banging euro pop/ Greek radio blaring out from morning till 11pm in the poolside area (where the communal space is)which also made you want to move asap! At dinner there was the same rubbish music in the dining hall too
In our opinion, if you’re not the kind of person who is extremely picky, you can have a really nice holiday here. For us, it was exactly what we were looking for: simple, relaxing, and enjoyable
The staff were very nice, welcoming, and always willing to help, which really added to the stay. The food was also good, with enough choice each day to find something we liked
It’s not the most luxurious place you’ll find, but that’s also part of the charm — it delivers what it promises without overcomplicating things
Family of 8 adults stayed 1 week in September. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean as is the pool and bar area. Breakfast is great with plenty of choice
We stayed at Matoula Beach for a week in early October. Initially we were allocated a very small room. When we mentioned this to reception, we were transferred to a lovely spacious pool view room
This year we stayed bed & breakfast and we had some delicious meals in the nearby tavernas, there are at least 3 very nearby
Just returned from 2 weeks at Matoula Beach and what a fantastic holiday. Staff here were so lovely and helpful. Decking around the pool and garden area
Could do with more suitable music by the pool for the age group, another toaster and coffee machine at breakfast and more comfortable beds, but staff were all friendly and helpful (bar one) and location was great for us
We were B&B and the breakfast was really good, everything you wanted. Again the staff in the restaurant were all so nice and bar staff. the bar are is good with plenty of seating, the pool area is great
Positives Plenty of space and not too busy Gyros and pizza served throughout the day these were really nice Great water park we spent most of our time on the lazy river Friendly staff and helpful Nice little on site shop Nice hotel room Rooms cleaned daily and fresh towels provided Shampoo and body wash available in the room for use
Pleasent hotel, with comfy rooms, fine food and nice water slides and pools. Starting with basics - room was specious enough, comfortable, with large bed. Bathroom may use some refreshment, but nothing to complain about
The three different swimming areas are amazing and kept very clean. We could always find sunbeds too which was a bonus
Delicious pitas served between meels. Very good, polite and smiling service at bars. Great kudos to animation team! In many other hotels animations are cringe, but here we really enjoyed the shows and games
I have stayed over the weekend, with my husband. It was an amazing experience as the room was superb, clean and very comfortable with our private pool. The restaurant was also amazing and specially the staff
Reaching the beach requires few minutes walk and nearest beach is rather dirty, so we prefered to stay by the pools
Great hotel, beach, swimming pool. Good servis. Very nice and very clean rooms. Adults only.
What a wonderful and pretty hotel with perfect and friendly service! The rooms are in a perfect shape, very clean. The hotel is perfectly located at the beach and very close to the historical old-town of Rhodos
Great 5 star hotel an the heart of Rhodes. Almost 100 years old luxury hotel at the heart of Rhodes. Great breakfast served to your table. The best thing about this hotel was the helpful and friendly staff
We stayed in a suite (room 306) which is huge and has a great sea view. The staff were very nice and helpful
Great location and big comfortable rooms. Also nice breakfast…
The hotel is excellent and the staff always helpful and friendly. This is my first choice hotel whenever I stay in Rhodes town.
We stayed towards the end of the season, and it was perfect — the weather was still lovely, warm, and sunny, but the resort was quieter, making it ideal for a relaxing getaway
Clean linen and towels every day which is more than required but appreciated. All staff are friendly, attentive and professional. But the towel policy was no enforced while I stayed there
We had a wonderful stay at Lindia Thalassa in Pefkos! Our room had the most incredible sea view — it truly made our holiday so special
Great mid price hotel with probably the most friendly staff we've ever had in a holiday hotel ( apart from a very miserable girl serving at the pool bar )
Do yourself a favour and walk round to Kavos beach further round the bay to the left ( you can go over the rocks and through the trees or its easy to actually walk along the edge of the sea - it doesn't get deeper than mid thigh)
The setting was peaceful and beautifully maintained, and we loved waking up to the sound of the waves every morning
A beautiful small hotel away from the crowds of Lindos but within walking distance of the town and very close to the bus station. The pool and garden were beautifully kept and with plenty of sunbeds
Beautiful and comfortable hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Pool could have been warmer! Everything was really clean and anything you need us provided. Didn’t use the spa facilities but they looked good
About 20 mins walk into Lindos village and beach - easy downhill on the way there, uphill on the way back but taxis easy to get for about €5. Supermarket 5mins from hotel. Lots of lovely rooftop tavernas in Lindos
The room was spacious and spotless. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The evening menu was a little limited but it was easy enough to walk into Lindos if you wanted something different
Would certainly recommend if you want a quiet, relaxing stay
Not really a spa hotel as appointments have to be made days in advance and even then in middle of day to accommodate travelling therapists
Rhodes, Kolimbia, PARISSION STR. KOLYMBIA, Kolymbia, 85103, Greece 🧭 Map
Pool: Pool, Heated pool, Rooftop pool
Located in Kolimbia, 1.7 km from Tsambika Beach, KOLYMBIA SKY HOTEL provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a bar.
Great staff and lovely view from the extremely windy balcony. Good location. Shirt walk into town. Only downside was pool didn't open till 10. Room a bit dated but bathroom was modern and room very clean
Perfect base for exploring Rhodes clean basic rooms breakfast was very good fantastic staff excellent location 10 minute walk to the old town and harbour and less than a minute to the beach had a fab 10 day break
Close to the beach, the port and the Medieval old city. The room had a kitchenette which was pretty convenient. The stuff was friendly and helpful. However the inernet was slow and the wifi disconnected constantly
I was scared by the reviews but I found a situation better than what I’ve read! We stayed there with a baby of 4 and during the night I never heard a voice and we had a room on the sixth floor side sea view
Would be nice if the pool was open longer than 6pm. Also, dilute the chlorine before adding it to the pool :) A poor group still sitting beside the pool got a cloud of chlorine dust on them when the guy added the powder
Friendly staff at hotel, pool is great, clean, comfy loungers and great bar and excellent prices, gyros and chips 4€ and one of best we had as was the orange juice but be cautious the pool has a lot of young adults which is fine and we didn't mind but big groups of young friends can be very loud and boisterous so don't think I'd take young children there
30pm, not 22:00
- Construction noise from next door building site
- Photos on website didn’t look like reality
- dirty room (stained sheets, old towels, dirt laced around plug hole)
- no WiFi in rooms - only available in reception
- Limited sunbeds around the pool
Swimming shoes, swimming glasses, souvenirs, water, snacks, toothbrush etc. 4 minutes away on foot there is also a market where you can buy other needed stuff. The beach is really close so thats another benefit
Everyone from the staff is helpful, kind and caring. The owner is a really friendly, helpful and kind man. Barmans also are great and after a week we became like brothers from another mothers
Kolymbia village nearby so you can go and buy souvenirs, try local food etc without a problem. Also there is a small shop in the hotel where you can buy everything you need eg
Highly recommend, there was nothing we could complain about after one week of staying there ! :)
Room was old and dated with a very old AC unit
Pros:
- Friendly staff
- Excellent buffet breakfast
- Food at restaurant was tasty
Cons:
- Room was old and dated
- Very hot room as A/C was rubbish
