Unforgettable Stay in Desiterra Santorini! Greece 🌟
I had the pleasure of staying at this incredible resort in Santorini for two days, and I can honestly say it exceeded every expectation. Having worked for The Ritz-Carlton and with a background in Hospitality Management as an Operations Manager, I have high standards when it comes to service and quality but this place truly goes beyond 5 stars.
From the moment we arrived, the driver greeted us with warmth and professionalism, setting the tone for a perfect stay. The front desk staff MIKE and his coworker were exceptional friendly, efficient, and always ready to assist with a genuine smile.
A special mention to PEMBA,the spa therapist her skills and care made my spa experience absolutely rejuvenating. SANDESH, our restaurant server, was outstanding attentive, courteous, and made every meal a memorable experience. The chef deserves huge appreciation for the amazing food everything was delicious, beautifully presented, and perfectly clean.
The housekeeping team also did an excellent job keeping our room spotless and comfortable. Every corner of this resort reflects attention to detail and genuine passion for hospitality.
The property itself is breathtaking with a beautiful landscape, stunning views, and an atmosphere that feels peaceful yet luxurious.
I can confidently say this resort deserves not just 5 stars, but more. If you’re planning a trip to Greece, Santorini, I promise you this is the place to stay.

My husband and I stayed here for two weeks. Our room was very clean and spacious. The outdoor patio area with pool was lovely. The food was fantastic for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Sandesh and Pemba who work in the restaurant were amazing. They were alway smiling, accommodating, and very hard working! The driver for the hotel, Argyris was great! He is super friendly and funny! Everyone at the hotel made you feel like family. I hope to return to this secluded peaceful gem by the sea.

Bathroom floor not clean tho, Bathroom drain problem and ants came in after crumbs fell on floor in kitchen area

Beautiful property. The staff is amazing, very helpful in booking our excursions and transportation. The food at the restaurant was fresh and tasty. Great place for relaxation and sea views. Nice villa, clean and spacious. 10/10

We stayed in a Honeymoon villa with private pool in mid October and it was perfection! The villa was beautiful with stunning views, kitchenette, 2 lounge areas, desk/workspace, king bed, private toilet and sit down vanity area. The outdoor space included our private pool, outdoor dining set and two chaise lounge chairs.
The breakfast was outstanding! We opted for the floating breakfast and it was incredible! Staff were friendly and efficient.
We would highly recommend this hotel!
They also have an on site shuttle van than can be booked in advanced to take you to your chosen destination (with flat rate fees laid out and charged to your room).
Communication was flawless through what's app for all needs from shuttle to booking spa/gym and ordering meals.
We cannot wait to return! Thank you to all the lovely staff.

My husband and I spent 11 days at this resort. While its location is a little out of the way it’s only a few kilometres from Fira the main town in Santorini. The facilities are to a very high standard and our bungalow was clean and spacious. The only drawback was that the self catering facilities were limited. There was a hob and fridge in the house but no microwave or oven.

We had breakfast in the restaurant every morning. The food was excellent and a lot of attention was paid to its presentation. The staff were very attentive and service was excellent. The only change we would suggest was that the menu was a little too egg centric and a few lower calorie options would have been good. Evening meals were of fine dining standard, clearly the chef here knows what they are doing. All in all this restaurant is top class.

All the other resort staff were equally helpful and supportive from the reception staff to the handyman and the shuttle bus driver. They were happpy to take time to advise us of excursions and other activities during our stay.

We are very happy to recommend this resort to those who want a high quality resort a little away from the hustle and bustle of Fira at rates that are very competitive compared to the caldera side complexes. Love to return 😊😊

Our stay here was truly enjoyable. We were picked up from the airport by a private shuttle and welcomed in style. The staff were all friendly and extremely helpful, making our entire experience worthwhile. The restaurant waiters did a fantastic job—every meal was absolutely delicious. The rooms were clean and exactly as described. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

This was our second visit to Desiterra, the site is excellent just as they were last year, staff are fantastic and the spa was bloody lovely! We had a couples massage and it was well worth it.

Superb service from everyone and bloody lovely part of the island because it’s quiet and you can enjoy a beautiful sunrise!

The man who runs the restaurant and bar Sandesh is bloody excellent. Breakfast has a great selection on the menu for everyone. Lunch and dinner options are also great, but we explored a lot more of the island this time round so ate out most days.

Room was clean, tidy, and well kitted out. 100% recommend and we will probably go back again!

Nice resort in Santorini. Its located on the East side of the island, which is nice and quiet comparatively to the main cities. If you plan on staying here and want to go into the cities at all, I would highly recommend renting a car, as taxis/transportation is very expensive. Then driving is very challenging with 20% grades, narrow roads and very congested traffic. Although the resort is beautiful, location can be tricky. We had our own private pool which was lovely but chilly. Hotel restaurant is very yummy (but pricey, with hardly no other options close by). You get 2 large bottles of water when you first arrive, then otherwise you have to buy more (and you can't drink the tap water). I was hoping from a 5 star resort to at least have drinkable water every single day included. Overall beautiful resort and the staff are amazing, but factor in distance from amenities and be ready to walk uphill everywhere.

The property is cozy, welcoming, and charming. I felt completely comfortable and relaxed. I highly recommend staying here!
