Gaia Suites in Oia

Dimitri was amazingly responsive & helpful! We had a fantastic 2 night stay here. The only downfall is I Would NOT recommend for anyone with any mobility issues due to the amount of walking required to get to the rooms & the cobblestone steep stairs. The amount of cats that hovered around our deck was a little off putting especially when they peed on our floor. We are allergic so not our favorite thing! In all fairness, I think that was everywhere on Santorini…..the room & beds were very comfortable & the staff & service was top notch. We loved being in our hot tub watching the sunrise & sunset both days!

We informed the hotel that we wouldn't be able to have breakfast due to an early flight, and they kindly allowed us to have an early check-in.

Above all, the location is superb. It's situated right in the center of Oia, with a great view of the Blue Domes. We even used it for a professional photoshoot with a different company, so you can be sure the view is absolutely stunning.

While not a major issue, the lighting in the indoor jacuzzi was quite dim, and we needed to use a smartphone light if we wanted to use it at night.

Also, there were many cats around. This was a charming benefit for us, but for others, it's worth noting that you might find cat droppings, and if you open the window, you may notice a slight odor. Those who are sensitive to this should keep it in mind.

Canvas Suite in Oia offers a fantastic location with breathtaking sea views from the rooftop terrace. The manager is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home. Although it's a bit of a walk from the bus stop, the stunning surroundings and warm hospitality make it well worth the effort.

We contacted the hotel to arrange for pickup at the pier. The hotel staff was already waiting at the drop-off point and helped with the transportation to the room, which was located on the edge of the cliff and required climbing up and down a flight of stairs. The hotel is right in the center of Oia, and it is very convenient to go to various check-in spots. The breakfast was delivered a little late, it seemed to be a takeaway from nearby, and not very rich. There is a heated massage bathtub in the room, which is very private and enjoyable. When checking out, the staff arrived on time to help move the luggage to the street. If I find a good price, I would recommend it.

The function of the facilities was not worked.

The balcony overlooked the white cityscape, and it was the best view. It's in the center, so you can enjoy sightseeing! Breakfast is brought to your room, so you can eat it wherever you like. There is no pool, but the view from the balcony was great, so I was satisfied!

The price of the hotel is a little more expensive, but the service is excellent and the scenery is great. It is really a pleasure to enjoy the beautiful scenery in the private swimming pool in the room. The disadvantage is that you have to walk up a lot of stairs, which is a problem faced by everyone living in the mountains.

Dimitris was the best!! The staff is good looking! I wiill come back again.
