Infinity Suites and Dana Villas in Firostefani

My wife and I stayed here during the first week of April 2025. It was the week right before the official "tourist season" kicked off, so while you could see the island and the staff busy with final preparations, it never once detracted from our stay. If anything, it felt like we had a front-row seat to the island waking up.

The Room & Views The views are, quite frankly, unbeatable. The infinity pool was a little chilly in the evening given the April air, but it was so "lush" and pristine that we couldn't resist. Looking out over the caldera from the pool at sunset is a memory I’ll keep forever.

The Breakfast (The Absolute Highlight!) The included breakfast served right to our room was incredible. Every morning felt like a feast. We particularly loved:

The Savory: Perfectly poached eggs over smashed avocado and smoked salmon.

The Sweet: Fluffy pancakes drizzled with chocolate and topped with fresh strawberries, plus those delicious Greek pastries/spanakopita.

The Extras: Freshly squeezed orange juice, creamy yogurt with berries, and even hot chocolate. The quality was top-notch, and eating it on our private terrace was the highlight of each day.

Service & Communication The staff were so friendly and hospitable, helped with the luggage from roadside to the suite. They manage requests and breakfast orders via WhatsApp, which was super efficient. I was glad I had my tablet with me to handle the messaging and look at the menus easily.

Location & Logistics The location is great—about a 15-minute walk up into the main town of Fira. Just a heads-up: be prepared for the stairs! There are a lot of them to get down to the suites and back up to the road, but honestly, that is just the authentic Santorini experience. It’s the price you pay for those world-class views!

Was looking for a hotel with the best views and amenities to start our honeymoon and we couldn’t have chosen a better hotel. We got a room upgrade to the master suite with two private pools. Waking up to a view of skaros rock and the cliff was more than we could ask for. Every morning we had breakfast with the same view, and even some days we decided to come back to the room early to enjoy the view instead of going out. We loved Fira over Oia just cause it was a little less crowded and service and location of Dana Villas has made it 10x better.

This is a great 4 star hotel. For Santorini, it’s as good as you’ll find. Amazing views. The stairs to get in and out are a workout but they have porters who carry your luggage over their shoulders! Location is great for Firostefani and it’s a nice well lit walk into Fira (but it does take at least 20 minutes). Breakfast is à la carte with an OK selection, coffee is terrible though. Rooms need some modernization.

We loved our stay here!!!! We stayed it in Honeymoon cave pool villa and it was beautiful! I didn’t want to leave our room. The staff were friendly and helpful, they took our bags up and down the stairs. We had the best view over the ocean and of the sunsets. The location was great - we could park our ATV in the main car park across the main road and it was super close to a number of restaurants. It was about a 10-15 minute walk into the main town, a lovely path where you can look at the views!

The breakfast was fantastic and the staff very attentive!

Some things were ageing or not working in the (amazing) cave apartment itself - but nothing major, and to be fair we were staying there late in the year / out of season (after a hugely busy peak summer period) but for us, the minimal crowds made the whole Santorini experience all the better :) more importantly, the Villa staff and overall service - plus the amazing location/ views?!.... - more than made up for it.

Would definitely recommend and would love to return, if not for another early / late season visit then when we've saved up enough!

Stayed here in 2015 for a friends wedding amazing apartment and suits! Staff so helpful and friendly and the swimming pool jacuzzi has amazing views! Best place for relaxation or just nice romantic escape!

The staff was amazing from the time we arrived and carried our luggage over their backs down several flights of stairs to changing our excursions due to weather changes. The staff is the BEST and the rooms and view is amazing! The walk to downtown Thera along the Caldera is beautiful and makes you feel like you can eat extra since you are getting a workout at the same time. The food here and everywhere we went in Thera was amazing!! I would highly recommend this place. We will definitely be back!
