The window opens to a beautiful mountain view with a small garden. The breakfast yogurt with honey is delicious. There are many varieties, most of which are freshly made. The chirping of insects and birds is very rustic. The faucets and shower facilities in the bathroom are old and need to be updated.

I could have stayed here forever! The hotel has the most idyllic view. It is spotlessly clean all of the time. The owners and staff are all very polite and helpful. Breakfast is adequate, fine if you are not expecting a full English. Pool great. Yes there is a steep incline to get to the hotel but 100% worth it for the view. Short walk either into town or to the beach.

I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Aeton Malathron in Trikala! The hospitality was top-notch, and the staff made me feel very welcome. The hotel is located outside the downtown of Trikala, thus one should definitely have a car, if he/she wants to move swiftly from the city centre and the hotel. We are currently staying at the Ionia, it's immaculately clean, friendly attentive staff, great location, the rooms are basic but well looked after, only thing missing is being able to make a cuppa, skopelos is beautiful island and we couldn't have picked a better place to stay for the price, well done Ionia love it 🥰

Good basic hotel Basic hotel, but overall it was quite good. Good for a couple night stays, felt safe because you could lock the room from the inside with a key. I cannot say enough good about the staff. We had planned on staying 2 nights but a massive rainstorm flooded the area and we could not get leave the hotel. A great hotel with an outstanding location between Portagia and Makrinitsa. We were impressed by the warm family and their team. The hotel is recommended for families, as there is a very large and cozy lobby, as well as a great "playroom". So you can also relax there without always having to be in your room or on the move.

We stayed in August 2023 for 2 nights, as wd were last minute and we could not find more. Very spatious apartment for a family of 4 with kitchen, with double view - sea and garden, well located near the beach, restaurants and public parking, but in a quiet area. Changed sheets and cleaning room every day. Guys at the reception very helpful.

The room was on the ground floor and quite clean. The kitchen was adequately equipped, the only minus was the small mugs. The bathroom was quite spacious and clean. Unfortunately there was no shower curtain or screen so the floor got quite wet and dangerously slippery with just one shower. Another set of bath towel racks would also help. The room was quite clean and would have been even more so if there were screens on the windows and we didn't find dead mosquitoes and flies everywhere. We stayed in a room on the ground floor with no view and the water from the automatic watering system was constantly dripping on the balcony! The positive thing is that the sea is opposite and the area is suitable for family holidays.
