Very welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough for you. Rooms had everything you need including a kettle and mini fridge and were kept very clean throughout my stay.

Being a 2-star hotel, don't expect luxury, but the rooms are clean and serviced daily. Location is probably one of the best in Skiathos town and is at street level opposite the new port. Views from your balcony are fantastic!

I have just returned from a week's holiday staying at the Hotel Akti in Skiathos town. My room was clean and comfortable with extra pillows and bedding if needed. There was free wifi and air conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. From the balcony with table and chairs, the view over the port was excellent. There are lots of restaurants and tavernas offering a wide variety of cuisines, all within walking distance as is the harbour from which numerous boat trips are available. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We absolutely loved our 9 night stay in the cottage situated in the lovely garden of Villa Ella, a beautiful, friendly, well run establishment close to the bus route, beach, tavernas and cafes. The main house has more conventional rooms. Villa Ella is also within walking distance to the town(chora)- about 10-15 minute easy walk- either along the beach or just behind the beach between houses and hotels. Eugenio, who runs the Villa on behalf of his Mom, does an incredible job keeping the garden looking magnificent, being always available to give advice to his guests and looking after every other detail of the Villa. Our room was always kept clean by his staff. And having a fridge, electric cooking plate, utensils etc. made for wonderful breakfast overlooking the garden and ocean. The bed was super comfortable and so were the cushions. Nice set of drawers and adequate hanging space behind a curtain. Small bathroom, adequate.

After searching through lots, we are so glad we booked this lovely hotel. The location is fantastic, room comfy & clean, views amazing (overlooking the port) and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be returning again in the future!

We spent the week here and enjoyed the holiday very much. As we say in the U.K., it does what it says on the tin. Our room was kept spotless by a lovely maid, the bed was comfortable, the shower great and the facilities spot on. Our balcony overlooked the harbour as booked, it was a joy to sit and people watch there. All the staff were very helpful, like carrying the suitcase up to the room, and went out of their way to please. So polite and understanding. The location of the hotel for us was perfect, a short flat walk to town and all the shops, bars and restaurants. Thanks to everyone for making our holiday so memorable.

We had breakfast here. The food was fine, quite average, but the service made the difference. The waitress was really kind, funny and very pleasant. She definitely made our visit much nicer:)

overall very nice hotel with amazing location and view of the harbour , renovated and clean , but it is a not value for money choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is kind .

We visit the place to eat, pancake and a Caesars salad. The tastes were below good.
2 stars just only for the waitress that is working almost alone, people waiting to order and the stuff is chilling, drinking and don’t pay attention to the customers.

I recently found myself unexpectedly staying at Hotel Meltemi due to a weather advisory that prevented my water taxi from traveling to Skopelos. What could have been a stressful situation turned into a surprisingly pleasant experience thanks to this gem of a hotel.

From the moment I arrived, the Maria at the front desk made me feel welcome and taken care of. The accommodations were clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable. The room was quaint and all I needed. The level of service was outstanding, efficient and genuinely friendly. The pricing felt reasonable and fair, which is rare when you’re in a bind like this.

Maria at the front desk deserves special mention for her incredible hospitality and helpfulness. She went above and beyond to ensure my stay was smooth, offering recommendations and assistance with a cheerful and professional attitude.

The location is perfect for anyone needing proximity to both the port and the airport. Should I ever need to stay in Skiathos again, Hotel Meltemi would be my first choice without hesitation. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling through the area, whether for convenience or by chance like I was!
