This hotel was one of the best we've stayed in, very clean, well-presented and friendly staff always willing to help, the rooms were cleaned daily, and fresh towels every other day, great food, fairly good drink selection ( but could do with some flavoured gins) they have a large selection of wines and even have a glass-fronted wine cellar

Lovely pool with sunbeds, Bala beds two large round beds, loads of outside tables and chairs In the shade for a welcome break from the sun

Special mention to Vaso not only did she keep our room immaculate but found time for the occasional chat and joke, no mean feat considering my limited Greek and her limited English. Would definitely return to this hotel

The food was very good, plenty of choice at breakfast and the meals in the Crazy Cow were very tasty if a little nouvelle cuisine. ALL the hard working staff were very friendly and helpful - Thank You

We had a superior room with a view of the hills. There was also a view of the car park and nearby road

This didn't present any problems for us with regards to traffic noise but if you are a Very light sleeper then maybe not for you. There is a very large pool with a pleasant seating area

It is spotlessly clean, fabulous location especially if you like watching the planes coming in! Breakfast location is beautiful on rooftop terrace overlooking the new harbour. Booking again for next year

We stayed here for our 30th wedding anniversary and loved it so much we’ve booked to go back for our 31st!!! Anna and the team looked after us so well

Wow what an amazing place staff were so helpful and breakfast was amazing so much choice staff certainly put the hours in hotel was spotless special thanks to Anna,Christopher,vasilis,Harris,Alexandre and pomtelis we can't wait to come back if I had any negative would be sun beds around pool unless you want to get one at 5pm you be very lucky

Lovely hotel, location absolutely ideal for the harbour and bus "station". Breakfast buffet is outstanding. We stayed in a ground floor room but would recommend a higher floor at the front for best views of the harbour

The Continental Breakfast bar was incredible with its selection of hot and cold to pick from. The view from here was stunning and the staff were very good at setting up fresh tables ready for guests

Stayed at the Alkyon Hotel in Skiathos Town for a week and could not praise it enough. The bedrooms are large and looked after by the staff every day and included a change of towels etc

Have just returned from a lovely holiday staying at Skiathos Living. We had a very clean, 2 floored apartment. The staff are very friendly and helpful and provide a delicious breakfast, brought to the room each morning

The pool area is peaceful with a wonderful view of the town and sea

One thing to note is that the hotel is up some steep steps but so is most of the accommodation in Skiathos so something to note if you have mobility issues and are thinking of visiting the island

The holiday was with TUI which didn’t mention lofts and steep stairs in the room description so beware The room was very dated and basic without a kettle The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have ever slept in each day waking up aching and tired The staff were very friendly and did their best but overall the accommodation needs upgrading

There are quite a few steep steps on entry to this property, the staff were attentative in helping me with my luggage on arrival and departure

Absolutely loved our stay here! Staff were brilliant, especially the two guys who helped with our bags. Room was spacious and the view from our balcony was amazing

I cannot give this hotel enough credit. The staff was so helpfull and the rooms are very clean and cozy. Right in the town center on Papadiamantis street.

Comfortable room. Welcoming and thoughtful manager (Alex), and I enjoyed our peaceful balcony room in the tree tops. Central location.

Excellent location, right in the centre of town, on the pedestrian street and close to the restaurants, cafes and shops

The hotel is being refurbished soon, we were told and we hope this issue will be resolved in the design of the shower enclosure because otherwise, we thought the hotel was an ideal place to stay as well as brilliant value for money and we would stay here again

I stayed in one of their suites which was beautifully appointed and very clean. Alex and Panos were always available with great advice and they made you feel instantly at home. Very highly recommended.

Very convenient to the bus station which I used to visit the various beautiful beaches. My room had a kitchenette area so I was able to get food from local store and keep in mini frigerator for my convenience

Me & my girlfriend wanted an affordable, clean place to sleep within walking distance of the town as we planned to spend our time out & about exploring different beaches, tavernas and eateries etc

There is that “feeling like home” that only dedication and enthusiasm of the staff can make you experience. So many things are renovated since our last visit, including the pool area. Spotless clean, best location.

Best time to go would be 1st October when everything was open. The property is next to a junior school and quite noisy at playtime, also a local children’s play park is at the back of the pool can get noisy with music

We are just back from a great stay at the villas last week. Location was perfect, short distance from the town centre big central to the island itself. Great facilities in the villa, big, clean, outdoor space

Pool and rooms are cleaned daily to a great standard. The staff service provided was next to none, very accommodating. Collected us from the airport and advised food places open as we arrived late evening

It was an amazing, relaxing short break, and only 15 minute transfer from the airport (collection is free if you book the villas directly). Huge recommendation from us, we'd love to come back soon

We were on our honeymoon and the place was perfect. The beach was just outside and the place was clean and beautiful. Staff was very helpful and arranged what we needed

The hotel is just 15 minutes walk to Skiathos town and less than 10 minutes walk down to the beach. The hotel has a lovely pool and deck area, as well as a well stocked 'honesty' bar, which works well

Such an easy 15 minutes walk to Skiathos town and less than 10 minutes walk to the beach. Highly recommended and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit to Skiathos

Great bar and the Thai food is fabulous. We have just returned from a wonderful 2 weeks in Skiathos, staying at Hotel Rene and we have thoroughly enjoyed our time there

and you must sample Mod's Thai menu, which is superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Rene and will certainly stay there again on our next trip to Skiathos

The hotel is centrally located, about 10 minutes walk from the port and within close proximity to fabulous restaurants and shops, but the pool area is lovely and quiet, and even in August, didn't feel hectic

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff and management - we had a room upgrade half way through our stay - any reservations or recommendations for dinner we asked for were booked efficiently by the front desk team, the bar staff and servers were incredibly helpful, just nothing, nothing at all phased any of the team at any time - they were incredible

Excellent service, very down to earth and we felt so well looked after - they even made a delicious soup when I had a stomach bug! Breakfast was fantastic (including the coffee), well varied with a really good selection to suit all tastes, whether you wanted to opt for a healthy start, or go all out, including local produce

The cafe bar, The Lobby, is open to the public as well as hotel guests. The prices re reasonable and the drinks and food are of a very high standard. Overall a great stay, made all the more so by the superb staff

Dimitris Agiotis and his team are outstanding in every way. Staying with them for a week in June - was like basking in a private members club with all the perks and none of the attitude! It was sheer bliss

We got to stay on the third floor so we had a wonderful view of the town and ocean! The stairs are also completely manageable for those with big suitcases but definitely not for those who may be handicapped in some way

The rooms were so nice with lots of room and great sheets, towels, decor, etc. Would highly recommend this place! The reception is not available all the time in person but were very attentive whenever we called them

I was able to leave my luggage while I waited for our boat to arrive and they allowed us to check in early. The stairs are a bit steep so if you have mobility issues this might be a concern

They cleaned the room daily and every two days provided clean towels. My only complaints are, staff are around until 4 pm, there’s no phone in the room nor a bathroom in the main lobby

We stayed only to have breakfast, really nice restaurant in center position, really tasty breakfast food and also the juices. Overall really nice experience.

Good location central to all amenities, airport and taxis. Level access from street to reception and to the lift.

Nice, clean, soundproof rooms with view of the harbor. Breakfast a la carte, tasty with local flavor. However, the greatest asset of the hotel, is the really helpful, polite and professional employees!

Wonderful place, owner present, available and hospitable. Simple room but with attention to detail. View from the terrace on the sea phenomenal! Possibility to eat in the room given the presence of everything necessary

The owner Babis is a lovely and friendly man who even invited me to have a drink with him on a couple of evenings which I thought was really nice of him. Hope to stay here again some day

There is invariably someone on site, so arriving and departing is easy, and, should advice be needed there is someone to help. Babis (the owner) arranged horse riding, and Airport transfers for us

Babis was so lovely the place was very clean and always had fresh sheets and towels,the views were stunning everything we could of asked for! Will definitely come back to this beautiful place,with the friendliest cats and dogs!

I have returned to Villa Kavourakia several times, with family and with friends, both as a holiday on Skiathos, and as a convenient place to make an overnight stop when visiting Skopelos and Alonissos

A gem of a place to stay! Whilst being very quiet and private, it is within walking distance of a small supermarket, bus stop, beautiful beaches, some with water sports including SCUBA diving

Absolutely perfect. Wonderful service, spotless rooms, comfy beds. Right in the centre of skiathos. Breakfast was across from the hotel in the little cafe. We really enjoyed our stay.

This is a basic but spotlessly clean hotel. We just stayed one night on our way back from Skopelos. Its central location is great and the hosts very welcoming and friendly.

Good location in the city centre. Welcoming staff. A bit pricey for what you get, but this applies to most of the island unfortunately.

It is a lovely place with a super helpful owner. The room with a nice balcony is sparkling clean, very comfortable, well lit, with an air-conditioning that works perfectly

The location of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is very nice. But, the internet was not working at all during the 5 days we were there. Also, one of the chairs on our balcony was broken

The room we had was great! Very clean and cosy with electric shutters , very good hairdryer , nice towels! Close to Papadiamanti street which is one of the most crowded streets of the island , without being disturbed by any noise

Located in a side street not far from the center of Skiathos, it ensures tranquility at night. The room is spacious, clean and equipped with air conditioning and fridge

Just back from a week at this lovely hotel. Akis and his family were warm and welcoming. We had a top floor room with a sea view. Room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Free toiletries, safe and air conditioning

There was plenty of variety for breakfast, this was self service and filled up constantly. Located very close to bus stop 0, handy for visiting the other resorts but still close with everything town has to offer

We were shown to a small room overlooking the garden and no balcony which was'nt what we wanted. However the guy ( sorry forget his name ) agreed we should have a balcony and bigger room for a two week stay

We were offered a choice between two others and plumped for a room at the front of the hotel. Even though we were overlooking the main busy road coming into port , the noise never bothered us

We spent one week at Elsa’s last year and unfortunately we experienced heavy rain and one of the biggest floods in Greece … Elsa took care of us when there was no electricity and we didn’t have any food or water in our room ♥️♥️♥️ Highly recommend !!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Elsa Hotel, it was a nice start of our honeymoon! Elsa and the staff are very nice, smiling and already know what kind of coffee you drink on the second day of your stay and make you feel at home :) It is located on a ring road but close to the city

We had a great 4 night stay here. The hotel is well located on the ring road close to the bus stop 2 and just a 10 minute walk to town. Our room was comfortable with a great bathroom and balcony overlooking the pool

The pool bar was a lovely spot to chill with reasonably priced drinks. We really enjoyed the white wine. All the staff there were very friendly and super helpful. We would definitely stay here again 👌🏼

In the most central part of the island. The room was clean but the towels were not changed during the 4 days/3 nights that we had. The owner is very kind, friendly and helpful! Fair value for money

Being a 2-star hotel, don't expect luxury, but the rooms are clean and serviced daily. Location is probably one of the best in Skiathos town and is at street level opposite the new port

We were pleased with everything: - large, clean, good-looking room - two luggage stands - comfortable beds - everything in working order - daily cleaning of room, without being obtrusive - frequent changing of towels and of bed sheets - great location - less than 15 minutes away from the port, 3 minutes away from the beautiful city streets, 5 minutes away from the closest bus station - kind and helpful...
