This hotel was set in a very beautiful scenic spot with views from every room looking out over the ocean and main town. It’s not too big so doesn’t have that overwhelming feeling of a big crowd. Just had 2 weeks at Punta hotel (19th sept to 3rd Oct) Dimitri and his lovely wife Vivienne manage this hotel excellently and proudly. We chose this hotel as our Honeymoon destination. We were not disappointed. The staff were attentive, kind and always willing to go above and beyond. When we arrived we were surprisingly upgraded to the maisonette which had two levels both en-suite and jacuzzi at lower level. Monica on reception couldn’t have been more helpful nothing too much trouble. The hotel is situated 5 minutes from a beautiful beach and the sea is crystal clear and shallow a fair way out. We had a fantastic stay at the Magic Hotel. The staff were incredibly helpful. They even managed to book us a restaurant in Skiathos town that had told us it was full. The location is great, with a lovely local beach nearby, shops, restaurants/cafes and bus stops not too far away. Only a few minutes from the airport right in the harbour so walking distance to the buses, taxis, bars, restaurants and boat trip. Stayed at the Alkyon Hotel in Skiathos Town for a week and could not praise it enough. The room would be classed as a one bedroom apartment, it was large in size with a balcony with a view. The room was lovely and clean. It is a traditional older style accommodation. The breakfast was ok. There are quite a few steep steps on entry to this property, the staff were attentative in helping me with my luggage on arrival and departure.

A couple of negatives We were allocated a loft suite which I would consider dangerous as the stairs to the mezzanine bedroom were very steep and difficult to use if you are not very mobile. We Stayed at the Bourtzi for 10 days. Our first trip to Skiathos. Probably one of the best Hotels we have ever been to. All the staff are brilliant, so helpful. Nothing is to much trouble. This hotel is beautiful and the staff are all great, nothing is too much trouble for them. Unfortunately, I ate something in the town and was very ill in my room. Christof was amazing. Right in the heart of skiathos town but tucked away, this is a great place to stay if you want clean, modern accommodation that is simple but a good standard. The staff are exceptionally friendly and will do anything for you. My only problem was that our room was near the reception area and so was a little noisy. But everything else was very good.
