We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel — it offers very good value for money. I had read some reviews mentioning that the breakfast was small, but in my opinion, you get exactly what you pay for, and the overall experience is absolutely worth the price.

My daughter and I were lucky to stay in a renovated room, which was lovely, spacious, and very comfortable. The housekeeping was excellent, and the staff were friendly and always ready to help.

Another big plus is the location — only about a 5-minute taxi ride from Skopelos Town (Chora).

We were very happy with our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Felt totally unwelcome from the moment we arrived. The last thing we needed having got there at 20.00hrs having been travelling from 04.45 that morning. Put in the wrong room, not arguing too tired. We couldn't see as everything was dark, even the guy bringing our cases couldn't see the door and tried to let us into the room next-door. I wrongly assumed he would report it to reception , he didn't so I did the following night. Still no lights on steps but was better lit with lights up from driveway. Limited drinks at the bar as they told us "end of season" it was 14th September. We also overheard this being said to other guests " you can have only what you see" Evening food isn't great but the breakfast was very nice and plentiful. The staff at breakfast were very pleasant too. Hotel is in a good location just out of the noise but is a walk up hill back from town. The hotel was clean and the cleaners again were polite and friendly. Room was very small as was the balcony, there is nowhere to put anything and the shower cubicle is tiny. This is not a 5 star hotel and should not be advertised as one. The 3 star we stayed in on the next island completely exceeded this one. The photos on the website are misleading. On check out nobody asked us about our stay etc. They don't want to know. I'm glad we only stayed 3 nights and we were happy to leave. Never experienced such bad hospitality in any hotel before. Would not recommend which is ashame as it has great potential.Room 307.

We stayed in a Bungalow with shared pool, which is in need of a refurb as felt a little tired. Good space and comfortable though. I can only imagine hotel is rated as 5 Star as has wellness facilities as only really felt like a 4 star hotel to me. No real welcome on arrival and little information provided on facilities and services available On the plus side, the pool area is lovely with plenty of sunbeds and no need to try and rush down to reserve. Hotel also in a good location, taking around 20 mins to walk into town, and then a 5 Euro taxi home

A wonderful, relaxing holiday. Comfortable room, good breakfasts and very friendly and helpful staff. Please pass on our thanks to Dimitri, Apostolia, Elli and Nicol. They made our stay extra special.

UPDATE: THE REVIEW IS UPDATED TO REPLY TO THE DELIBERATE LIES OF THE OWNER. THE PHOTOS ARE JUST TO SHOW THE RATES AND PROVE THE DOWNGRADING IN PRICE AND SERVICES

DEAR OWNER SELF CRITICISM IS THE SOLUTION
NOT JUST REPLYING TO TO REVIEWS.
I HAVE NO MOTIVATION OTHER THAN WARN OTHER TRAVELLERS

This is definitely not a 5-star hotel. They have discount rates (still high for what they offer) simply to attract customers.

We were traveling with 1 year old baby therefore we booked a 2 bedroom flat to have some space and a big bathroom and be comfortable under the circumstances.

The facility looks a bit left in general and only a few places are in good condition - the reception and the breakfast/pool area.

We arrived at 1pm, 2 hours before the check in time at 3pm. They knew we arrived with a baby and they still left waiting for 2 hours. We left and came back at 3pm and then they told us that the room is not available anymore and they will upgrade us in the junior suite. That was a lie because the room was a 20m2 studio that could barely fit the cot within the couch ( no couch to use and no space to move around) and was cheaper to book anyway. So downgrading is the new upgrade!!!
I went back at the reception and asked for a 2 bedroom flat for the aforementioned reasons. They said that there is one!!! but we need to wait for another hour to clean and disinfect the room. This took of course longer and we were settled at 4!!! Imagine our state...we were traveling with a baby for 6 hours to arrive to our accommodation and then we waited for 3 hours to be settled. I doubt a real 5-star hotel would ever treat this matter in such a way.
But there is more, the 2 bedroom flat with a pool we were given (still same price as the one we booked though so no upgrade whatsoever) really needs some maintenance and deep cleaning. Especially the ACs ( i cleaned the filters you can thank me later) and the bathroom which looked and smelled disgusting.
My wife asked me not to ruin our holidays coz I was ready to come to the reception and bring everyone there to our bathroom and ask them "would you put your baby there for a shower?"
People at the restaurant were friendly, the breakfast itself was OK not a 5-star though, more like a good effort to show a big variety at a minimum cost/quality.
To sum up, the hotel urgently needs some attention otherwise the 5-star rating is simply a scam.
I wonder if the Authorities are regularly checking the state and status of such high star facilities to update the ratings accordingly.

Our stay at the hotel was very pleasant clean and comfortable rooms, rich breakfast, and very friendly staff.Unfortunately our experience at the pool was particularly negative. The lifeguard behaved in a rude and inappropriate manner constantly staring at us in an unpleasant way and giving the impression that we weren’t welcome there. His attitude was unprofessional and unacceptable for a place that offers hospitality. It’s a shame that such a beautiful and well maintained hotel is affected by such behavior. We hope this issue is addressd as the hotel itself truly deserves better.

At the very outset I would highly recommend this hotel. We had a fabulous time both in the hotel and on Skopelos. This maybe a Greek 5 star hotel, however in the UK it would be a 4 star at best. On arrival we were greeted warmly by the receptionist albeit it was nearly 11 pm at night. Having completed the necessary paperwork we were the told we had been given a room upgrade, which was a pleasant surprise. We were hoping to grab a snack from the bar as we were tired and hungry, but sadly this wasn't an option. We were delighted with room 136. Seperate bedrooms, nicely decorated, modern furniture, a basket with toothbrush, soaps, shampoos etc, and in the fridge complimentary soft drinks, water and a bottle of wine. Air conditioning is standard at no extra cost. Whilst we were there the cleaning was impeccable. We had room service everyday, clean towels everyday, and the bedding changed at least four times over the duration of the holiday. This was faultless. Breakfast was excellent. Admittedly I do like a full English but there was an array of hot and cold dishes, pies, cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, fresh juices made by the "Juice Man", and a lady who made fresh! pancakes, pies, crepes and waffles. I think it would be very difficult for anyone to agree there wasn't a great selection. Pool bar was equally delightful. We mostly stuck to the Greek salad, pizza and burgers. Very fairly priced and the bar team were always smiling and welcoming. Sun beds! Absolutely not a problem whilst we were there. The hotel doesn't allow you to reserve the beds. Excellent. You simply wandered down and collected a towel. Once you had done, you simply handed it back. Absolutely the right way to do it. I detest folk who are out at first light to secure a sun bed that they have no intention of using. Why or why! Away from the hotel, Skopelos town is around 15 mins and you are walking downhill so it's a fairly easy stroll. However for 5 euros we always caught the taxi back. You get one from the only taxi rank in Skopelos on the sea front. Lastly, the hotel did offer a Mama Mia private trip for 320 euros. Thannos was an excellent guide and we were out from 9am till 3 pm. We visited the Mama Mia church, a local village and three beaches. Being brutally honest, with hindsight, probably 320 euros was too much to pay. The local tour operator, Dolphin Tours, offers a similar tour at 40 euros per person. To summarise, yes, I would highly recommended this hotel for a quiet and pleasant stay.

21.07.2025 Guest

L shared bungalo with my family, aircon was a bit dodgey and leaked in our room, and the wardrobe was broken, the room was clean but we did find a few hairs in the bed .. however the staff were extremely friendly and fixed all of these issues. The food at both the pool bar and restaurant were amazing ! Private taxi service provided by the hotel into the town was a lovely touch. Within walking distance to a shop, however on the top of a bit of a hill so would recommend walking in the cooler hours!! Very cheap bus service to and from many beaches

08.07.2025 David

It’s the third time we’ve visited peaceful and relaxing Skopelos.
This time we chose to stay at this beautiful hotel and it didn’t disappoint us.
The room was very clean and had all the essentials you need.
The staff were very kind and helpful.
The breakfast offered a wide variety and catered to all tastes.
The pool area was a very comfortable place to relax and swim, although the lifeguards manner was sometimes a bit abrupt. :(
Overall our experience was very good we already miss this island!

From the moment we arrived the staff were all super friendly and helpful. From the reception staff - pool staff everyone made our stay pleasurable . Rooms are clean and comfortable, breakfast was good, pool staff very friendly comfy sun loungers and clean inviting pool with a bar service and food if needed . Easy access to a supermarket about a 10 min walk down the road , you can also walk to skopelos port from the hotel but we taxied it mostly cause of the heat . Maria on the main port front offers a very good boat excursion I think it’s called skopelos tours - boat day trip around the island visiting some of the main filming spots from mamma Mia . Maria was fantastic got everyone joining in, her grandmas home made food for lunch from the local restaurant beautiful moussaka and Greek salad ❤️, a small number of you on the boat most being 10 , we would do this again if we return which we most defiantly will . Also Mamma Mia evening party at Azores and tiki Maji every Wednesday evening is a must . Visit some of the local beautiful beaches some still unspoilt and off track . Loved this beautiful island one of my favourites scopelos you were amazing ❤️
