I recently stayed at this beautiful hotel in Zakynthos and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had

The pool and the restaurant terrace have this wonderful view and the ocean side rooms and suites as well. The restaurant has great food for me, the menu changes by day so it never got be bored

The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking – waking up every morning to that scenery felt like a dream

And the staffs are very friendly and helpful, I enjoyed my stay a lot

It is a pretty good hotel that can be booked in the off-season. The room is not too big, there is free parking, it faces the sea, it is not far from the port and the airport, and the breakfast is also rich.

The room is big and clean, the sea view is beautiful, and the breakfast is also very good. I stayed for two nights and felt very good

Just over the road from a pebbly beach but there are two points on the way into town where you can access the sea for those that like a swim

The sea view room you booked can see the sea. Across the road from the hotel is a long beach coastline. The tap water on this island is too salty to even rinse your mouth

The driver who picked me up at the airport said that you must not drink the tap water, even if it is boiled, and the hotel does not provide free drinking water

Its clean and cute. The room are clean. The pool is good the water very good in summer. In morning the food is good and tasy. On the terrace you can see the harbor. I recommend this hotel. ☺??

Everything is good in the hotel and the location is perfect. But the shower setting is quite low and shower area is small. During the showering, one hand is needed to hold the shower head.

The location is definitely good, and the front desk is quite polite. But the facilities are a bit old. The air conditioner is facing the TV, and it won't turn on if you don't close the door

My family and I highly recommend the amazing Hotel Varres! All of the staff were extremely friendly and polite - they helped us with a couple of restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and spots to visit along the coastline and in the city centre

Excellent place! If you are in Zante for a quiet and peaceful vacation - Varres is a great place for that. Rooms are cosy, the pool is ultra clean and the staff is just perfect

the hotel was excellent! Our room was massive, it had very comfortable beds, a great tv and a nice balcony with view of the pool

The reception is staffed 24 hours, which adds a strong sense of security and convenience. They also assisted with arranging a taxi to the airport at a fixed rate of €15, which was very helpful

He used his advice often! The hotel is very close to the bank, the hotel and the square, so many snack bars! If you want to go on a beach holiday, it is advisable to rent a car (we found out only on the island), because there is no beach near the hotel where you can swim

During my stay over Easter, the city center was quite lively and noisy, but the front desk staff were very kind and proactively helped me move to a larger and quieter room, which made a big difference to my experience

The location is excellent, isolated from Solomon Square, and there is a simple supermarket less than 100 meters away. The breakfast is delicious and the drinks are excellent. The room has a beautiful view of the marina.

The elevator is incredibly small. The hotel's location is pretty good. The water tastes salty, like it's been purified but not completely. Breakfast was alright.

The room is right by the sea, and the sea view rooms offer ocean views. It's just a 1-minute walk from the pickup point for the Shipwreck Beach boat tour. Breakfast is plentiful and satisfying

The inclusion of the word “boutique” in a hotel's name is often misplaced or misleading, but in the case of the Bitzaro it is perfectly understandable : this is an exceptionally chic little place, the good taste of the modern décor being evident as soon as you step inside the cool lobby

We went to Zakynthos for the easter weekend. I picked this hotel because it was a boutique hotel. Having travelled a lot, I have found the boutique hotels offer the best in rooms along with service

Breakfast is very good, provided by discreet and pleasant staff, and anyone needing an early morning swim has only to walk across the road and jump into the sea with the bunch of regular locals

The cleaning staff were very good, and our room was always done to a high standard, as were the immaculately clean public areas of the hotel. Reception staff were friendly and helpful

The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower if you fancy that sort of thing, which I do. Overall, a 10/10 for the room. The breakfast was plentiful, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming

It's only five minutes walk along the shore road from the end of the port of Zakynthos Town, distance enough to make it easily accessible without being thrust into a sometimes noisy evening scene

Excellent breakfast buffet with lots of choices. Just 5 or10 minutes walk to the main resort area and 20 minutes to the beach. A shuttle bus is provided, but I was happy to walk

The manager, Spiros, went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome and taken care of throughout our stay. The receptionist was always so kind and helpful, and every staff member we met was friendly and professional

They truly made us feel at home. If you’re looking for a place with great service, warm hospitality, and good value in Zakynthos, I highly recommend this hotel. We would definitely stay here again!

If someone came to rest here, this place is not a very good choice because at night people at the bar get drunk and loud and kids scream next to the pool during the morning

This place is great its cheap and its clean staff are friendly and welcoming rooms are large pool is lovely plays a nice mix of English music throughout the day not too loud just right they have different entertainment every night from karaoke to Greek dancers food is great they do English breakfast aswell only fault here is no telly in room was a bit of a shock and bring your own iron everything else...

Sandy and Giannis as welcoming as ever, met up with old friends,looking forward to going back. Its a great place, you are really looked after here, even if you travel alone you make friends and people look out for you

One of the best hotels I have ever been to. It is so well designed that you will not want to leave the hotel. All the rooms overlook this "pool-lake" in the center of the hotel

What we loved: - fantastic rooms, tastefully decorated - amazing food and drinks - they are amazing, we ate in lots of places on the island but sometimes we wished we had eaten in the hotel - the staff are so kind and nice, literally everyone

- also had trouble getting an ironing board from our room (we called twice and once someone came with another ironing board so we were stuck with two, and the second time no one came at all) - the fridge is quite warm inside - no coffee machine in the room - hard to find exactly the room you want, for example I wanted a swim up room with a shared pool but it was the one with no seat above it and it...

As for the restaurant, we ate the best duck, the atmosphere is fantastic. The impressions of the hotel cannot be described in words

Maybe my biggest annoyance as I have a fear of wasps but still worth mentioning. - the room we initially got was not what we expected, the view was directly onto other people sitting by the pool and it was very noisy

The hotel in Zaso was a pleasant surprise. The hotel environment, service, breakfast and dinner tastes were first-class. It is very suitable for couples to vacation

This is such a great property! Staff are amazing and welcoming. It's very quiet and conveniently located next to the beach (we ate there once). Definitely a great location!

Location is great it’s right near the beach and has a nice beach bar called barracuda (as shown in some pics) and it’s also only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars which were all really good places to eat

The front desk manager of this hotel and a female staff member who is about 50 years old are the most rude and worst staff I have ever seen. This is the worst hotel front desk I have ever seen

We did stay with a few more children, but as a staff member, they should have informed us of the solution in advance. They did not agree to let us book a room again instead of rolling their eyes and being irritated

She didn't give me the room card. She took us to the room like interrogating a prisoner and asked me why the children were running around and not assigned rooms like when they put their passports

Razis' location waa perfect for good restaurants and bars, plus an easy walk to the beach. The apartment was a good size and generally clean in all the right places with towels changed every other day

Pool towels were provided on request and toiletries provided, although not replenished without request. The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool was a nice bonus and the bar well stocked with a good food menu

Lovely, stylish apartments with all amenities you need. The studios above the pool have a great view and the ground apartments are surrounded with nature and lemon trees. The apartments were cleaned every day

Cleaned daily to a high standard and linen changed every day , it has basic cooking facilities and it's basically somewhere to sleep The location is fantastic 5 minutes to the main bars restaurants in the town so location can't be beaten The only negative I would say is the steep climb from the main road up to the apartments I'm the wrong side of 50 had a knee operation about a year ago so it's been...

The staff was very good and responsive to any question or issue we had. I think there’s some room for improvement with breakfast and maybe lowering the AC a bit, but otherwise, it’s a really nice hotel

Pool and sunbathing excellent

I stayed here for a week and I enjoyed it. It's not loud outside because it is a bit from the city but I have 2 complaints. Number 1: basic breakfast, not a lot to choose from but the food was really good

The hotel in total is not bad, BUT if you like uphill walking then is no problem, you need to pay extra 7 Euro a day for the airco above your reservation, service & breakfast was good, close to the beach

Number 2: The bathroom door didn't have a lock and the door was glass and you could somewhat see through it. The staff was super kind, helpful and their English was good enough to understand them

There are many restaurants to choose from but a couple of my favourites were Ellie’s place, Bullhorn Steakhouse & Michaelos (not on Kalamki Rd but turn right out of the hotel and then right again rather than left)

It was my first visit & my sister’s 2nd however some of the other guests have been visiting for many years which says a lot about this family run hotel. Vicky, Gus, Fotini & the staff give you such a warm welcome

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity. Was not that easy to find, have to watch out for small signs posted on the outside wall. The rooms were always clean, the personnel is always super friendly and helpful

Good to have a chat with them and ask for tips where to go, you might find hidden treasures to visit. The breakfast area was nice and the food was also fine, nothing really special, but okay

The grids surrounding the pool are a bit of a health hazard as they are unstable and weak causing them to flip and your feet to fall through. It's hard to avoid as the space between the pool and sunbeds is very tight

The staff are fantastic and friendly, especially Katerina, always happy and smiling, nothing was too much trouble! The location is very quiet and close to the main strip. Very clean and maintained on a daily basis

Fridge in the room was always restocked but drinks were warm and even after playing with the settings couldn’t cool anything

Was very disappointed with our holiday definitely not 5 Star wasps everywhere which maybe couldn't be helped staff at beach bar extremely rude maybe some training in customer service would be helpful certainly would not return to this hotel!!!!

She is very kind and beautiful, and I had a great time there — she brought a big smile to my face every time I had also a facial massage with Areti and she did it so gently and softly that you could almost fall asleep

When we arrived, we were told there was a problem with our room – the previous guests had cracked the tub so the shower wasn’t usable. At first we were a bit worried about what that meant, but it all turned out fine

Our stay at Hotel Contessina was absolutely excellent! We were kindly upgraded to a room with a private pool at no extra charge, which was a fantastic surprise! The service throughout our stay was outstanding

Our room overlooked the pool, a peaceful, elegant scene that looked like something out of a dream. We thought it might be noisy being so close to the water, but it was the opposite: pure silence

On checking in after a 3 hour delay we were greeted by George and Sue, who explained about the hotel and what it offers, then our cases were taken to our room, Sue escorted us to the room and gave us a guided tour, again what a lovely touch

Damitre was at the pool bar every evening. He even joined us at the end of the night for a little drink. Asking us lots of questions and checking we were enjoying ourselves. Breakfast was plentiful and very nice indeed

Well what can I say, George and his team are wonderful. We went out on 8th September for my wedding, there was 16 of us staying at this hotel. The Hotel is immaculate, the cleaners doing their jobs to a high standard

Water park is a 10 min walk, mini golf is about a 15 min walk. Taxis were very reasonably priced and the hotel staff would arrange them for you no problem. All in all I would definitely stay here again

not a lot of variety and nothing is labelled, desserts were dire and fruit is ok if you like melon (which I don’t) so we eat out a lot at some fantastic restaurants around, although the salads were nice and these were varied every day

We had a fabulous 7-night stay in August and couldn’t fault a thing. Our shower had a small issue on the first evening, but this was resolved immediately by maintenance staff

Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with an excellent choice of hot and cold dishes. We chose to take breakfast in the sister hotel across the road, although a smaller restaurant is also available here

Stayed September, third time staying at the hotel, the rooms have been refurbished, room is clean, the beds are comfy & the cleaners are friendly, if you needed anything for the room they were helpful

The bad side rain storms caused flooding in the restaurant, the floor was full of runing water, which I found dangerous, i heard that the resturant so bad in the afternoon it was closed, the evening wasn't any better, the flooding was very bad, which unfortunately couldn't be helped, staff trying stop it flooding in but unable

Pool snacks are available outside, but because weather was so bad no snacks were offered in the main part of the hotel only a drinks bar, the rain was too bad to go out, they had other kitchen facilities at the back of the pool bar were they could of offered food

Rooms were clean and tidy cleaning ladies were polite and friendly tea and coffee in the room but not enough milk left as they leave u 2 little packs of milk. shower and sink water is definitely salt water

Pool snacks & drinks are available around the pool. The restaurant food was lukewarm, found the food over cooked, food samey, last time we went to the hotel they did a Greek night & had Greek dancers

The hotel is in a fabulous location and our room in the main hotel was stunning… the bed was one of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever slept in! The room was spacious, clean and modern; towels are changed every other day and the bins and bed are done every day

Just returned from an excellent stay at Hotel Contessa, and our first time visiting Zakynthos. We found all hotel staff to always be very welcoming, friendly and super helpful

Breakfast was excellent - so much choice and a wonderful view from the breakfast room across the bay! Loved the pool area, sun loungers, and snack bar, and can highly recommend the club sandwich 👌The guys running the bar were awesome, nothing was ever too much trouble 😀 Our package included the use of the fridge and we added on the safe and borrowed a kettle and cups for our room

We stayed in C block, which was lovely and modern. The room was a family room and very spacious! We were situated by the small pool which perfect. Food was very good and their was a good selection and choice

This hotel is rated by Tui as 4*. Sadly it struggles to make 3* at best. The positives are the staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is extremely pleasant. There is something for everyone

However I think it was an attempt to block an ant hole as several would appear every day from around that area and on the floor - thank goodness they weren’t red! There isn’t a grab rail for the bath and as the bath was quite deep and I am vertically challenged getting in and out was quite difficult

Other reviewers have said C block is the best as it has been refurbished - well I'm sorry but room C201 has not been refurbished and should not be let out again in my opinion

On talking to reception I was told this always happens everywhere in Zante as the plumbing system is inadequate! Apparently if you bath you have to pull the plug out for 5 seconds then put it back again repeating the process until all the water has gone! How ridiculous and not one sign to advise this

The shower head does not stay in the socket and managed to hit me on the head twice and then the foot. Fed up with this I had a bath. On removing the plug the whole bathroom flooded with an awful sewage smell as well
