Hotel Palmyra in Argasi

We are just back from a week at the Palmyra Hotel. Overall it’s a good hotel however it could be better by a bit of maintenance and the addition of some basics.
Although there is a kettle and cups in the room, there is no tea or coffee sachets let alone milk and sugar. No bottle of water in the fridge on arrival - basic stuff.
The shower in our room looked great but the big square shower head leaks everywhere and floods the bathroom without a towel at the entrance. The bathroom door is a pain too. The TV is the tiniest thing I’ve seen for years, no bigger than a laptop! A/C is expensive and the safety deposit box is also extra. The bed however is huge and comfortable.
The room service and reception staff are great and the cleaning is exceptional. Breakfast was good quality but the same every day so quite boring.
George in the pool bar is a great guy and his cocktails are absolutely perfect. Best we had on the island!

Lovely hotel. Very clean, staff friendly and helpful with rooms cleaned every day with clean towels. Pool area is very attractive with plenty of sun beds available. We stayed for 8 nights bed and breakfast and enjoyed a varied choice of food every day. The beach area was poor, small with little sand but the sea was lovely. Argassi is a small but very lively resort with everything you need including many shops close to the hotel. Lots of amazing restaurants serving great food. We had scrching weather for 7 days until thunderstorms came in on our last night so badly the airport closed and no aircraft were allowed to land. Special thanks to Jet2 who arranged a hotel and transport for that night before getting us home the next day. Would not return mainly because of the poor beach but have no complaints on the service at the hotel and resort

Lovely hotel with lovely staff. Great breakfast, very nice and just what you need in a morning.
Pool bar was did fantastic food.

This hotel is beautiful. Very well maintained, clean and fresh. Hotel staff are very friendly and accomadating. A big mention to George at the bar,he goes above and beyond, it is special when you have a barman who is multiskilled and with character, he gives people service from their sun beds especially the 20 cheese and onion toasties 🤣. This hotel is great and we will definitely return next year.

Another visit the Palmyra did not disappoint, a well run hotel with spacious rooms with waterfall showers in the bathroom. Complimentary toiletries are nice bonus . The aircon is excellent and is a must . All the staff here are polite and very helpful , a special mention goes to the housekeeping staff who came in every day at our request, brilliant. Look forward to returning next year ❤️

We really liked this hotel, it was always calm and quiet, never a queue for breakfast, always sunbeds available and the bar was always quiet.

Great location right next to the shops and restaurants but it was still very quiet at night.

I would highly recommend for a hassle free fairly priced stay.

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. It’s very modern and clean. The staff are very friendly - George who runs the bar is very informative about the island and makes the best White Russian cocktails 🤣. The food served there is delicious too! Breakfast was varied. Nice coffee and Greek yoghurt but you could also have eggs and bacon etc… The pool is clean and there are plenty of beds. When we returned from discovering the island mid afternoon, we could always find a couple of beds free. Would definitely return. Thanks team Palmyra for a great holiday!

The hotel is lovely, very clean, staff friendly, breakfast really nice and never a problem getting sunbeds the only reason i give it a 4 and not 5 star is because of the room. There were 3 of us sharing a room (all women) and there was just not enough draw space or coat hangers for all 3 of us, we were having to put lots of stuff on the floor or just kept in our suitcases until we needed an item, also the cleaners kept giving us only 2 towels when there were clearly 3 of us. We also got a coffee pot and cups but no coffee/tea or milk provided. I would assume you had to pay extra for this, you also have to pay extra for the air con and safe key - but they are essential.
