Bitzaro Boutique Hotel in Zakynthos Town

The inclusion of the word “boutique” in a hotel's name is often misplaced or misleading, but in the case of the Bitzaro it is perfectly understandable : this is an exceptionally chic little place, the good taste of the modern décor being evident as soon as you step inside the cool lobby. It's only five minutes walk along the shore road from the end of the port of Zakynthos Town, distance enough to make it easily accessible without being thrust into a sometimes noisy evening scene. Rooms are just as smart as the reception area would suggest, with clever design touches and appliances. Breakfast is very good, provided by discreet and pleasant staff, and anyone needing an early morning swim has only to walk across the road and jump into the sea with the bunch of regular locals.

We went to Zakynthos for the easter weekend. I picked this hotel because it was a boutique hotel. Having travelled a lot, I have found the boutique hotels offer the best in rooms along with service. The hotel was closely located to the centre of Zakynthos (2 min walk), but close enough to be away from the noise. The hotel is very modern, clean and the rooms offer everything you would need. We booked an Executive Double room with Sea View. We had a very large balcony with two relax chairs. The room itself had a huge double bed, room safe, plenty of storage if you need it. The bathroom had a walk-in shower with a rainfall shower if you fancy that sort of thing, which I do. Overall, a 10/10 for the room. The breakfast was plentiful, and all the staff were very friendly and welcoming. They simply couldn’t do enough. Thank you to all of them. This is a gem of a hotel and one you should choose if you stay in Zakynthos. We will be back to stay again soon.

My partner and I recently returned from an 8 night stay at the Bitzaro.

The hotel is beautifully styled, modern, clean, and well located in a peaceful area just a stones throw from the centre of town and directly across from a small (but nice) pebble beach.

The room was compact but very well designed and fitted out to a very high standard.
Note: I would recommend only taking carry on luggage if you stay here because of the economical amount of space available to put belongings.

Our booking came with a breakfast. Being a smaller boutique hotel I thought it would just be a few continental options, but the friendly staff offer you a choice of options cooked fresh, which was a nice touch.

The cleaning staff were very good, and our room was always done to a high standard, as were the immaculately clean public areas of the hotel.

Reception staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel benefits from having a 24hr reception service.

I would definitely stay here again.

Had a great stay here, was only one night but would definitely stay again. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the location is excellent. On arrival we were greeted by lovely Pedro on reception who helped us with our suitcases. He explained everything really clearly and made sure we had everything we needed. I booked a room with a Mountain View and a balcony, it overlooked the street behind the hotel and had a nice view from the balcony of the mountains. In the morning when woke up there was a service going on in the church a street over and I could hear the congregation singing! So beautiful!
The breakfast was a buffet, I’m vegan and there was plenty of choice for me ranging from fresh fruit and cereal. They had oat / soya / almond milk for teas/coffees too.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were all brilliant and kind.
Pedro helped us to book a taxi to our next destination before finishing his shift and his colleague helped us with our luggage again before we left.

Very nice hotel in the very center of Zante, great staff. Everything is new. The rooms are newly renovated, we had a superior room, very large and clean. Breakfast with very good quality products. Thank you

Great new hotel in the heart of Zakynthos town on the seafront, close to all the shops and bars. Everything is new, clean and immaculate. The staff is very friendly and professional. Awesome breakfasts and a relaxing atmosphere!

Lovely little boutique hotel. I'm a clean freak when it comes to hotels and I didn't have one complaint here. It was very clean and nicely decorated. Angelie was amazing at getting us a great room. The breakfast buffet was good and all of the front desk staff were very friendly. If I'm ever in Zakynthos again, this will be my go to spot.

Hotel on the seafront, just a short walk from the city's bustling nightlife, with a convenient public parking lot right opposite. Just across the road, there's a small pebble beach with a shower, perfect for a quick dip when you don't want to venture far. The hotel isn't huge, with just 3 floors and an elevator, but the rooms are spacious and have comfortable beds. The breakfast was excellent, varied, and plentiful, served by two incredibly kind women whom I'd like to thank again. Overall, all the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would definitely return.

We had an amazing stay! Everyone is very friendly, the breakfast is delicious and the rooms are very clean and comfortable!
Restaurants and bars are walking distance and the parking is also a great addition!
