This was my second time at the Pest-Buda Design Boutique Hotel and I can highly recommend it. Nothing is lacking. You can hear some traffic noise in the room facing the street, but it didn't bother me at all and I cateched good sleep. The room can be completely darkened. The location is great, especially for a morning stroll in the castle district before the tourist crowds flock to the mountain. The The design is lovely and the restaurant is really nice. The staff is very polite.

This boutique hotel is absolutely lovely. It is stylishly designed, friendly and is situated in a great position near to the BUDA side attractions. It is a really nice place to stay and the staff are super friendly. Andreas and Daniel were the reception come managers and went out of their way to make our stay really special. It is a small hotel with only 10 rooms arranged on three flights of stairs. It is a really old building that has been updated to create a modern hotel. There is no lift ( due to conservation listing) so if you are not good on stairs ( spiral) then that may be an issue for you but the steps are not arduous. You are situated in close proximity to all of the BUDA tourist sites. Access down to the river and bridges across to the PEST side of the city is either by walking down the many steps ( we did it and we are in our seventies!) or by public transport buses or by the castle shuttle buses or by the funicular railway.

Beautiful hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Room was spacious and well equipped and we loved the quirkiness. Very close to fisherman's bastion and we loved passing by the fantastic views on our way to anywhere. Breakfast choice was great and very tasty.

Amazing place. Memorable, historical magical exactly what i needed. The stay impregnated with care and family tradition. The room was the cutest. Restaurant for dinner incredibly tasty and cozy. We want to be back asap. Special thanks to Andras and Dani.

Wow, pest-buda design hotel , the rooms are beautiful, well stocked and clean and I love the design. The staff are very attentive and the guy who checked us in was so helpful and friendly I wish I got his name! We had breakfast everyday which was lovely and dinner in the bistro once which we thoroughly enjoyed. The surrounding area is stunning. Our first trip to Budapest and the best place to stay for sure

A beautiful hotel in the calm surroundings of Buda Castle. Everything here was perfect - the room, the location, the staff and the service. Our Frenchy breakfast was fresh and delicious (especially the incredible plum jam!) and we had a wonderful stay.

Gorgeous design hotel. Great discovery, the oldest hotel in Budapest. With a very modern design interior! Teh location is perfect for a quick visit to budapest in the middle of the castle district. Yummy basic breakfast included in the room. Was truely a lively experience!

Found this place on Tablet Hotels. For a great rate and had a great experience. Clean, comfortable, great service/staff and lovely bar/restaurant. Location is pretty chill but close to all the Castle happenings (many of which aren’t open late). I was here for work so appreciated the quiet vibes.
