The hotel is located in an excellent location, across from the main train station and has an excellent connection with the whole city, via the tram and metro, which are located next to the hotel.
I'm afraid that is the main positive feature of this hotel.
We were not lucky with the rooms, in the first one, on the fifth floor, the sink pipe broke, as soon as we entered the bathroom to wash our hands from the road, and in the second one, which was on the third floor, the mattresses failed, so it was impossible to sleep on them.
There were only two shower towels in the rooms, and at the reception they said they didn't have towels because they were being washed.
The starting station of tram number 13 is below the hotel, so if you get a room on that side, it can be very noisy.
The carpets in the corridors of the hotel seem very dirty, with stains in various colors from various eras. The hotel was affordably priced for good reason.
Breakfast at the hotel was of mediocre quality. Etc.
All in all, I don't recommend it unless you really have to.

I wish I could give zero stars, but unfortunately that’s not possible. This so-called “hotel” is an absolute disgrace! No towels, no toilet paper, no soap, no shampoo. They advertised a TV – there was none. The place was filthy beyond belief, with used bed sheets still on the bed. The door to the next room was literally taped shut with duct tape – so much for privacy. The hallway was almost completely dark, we had to use our phones as flashlights. Reception? A total disaster – rude and unhelpful. We left after just ten minutes because it was unbearable, and they STILL refused to give us our money back! This place is a complete horror show, a scam, and a shame. You’re better off sleeping at the train station or on a bench outside than here.

DO NOT COME HERE!!! The rooms are filthy, the mattresses and pillows were dirty. The walls are very thin—you can hear everything happening in the other rooms. Our room had a door that led directly into the neighboring room. The air conditioning didn’t work, and neither did the bathroom ventilation. The breakfast was horrible. The food was undercooked and had no taste—luckily, there’s a SPAR nearby where you can buy something to eat. There’s no fridge in the room. If you sleep with the window open, which is necessary in the summer, you can hear the trams from outside quite loudly. The only decent thing is that it’s in a fairly good location. I don’t recommend this place to anyone—look for somewhere else to stay.

Horrible horrible idea to stay here. A complete ripoff. We were there in high summer season and they had no air conditioning. The thermostat was showing 35 degrees. We went downstairs to ask them to fix it or at least provide us with a fan. They said they cannot do either - of course in an indifferent manner. So we decided to check out and go to another hotel. Afterwards they flagged us as a no show on Booking, so not only did we pay the fee for the night upon arriving at the reception, but they also withdrew it once more through Booking. After about 4 phone calls with Booking and Booking employees' attempts to get in touch with the hotel and have them send the money back, still no success. Never will I ever again stay there. Not to mention, rooms not especially clean and some of the stuff unfriendly.

Creepy, scary, disgusting. Dirty. No sheets, towels, paper toilet, soap. Broken locks and the carpets had weird stains on them, I can't even imagine what they are. It looks like the Netflix Cecil Hotel in LA could have been filmed there. Just... Don't.

This hotel is an absolute disaster. Although I travel frequently across Europe and stay in simpler or older hotels, I have never encountered anything as filthy as this. Cleanliness should be a basic standard, but here it was completely neglected. The room I received had not been cleaned after the previous guests. The fridge was moldy, the toilet was dirty, and there weren’t even clean towels! The water in the bathroom was dirty and unusable – not even suitable for washing or brushing my teeth! At the reception, the staff was trying to deal with numerous angry guests who were facing the same issue – dirty and unprepared rooms. When I asked for fresh bed sheets, I was given a pile of wrinkled and already dirty sheets! This was downright disgusting and unacceptable. I strongly urge the hotel management to shut down this mess immediately and stop deceiving guests who come to the wonderful city of Budapest expecting at least basic hygiene. To anyone considering this hotel – pick somewhere else. This city deserves better experiences!

We only spent one night at the hotel. The conditions were very average: no toilet seat, from which there was an unpleasant smell, no heating, which made it cold in the room, dirty bedding from lipstick to lips, half-torn curtains. Furniture that needs to be replaced or repaired. Not only that, returning to the hotel, after leaving our things in it, we found the door completely open. Fortunately, nothing was stolen, but we went straight to the reception and you in the reception, worried and nervous, could not explain to us why and how it happened. They explained that they had a lot of reservations that day and allegedly confused the room and gave our room to other guests. We suspect that these newly arrived guests left the door to our room open due to shock and disapproval after getting the occupied room. This does not change the fact that no one knows what happened to our room and the things left inside at that time. The reception did not work, in such a situation it should react appropriately and intervene so that the guests remain confident and not afraid. Another disadvantage was that the cleaners entered our room at 10.44, where the check-out takes place until 11.00. I don't recommend this place.

RUN AWAY! Please read:
If you value your money and hygiene please stay away from this Hotel.
Pictures on websites and search engines are outdated and no longer represent what they offer.
You are first greeted in a dark lobby which stinks of tobacco and offers minimal hospitality.
The corredor on our floor was full of stained carpet patches which seem like bleach (room included).
The room itself is just tragic.
Bathroom has not been renovated in at least 10 years, with a broken bathtub, stained wall and toilet paper stuck in the ceiling covering holes.
Half of the room had functioning lights. Stained pillows, no bed sheets and a bed which was not balanced on the floor. As a former soldier, I have had better nights outdoor and on the floor. The walls within the room has been completely violated and no attempt was made to clean or paint over. A small cabinet which I assume was for a fridge has nothing but a used towel which seems to currently live their for the past 5 years.
No matter how much you want to save on your trip and stay, pay the extra charge and either go to another place or closer to city center.

I would strongly recommend to search for another hotel, me and my friend stayed here 1 night (we would've stayed 3) and we just decided we need to get out of here now because it's dirty there's mold on the walls, in the bathroom there's spots on the floor, the bed and the wall and it seems like they don't clean this place at all. Don't let the pictures of the hotel fool you because it isn't what it looks like and again I would recommend a different place than this hotel

Close to Trams, Bus and Train Stations just across the street.

Worst experience ever.
Receptionist guy was not welcoming. They didn’t provide towel and when we ask they gave us just one for couple. Toilet Room was dirty. Pillows and bedsheets were obviously not changed or cleaned. It smelled awful.

You’ll get what you paid for if you decided to stay here.

One of if not the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Location is in one of rougher areas of Budapest. My partner nearly got mugged sitting outside the hotel having a cigarette. Pictures of the hotel must have been taken years ago as it is in terrible disrepair now. How they can claim to be a 3 star hotel is shocking I wouldn't even give them 1star. Our room was filthy. Stains on the walls carpets and blood and other suspect stains on the bedlinen mattress and pillow cases. Walls are wafer thin we could here the people in the room next door being amorous all night. Bed was rock hard and on the second night felt multiple springs coming through the mattress. My partner got electrocuted by the faulty hairdryer in the room which then started smoking and u could actually see a flame inside the heating coil... incredibley dangerous. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall exposing a very sharp edge. Staff didn't seem to care about any of the issues we raised. The only positive was nice shower with good water pressure. But other than that I'm sure prisoners get better conditions. What makes this all the more shocking the price they are charging per night for a room. We moved to a other hotel a 5 min walk away. For a four Star hotel and room that is night and day better we ended up paying 30 euro night less then we were paying here. Don't do it do yourself there a nicer and cheaper places some very close by. Finally to people who have given positive reviews on this platform and booking.com have you been living in a cave prior to coming to this hotel...

After reading all the reviews I was dreading what I might walk into. On arrival the foyer was clean and staff was pleasant. Room was average, more like a UK travel lodge. It was clean but I can honestly say it is in need of updating! No signal in t.v, blinds were visibly old, and bed was very basic.
Breakfast was ok, a wide range of English and continental (not much different from an English travel lodge).
Location was ideal for using public transport, which we found very easy to use.
All in all, pleasant enough to use as a base for sleep.

The girls from the breakfast were polite and the receptionist Daniel was really helpful and kind. The other receptionists were so rude and seemed so lost, like they don't know how to communicate and react in these position. A training probably gonna help them. The first room that they gave us was dirty and full of flies, the second one was better.

We stayed in room 411 and unfortunately our experience was very disappointing. There was no hot water at all and the hair dryer was in such poor condition that it seemed dangerous to use. We only discovered these problems in the morning before breakfast, so we didn’t report them to reception. Sadly, breakfast was also a disappointment – the sausages and eggs were served cold. From a hotel in this price range and location, we expected at least basic comfort, safety, and a decent breakfast, but we didn’t get that.

AVOID THIS PLACE! This hotels pictures do not show the hotel as how it really is! Stay here at your own precaution! The only good thing about this place is that it’s very close to the train/public transport and that it’s dirt cheap. The hotel is dirty, smells of stale cigarettes (even in a non-smoking room), the walls are thin (you can hear other people from your room), and everything looks and feels old and nasty. If you just want to lay your head down for 1 night on a cot like bed, then it might be okay, but I wouldn’t recommend this place for more than that. The bathrooms had rust, mold and limestone along the piping, as it looks like it hasn’t been maintained or cleaned. The room has stains all around which again doesn’t look like it’s ever been clean. We didn’t have a hairdryer, our AC was barely working, and our fridge also wasn’t working. The breakfast is very okay, and not worth staying here for the included breakfast. You’re better off going to the kfc down the street. We booked for 3 nights because it was cheap, but left after the first night because it was so horrible.
