Big Fish Hostel in Budapest

This was my first every time staying at a hostel and I was pleasantly surprised at how enjoyable to would be. The beds are super comfortable and the toilets were always clean. Met plenty of people in the kitchen and location is really close to some famous bars. Highly recommend checking this place out over any party hostel.

Big fish hostel was my first experience living in a hostel, and honestly it was some of the best times ive had. Its a great option if you are solo and want to meet people to hang out with, or even if you are together with others. Staff were great and accommodating, 10/10 recommend.

It was a great stay, the staff was really nice and in the kitchen you could meet a lot of travellers from different countries. Facilities are clean and everybody can have his privacy. I really recommend.

We booked the table online, which was easy. After arrival we were received by a very friendly service team. They explained, how the ordering process works, properly and they answered all questions related to the dishes as experts in a very friendly manner. We chose tuna tartar and octopus carpaccio as starters. The dishes were perfectly arranged on the plate and were just delicious! After finishing the dishes, the service team was immediately at the table to take away the dirty plates and to deliver the main dish. Just a small suggestion to the service: you may give the guests a little more time to digest the great dish. That was just a little bit too fast. Main dishes were two different fish soups, the marseille soup and the Nordic soup type. Both were great and we enjoyed the eating of different fish, mussels or other sea food. Unfortunately, we were not able to eat a dessert. We are very satisfied with our stay at the restaurant.

Great friendly place in the heart of the party district. Close to the river and many great places to eat and drink. Helpful and friendly staff.

Greatest hostel in the world. Wonderful staff who will show you around town, take you to dinner, and get you really really drunk!

Very nice hostel, focused on young grown ups. Nice staff, very friendly. Only thing missing was an airco, it was incredibly hot in the room.

Very welcoming, close to the Jewish Quarter on quite a busy street, and very near a tramstop. The only downside was the WiFi went down for over a day - I don't know if this happens often, but it was a pain. There are 4 bathrooms, all different but all nice, some kitchen facilities and a fridge.

Sadly spent only one night there but was a wonderful time. Lovely people and lots of fun. A cosy and clean small hostel!

Clean bedrooms, clean bathrooms, clean hostel. The bedrooms are spacious, and one of the rooms doesn't have bunk beds. However, the hostel next to a tram line, and the room can get stuffy with the doors closed (so avoid if you are a light sleeper).

It's at the edge of the party district, right next to the tram station and a block or two from a metro station, so we could pit stop throughout the day.

Generous receptionists and a calm vibe. No complaints here.
