The receptionist was very nice and explained clearly on stay and breakfast. Some stains were found on the bed linen but in general the room was clean and comfortable. The hotel was near the metro which is good and the room was quite small but it’s clean. The bathroom shower was too narrow and small, however, the staff was accommodating and friendly.

The room was clean, but there was virtually no service. The soundproofing was terrible; someone called the room at 2 AM, and there was constant noise and running upstairs and outside my door from 1 AM to 5 AM. It was quite a terrifying experience.

Extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the location was super convenient. It's within walking distance to the train station and popular attractions, and the surrounding area is lovely and quiet.

It's not comparable to what you'd find back home, but the value for money is pretty good, really good. It would be even better if they had a bigger electric kettle, a larger duvet, and provided power adapters.

The room was nice and spacious, and the breakfast was plentiful. There was a supermarket nearby, making shopping very convenient. It was also close to Chinatown, and there was a light rail station right across the street, making transportation very convenient.

Super friendly staff and clean room! The bed was really comfortable and easy to access to the tram! I love to walk, so I walked to the metro station, but it was still easy to transport and safe neighborhood! There is not much surrounding, so it was pretty quiet during the night! This is by far the best hotel I've stayed at in Budapest. I especially loved the incredibly rich breakfast, though the dinner at the restaurant was a bit ordinary and lacked Hungarian character. I was impressed by the staff; they were all very friendly and helpful, with a special shout-out to the front desk team. The hotel's design is also a huge plus. My only note is that the standard rooms are on the smaller side, which might be an issue for extended stays.

This beautifully designed hotel directly overlooks the Chain Bridge and is incredibly close to Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion. The views are stunning, and it offers a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. A wonderful touch was the complimentary wine and chocolates we received upon check-in!

There was no slipper, no bathrobe and other kits. Location was wonderful. Staff was positive. But basic hotel kits destroyed all these charms.

The hotel is in a good location, but it must get its act together replacing the carpets. The carpets in my room were very dirty. For over two years now the hotel is in the process of replacing the carpets. What takes them too long - and why did I get a room with these old dirty carpets ?

The internet worked well, staff were friendly and the breakfast was very good and the room was well cleaned.  The location is also easily accessible by public transport. The room was an okay size. The bed, pillows and chair weren't the most comfortable which was slightly disappointing. But, overall for the time period I think the value for money was decent.

Clean, affordable, colourful. Was very appreciative of their customer service as they let us change the date of our arrival with no penalty despite us accidentally booking a non-refundable room (need to email them directly, not through trip). Breakfast was good, but vegan/veg options were extremely limited, so I would have liked to see some more effort on that side to accomodate more guests.

Right by the Kelenföld station in Budapest, I arrived by midnight and was welcomed by this chubby (meant in a friendly way) and very friendly receptionist who got me to my room and was very kind. Beds are nice and not too soft, the breakfast is alright too. A big plus is the free coffee by the reception haha.

The room was great, with good heating. They also provided a shuttle service. After arriving on a late-night flight, I picked up my luggage and went to Zone 6 on the second floor. I called and the car arrived in about ten minutes. The breakfast wasn't really to my taste as a Chinese person; I just had some eggs, milk, and coffee.

Very close to the airport, so getting a taxi was super convenient. The hotel staff were really warm and attentive, with someone on duty 24/7. The room was clean and comfortable, the heating worked great, and the bathroom was bright and spacious. The bedding was soft and comfy too. Breakfast was decent enough; can't be too picky when you're traveling for work.

The cleanliness of this chain hotel was excellent. Its location is also very good, with a large, well-stocked shopping mall conveniently located right across the street. Public transport is easily accessible, with both subway and bus options. It's also only about a dozen kilometers from the airport. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Came with a tour group, sharing with one other traveller, room + balcony allow for plenty of space. The renovated rooms have ultra modern bathrooms. I really liked the location and the amazing view from the terrace. Initially, I was given a room with a view of a side street, but after speaking with the administrator, they offered to move me to the room I wanted for the second night. The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. My only moan is the gluten free options at breakfast. Bread is provided but there is no gf cereal, or other pastry goods. Food isn’t labelled with ingredients so you don’t know if it contains gluten. The location of the hotel is not central, if are a tourist I would recommend staying more central.

We booked a selected family room, which was surprisingly large, equivalent to two suites, each with a bathroom, refrigerator and safe. Real good value to money hotel in great location

This is a review for Danubius Hotel Hungaria, as the original Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a free transfer. Everything was great, thank you very much for your hospitality!

We arrived early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early with a surcharge of 15€. I thought it was the best decision after a 7 hours bus ride!😆

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. Great location with plenty of food options, coffee shops & supermarket nearby. Nice to have a room with coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. About the only thing I would change is the addition of an in-room safe. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.
