Excellent stopover hotel on the way to Turkey – highly recommended!
We’ve been staying at Novotel Szeged every year for many years during our travels to Turkey, and it never disappoints. The hotel is super comfortable, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. As a family, we truly feel at home here. We’ve recommended it to many of our relatives, and they’ve also had great experiences. A perfect place to relax during a long journey!

The aircon in the room is not working. The room is stuffy. The lift was not working on the ground floor. So we must carry our luggage by stairs to the second storey to take the lift to our room. The room is smaller than expected because the balcony is part of the floor area. The toilet is small and tight. The breakfast buffet is good. Must take taxi or tram to the train station to other cities.

Wonderful family stay warm hospitality & great value!We stayed at Novotel Szeged as a family and had a truly pleasant experience. Our kids loved the hotel from the cozy little playroom with board games to the delicious breakfast buffet that kept them excited each morning.One of the best features is the "business lunch" offer at the restaurant, very affordable and perfect even for families. The entire staff was exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional they truly made us feel welcome.As returning guests and Accor loyalty members, we were kindly given an upgrade to a beautiful room overlooking the Tisza River such a thoughtful gesture!The location is perfect: just a short walk from a lovely children's park with bunnies, and close to the Aqua Park, ideal for a summer break.Highly recommended for both family and business travelers and we’ll definitely be back!

we checked in and the lady that helped us was very kind. So we got our room we went up and we got a room that wasn’t cleaned there was towels over the place not clean towels and a bottle of water someone else had bought. We went back down and got another room which was clean. She apologized and gave us a complimentary drink. we went to go get a soft drink. (Soda) and the lady at the bar couldn’t speak English well. we gave her something that said that we get complimentary drinks. And she just said what is this? In a rude way. but the beds were very good! 👍🏻 the view was very good as well! The balcony included a table and two chairs. And there was not a lot included in breakfast. to those who come with children. There is a machine that makes pancakes just wave your hand at the sensor and it makes how many pancakes you want. (Mini pancakes) overall the beds were pretty comfy to sleep in!

They give only one very small bottle of mineral water per room. So, if you stay with two persons in the room you have to share it. When we asked for one extra bottle they told us we had to pay for it.

The breakfast was very poor, not fresh and not tasty at all.
They didn't have any whole grain brown bread, only all kinds of unhealthy white breads.

Was fortunate to get upgraded to the top floor in a clean, spacious room that had a lovely balcony with chairs and a table. My husband and I felt very comfortable coming back to the room to recharge and relax. The hotel had an expansive and delicious buffet breakfast, too.
