We recently stayed at this hotel and had a wonderful experience. Our rooms were simple but cozy, very clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The washroom was modern, well equipped, and spotless. We also appreciated the complimentary continental breakfast, which was well stocked, generous, and offered a great start to each day.
The location was perfect, an easy walk to shopping, public transit, and many popular tourist destinations.
What truly made our stay exceptional, however, was the staff member Farooq. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and always eager to help. He gave us fantastic recommendations for places to visit, restaurants, entertainment, and even tips to save money and get around efficiently. He took genuine interest in hearing about our day and made us feel very welcomed and cared for. His warmth and willingness to go above and beyond made our trip so much better.
Thank you Farooq. We are truly grateful for everything you did to make our stay memorable.

Nice hotel in an ideal location in downtown close to the shops in Laugavegur and bus stops. Reception was friendly and were helpful to answering any questions or requests we had during our stay. Rooms were small and basic but good if you're just using it as a place to rest during the night. Be aware that the rooms are not very soundproofed and that you may hear noise from the bar located across the street late at night especially on weekends.

Fantastic hotel in a great location, fantastically placed for the bus stops, the shopping in town or the nearby supermarket. Farooq was a great host, incredibly friendly and fantastically knowledgeable on all things Iceland even though he hails from West Yorkshire. We stayed in room 505 so was a bit away from any street noise, highly recommend and would definitely stay again

Second visit to this hotel. It maybe not the fanciest of hotels or the biggest, but the staff, location and cleanliness make this hotel fantastic. Front desk,Rushka and Farooq (who asked me to say he was the handsome guy) are first class. Nothing is too much trouble. Night staff and housekeeping are also great. This hotel does not have a bar but there are plenty nearby, so this for me is not a negative, infact this adds to the charm. Bus stop 14 or 6 gets you to the hotel. Both are around 300 metres away. Breakfast is a typical European affair, meats, cheese, bread, porridge, eggs and tea, coffee and fruit juice. I love this hotel and I am already planning my return.

The hotel has a good location in the city center. The front desk service was excellent; a Pakistani man there even gave us a map showing us places to visit. The room was very nice and spacious, but the kettle leaked.

The location is great. The front desk staff were very friendly and recommended nearby restaurants. The breakfast was not luxurious, but very delicious. We were able to check in earlier than expected.

Well located. Walls are thin and could be noisy at night.

Location was central and absolutely perfect. The bed was comfy and our room was huge.
The staff, absolutely CANNOT fault. The reception, all of them, warm, friendly, remembered our names and gave us some amazing tips for places to visit with our 2 year old daughter, nothing too much trouble.
Breakfast was really nice and varied slightly day to day on options.
Will definitely return.

Great location in the centre of the Reykjavik. Very close (max 5 minutes) from bus stop 14 being meeting point fot many day trips. Maybe the best bed I have experienced at the hotel. And daily cleaning. Tasty breakfasts. Recommend! 9,5/10

When the food is ready, the chef yells at you like your parents would, if you had done something that was definitly not right! ? But the food is delicious, best noodles i've had in a long time. Everything is fresh and made from scratch!
28.07.2017 Katie
Super delicious noodle house with noodle soups with different bases. Very easy to get vegetarian options of all their dishes and they have a good range of spiciness to choose from. Went back twice, it was so good! Prices are decent for Reykjavik and the quantity was very generous.

A serious pizza to be fair. Great job. I'll be back again soon.

Try the ravioli. Very good. Order a pizza to go. The quantity is so less you would feel hungry soon.
27.12.2017 Magnus
F**ing disgusting. We were sitting next to the pizza maker. The heaters where behind us. The waiter then dropped our childrens pizza right in front of us, told us that they would make another one. The waiter put the pizza RIGHT ON THE HEATER BEHIND US. Then a few moments later he brought it back to us. Claiming it was a new one.

Ok food, better to spend a bit more and get amazing food somewhere else

My friends and I touring Iceland came here on a Sat night around 9pm. It was still early enough where they had an acoustic guitarist singing cover songs. It wasn't that busy and had available seating at the time. It was nice and chill and we got to sing along too! However sometime later they started taking away the tables and chairs and more and more and MORE people started pouring in! Young crowd too. We got super lucky bc a group of people left their booth table which ended up being right by the DJ. At this point the it was a packed club (which I didn't expect at all lol). As with any packed club, it was very hard to get drinks and to move anywhere in the bar, and there was a long line for the bathroom to which my friends also added that 2 chicks got in a fight (sounds kinda interesting actually). They played American Music the rest of the night and even with the negative aspects of busy clubs, I still had a grand time, but of course alcohol helps lol.

Top quality sound system, my wife and I heard the music (and revellers) extremely clearly in my hotel over 50 metres away and all night long to boot! The set was top notch with good flow and a good selection of various upbeat music, the sound system made it so clear I could "shazam" over 80% of the DJ's set!
What an experience!
11/10 would definitely not sleep again!
13.09.2017 Rohith
Don't even think of going there. The worst club I have ever been to. 200 people cramped in a place where it can hold maximum 50 People spilling beer all over the place, drunk fightings, I can go on and on.

Great place, been there several times. Always great service and nice staff. Their MangoTango is phenomenal
