My stay at Parliament Hotel in Reykjavík was a wonderful experience. From the moment I arrived, everything felt smooth and well organized. The staff were very helpful, especially when it came to arranging transportation to the attractions and to the airport, which made my trip much easier and stress-free.

The location of the hotel is excellent—close to everything and perfect for exploring the city. I also loved how convenient it was to walk around nearby shops, lake and attractions.

Breakfast was nice with good variety, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was comfortable and welcoming. The rooms and facilities were well maintained, and spacious.

I truly enjoyed my time there and would happily stay at Parliament Hotel again when visiting Reykjavík.

Nice stay and friendly staffs

it was very nice overall. the shower had a great water pressure, the shower booth was very roomy and it had a swing door that helped from the water going everywhere. the bathroom itself was big and very clean. i got daily bottled water which was nice, and the tab water tasted great too. there was no view from my room window, because it was facing inside the building. i could see the other rooms’ windows but hardly a piece of sky. the coffee and tea options in the room was good. the bed was very comfortable. sheats were crispy clean. really nice tv, too. and the location was great. the bus station #1 is like 2 minutes away, which seemed like the biggest tourist pickup location in Reykjavík for many day tours.

First time in Reykjavík and if I ever return I will always stay here. Service is becoming a lost art, but not here. Paulina single handedly saved one of my party’s travel and went above and beyond in the fastest of moments to preserve a potential financial loss for my friend. As well, Robert made our dining experience personal and provided most wonderful local recommendations for our travels. The staff make this hotel what it is, and it has truly been my best experience at a hotel in years.

This was one of the better hotels I stayed at during my trip to Iceland. The environment was clean and tidy, and the room was quite spacious. The female front desk staff's attitude towards Asians was a bit indifferent, while the male staff was very enthusiastic; the difference in attitude was quite noticeable. There was free water in the room.

The front desk team delivered outstanding service. When our airport driver was running late, they promptly assisted us in getting in touch with him and even offered to arrange an alternative driver to ensure we wouldn’t miss our flight. Their attentiveness and proactive support were greatly appreciated.

One area that could be improved is the air quality in the gym. There was a noticeable plastic odor, possibly from new equipment, and better ventilation would make the space more comfortable.

What an AMAZING hotel. The food the location the rooms, all of it. The view from our room looked directly out into Parliament Square which was beautiful with all the trees lit up. Breakfast every morning gave the choice of a buffet or a fresh cooked hot breakfast with many choices. The location being right in the middle was great for access to everything you need and right next to Bus Stop #1 for collection for all tours in the area, which is great when your getting dropped off at near 1am after a northern lights excursion. 5 ⭐

We stayed at the Iceland Parliament Hotel for two nights and I’m really glad I chose it. I originally had a reservation at The Edition but canceled it after realizing the Parliament Hotel’s location was far more central. After seeing both areas, I’m confident I made the right choice. The hotel is literally in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy to walk everywhere, which was perfect for sightseeing and exploring.

The service was nothing over the top, but the staff was attentive, kind, and helpful throughout our stay. We were upgraded thanks to our Amex Platinum benefit, and the room was spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable.

Breakfast at the restaurant was good and a nice way to start the day. However, dinner was a different story. The restaurant was very busy, and while the atmosphere was nice, the food itself was not memorable and definitely not worth the price in our opinion.

Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its unbeatable location, comfortable rooms, and pleasant service. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location! This hotel is central and within walking distance to many key points of interest. The room was spacious and beds were very comfortable after a day of exploring. Great feature here is the geothermal spa located right on the premises! Breakfast buffet was a key feature also to start our days with plenty of fresh buffet options and made-to-order items. I loved the history of the building as well as the contemporary art work that guests can explore. This is an art lover's dream!
