We used it as our honeymoon accommodation!
We spent a total of 5 nights at Fosshotel Reykjavik. We extended our stay at the hotel! The breakfast was varied and bus stop 12 was right in front, so it was convenient to freely go on tours!!
And the information staff were very friendly. If you said you could see the aurora, we went to the beach 5 minutes away to see it. It's a place you won't regret staying at! The fact that it's a little far from the city center allowed us to have a good night's sleep and relax.

The room is in a good location with convenient parking around.

This hotel was good value. It was near the city centre and easy to get to. Friendly staff and great breakfast. I would recommend waiting until 7 to come down for breakfast to avoid the large tour groups.

A relatively new hotel, ca. 20 min by walking from the famous city center bar streets.
The service at the reception is good (it seems that the tourist industry is fully in Polish hands, this feels a little awkward).
Why is the room with toilet for disabled individuals if not requested?

The recommended bath Laugardalslaug near the hotel needs urgently refurbishing.
The Flybus transport from hotel to KEF was well organized and not expensive.

The location of the hotel is acceptable, only a quarter of an hour's walk from Rainbow Street. We booked a family room for three days, and the indoor area was quite large. The front desk took a long time to check in, and gave me a room number of 444. I asked the front desk guy if I could change it, and he said no option without thinking. He said that the rooms were occupied. I was very angry and showed him Booking/Ctrip and asked him what rooms were being sold on the platform? Then he said, come back in an hour. Very dissatisfied with this service. The breakfast was not bad, but there were too many people diners. There were groups of European and American senior citizens, and the place was crowded with people.

A very bad experience. Checking in late at night cost an extra 1,300 euros. I had already paid with Ctrip, and they charged an extra sum.
After staying for 4 days, I forgot to clean for two days. What was the room like when I went out, and what was the room like when I came back
The bed sheets are dirty, there is no free bottled mineral water in the room, no disposable slippers, the laundry service is closed on weekends, outrageous,
I communicated with the front desk of the hotel several times, each time the attitude was good, and it was still the same when I came back the next day. By the way, the phone in the room was broken, so I had to go downstairs to the front desk to complain

Warm greeting on arrival. Staff friendly and helpful when faced with needing to change our stay. Free coffee and water in the reception area. Great bar downstairs.
