Even though it is in the middle of Bangalore, you do not hear any noises from the street. In addition the people working at the hotel were super helpful and did everything what they could to support for any request

- rooms were new and sparkling and spacious - Most important was the Taj service- In the dinner buffet they did not have chicken curry (that day was mutton day). Chef specially made chicken curry for me

The Oberoi Bangalore, in my opinion, is a hotel that does not go beyond a four-star level. The property feels very old, and the furniture in the rooms is outdated and no longer very functional

This was a celebration of our 43rd wedding anniversary, having been married at this same West End Hotel on September 4th, 1982. Oddly there was no mention of it by any of the staff to us, not even a congratulatory word

The experience at Taj west end was really memorable. We came in for our 5th anniversary and Taj team were kind enough to upgrade the room. The restaurant machan is very kind and the staff are very courteous

But I guess I was expecting too much. Nevertheless, the 24 hours we spent at Taj West End Hotel was a very welcome and tranquil retreat from hustle and bustle just outside the walls

While the ambience, rooms, and food make the stay enjoyable, a more polished and responsive service experience would elevate the hotel to the world-class standard it is known for

However, the hotel needs significant improvement in the breakfast experience at Machan, particularly in terms of the variety and taste of the food, which was quite average
