My experience at Hotel M Grand was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always ready with a smile and eager to help with anything I needed. The rooms were spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed, with every comfort thoughtfully provided — from plush bedding to modern amenities.
The hotel’s location is perfect — close to major attractions yet peaceful enough to relax and unwind. I especially loved the dining experience; the restaurant offered a delicious variety of dishes, and breakfast each morning was a real treat.
What truly stood out, though, was the level of service. Every interaction felt personal and genuine, which made my stay even more memorable.
I would highly recommend Hotel M Grand to anyone looking for comfort, elegance, and exceptional hospitality. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

*Great rooms and hospitality, but beware of hidden late check-out fees*
I stayed at Hotel M Grand from Feb 9–11. While the rooms were clean and the general hospitality was good, my experience was soured by a complete lack of transparency regarding late check-out charges.
On the morning of my departure (Feb 11), I settled my entire bill, including room charges, restaurant bills, and laundry. I explicitly told the reception I would be checking out at 7:00 PM due to a midnight flight. They confirmed the payment was final and even asked for tips for their service.
However, after I returned from lunch/shopping to freshen up, they suddenly demanded a full extra day’s charge for a 7:00 PM check-out, or 50% if I left within 30 minutes. It is impossible to get a wife and a 5-year-old ready in 30 minutes while also managing travel plans.
After a phone discussion with the MD, they agreed to a 50% charge for a 7:00 PM check-out, but the damage was done. It wasn't about the money; it was about the poor communication and lack of respect for a tourist's time. To ask for tips and advance laundry payments but "forget" to mention check-out fees feels very unprofessional.

Comfortable rooms and a cool environment. The staff were welcoming and attentive.
There were many options for the breakfast and food was good. We had to order food for dinner which was also good and delicious.
The hotel is also situated close by the Chennai VAC biometrics centre.

The rooms are really nice and comfortable. We had a small issue with hot water, but the staff were great and quickly changed our room. AC was faulty but provided the comfort needed when set at 16c.
Service throughout the stay was super — everyone was friendly, fast, and attentive. Breakfast was also very good with plenty of options.
The hotel could use a bit more ventilation as there was a slight damp smell. Also, the front desk lady, though friendly, did seem a bit pushy about tips and extra charges, which felt unprofessional.
Overall, a pleasant stay — great service and staff, just a few things that could be improved.

I had recently attended a workshop in M Grand, Chennai. The hospitality of the staff there was admirable.
From the moment I arrived with other fellow doctors, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Every interaction was warm, professional, and attentive. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant team, everyone greeted us with genuine smiles and a willingness to help.

I say in my bottom of the heart, it is very much appricated from your sevice and al so all lisioning works. Food and amenities are very excellent.

For visiting us visa the hotel is very good option, room and wash room were quite clean although it room was bit small. Breakfast spread can be improved with quality of food
