Hotel VIP International in Kolkata

Pleased stay at sealdah station but avoid this hotel. Filthy rooms, No servicing staff. No place to hook the used cloths.And most important thing every bathroom has a big hole which they claim for ventilation but it is approachable from the false roof and I personally verified this and scolded the management. Please check this thing properly.
Please stay anywhere except this hotel.

I deeply regret staying here and feel compelled to warn others this place was a complete nightmare. The room was full of cockroaches, making it impossible to feel comfortable, and the bed and bedsheets were dirty and clearly not cleaned properly. The fans were in poor condition and barely worked. The staff were the worst I have ever experienced rude, careless, and completely uninterested in helping with any issues. The only reason I stayed was because the visa embassy was right next to this place; otherwise, I would have left immediately. This hotel lacks basic cleanliness and hospitality, and I strongly advise travelers to avoid it unless they want to go through a stressful and unhygienic experience.

‼️‼️ please don’t ever book this hotel. We had a very terrible experience during our stay . We booked this hotel through trivago at a decent price. When we arrived at the hotel there was a strange smell coming out of the hotel and they provided us a small cubical room which was pathetic. The knobs of the main gate was broken and it was a major safety concern for us . The room looked very cheap and disgusting. We then went and asked for upgrade by paying extra money . But it was worthless. The room provide was bit large but it was so unhygienic . The staff were not responsive and the amenities provided was pathetic . Literally anyone can get disease staying at that hotel. At night there was huge noise and to our surprise there were big rats present in the room . We instantly checked out of the hotel and complained the receptionist about it. But they only told us to give reviews online. I won’t suggest any persona to stay at this hotel .

The room was a mess. It looked like the hallways or rooms hadn't been cleaned in ages. The curtain was broken, the bathroom had no locks, and the fan was either on full blast or off. No sunlight got in, and the lighting was even worse.

The service was just as bad. My room didn't have a blanket. Even after I brought it up right after checking in and multiple times after that, we didn't get one until we really made a fuss at 11 pm.

Basically, it was a nightmare. The stay felt super unsafe, especially for a family on vacation.

⭐ Absolute Nightmare – Do Not Stay Here!

My first trip to Kolkata was ruined by VIP International Hotel.

1. Horrific Conditions:
From the start, the hotel was a disaster. Foul odors, broken lift, peeling walls, torn floors, stained bed and sheets, dusty lamps, and filthy curtains. It was absolutely unbearable, and we opted to eat outside.

2. Disturbing Bar and Horrible Room:
We were told to wait at the bar, but it was uncomfortable and disturbing. The bar had girls dancing vulgarly, and men asking for money. We left quickly.

We were then moved to Room 316, expecting better, but it was worse: broken window, stained chair, filthy washroom, broken shower, unusable jet spray, and dirty toilet seat. The room was unhygienic, and I couldn’t sleep due to constant itching. No drinking water was provided, and despite repeated requests, we never got any.

3. Shocking Police & Tax Incident:
Around 12:10 PM, police and tax authorities knocked on our door and ordered us to vacate within one hour as the hotel was being shut down for tax issues. The hotel staff lied, saying it would be resolved quickly, but we were left in chaos and at last the hotel got shutdown.

4. Inhumane Hotel Management:
The hotel staff showed zero responsibility. They did not arrange alternative accommodation, never informed guests about the situation, and denied compensation for the inconvenience.

The sweet thing is that the Tax officers were sorry about what we had to experience on our first visit to Kolkata.

I checked in for two days in the hotel ..The rectionists are good gentle and professional.The day i was checking out one guy took the keys and went to my room ,i was paying the outstanding amount to another guy who was wearing a tie and payment done.Suddenly the guy who took keys from me came down getting a towel which was white towel with red patches on it saying this is your towel you ruined it and pay extra 500 bugs. That was not at all my towel and that red colour was paint,neither im a painter ..They started arguing and fight started.I said a towel cost would not be more than 100 bugs.They started quarell and took 300 bugs from me,This is a game they are playing for money..Till now they didnt give me my bill of the stay.They took 1000 bugs extra for only the coffees and roti idal that i ordered there..When i asked the bill they said system not working and we will send you the bill later ..This is what guys dont ever get into that hotel ...They are looting money i hope the owner of the hotel sees my review,It went only with a towel think if they break anything else which is costly and put it on our head..Never ever dont check into that hotel..I have buisiness work again for next one year i will never get into that hotel...

Rooms are worst…Really not good…please don’t ever book this hotel…Dirty place…All curtains are not cleaned ..Staff won’t respond properly…please take action..there is no cancellation if tell rooms are not good..

The hotel room was worst in condition.
1. There were plenty of small cockroaches in the hotel washroom.

2.Washroom shower was broken.

3. Hotel restaurant was not in a good condition. There were no lights in the restaurant.
4. Breakfast food was of mediocre quality.
Overall the hotel stay experience was not good at all.

The hotel is not well maintained. I changed 3 rooms . First room was not painted and tidy. 2nd room there was water leakage in airconditioner and whole room is filled with water. 3rd room the bathroom was not good. Complimentary breakfast not given. The switch points are very old. Not clean

Very dirty houskeeping, towels and blanket is not cleaned I am giveing 0 star it I have not taken food
