Dirty duvets, 24/7 flyover noise, and a broken water heater on checkout day. When we mentioned it, the staff's enthusiasm to help was... non-existent. They knew we were leaving anyway.

My aged mother and I ended up rushing through lukewarm baths just to salvage our itinerary.

"Budget hotel" shouldn't mean "zero standards." Skip this one.

The description of what is shown and the actual rooms are quite opposite because of dirt. Blankets provided were without cover and smelled so bad. Every time we asked for plates or spoons, it had leftover food marks in it, not once, not twice but 3-4 times. No cleaning done properly. Needs serious improvement in cleanliness everywhere. Don’t know how did they manage to get good rating or if its fake.

I don't know about others but this budget hotel suits me just fine. It is in Central Kolkata, very near to Chowranghee, New Market, Park Street and other such business and corporate locations.
It's food service is not up to the mark - but a hotel which can boast of being in the neighborhood of 8 / 10 best Kolkata eateries can afford it. Just next door is Karim's and Haji Saheb, Ar Salan, Mann-o-Salwa, Shaikhs, Ammi Jaan, Zeeshan, Elahi, Azad Hind Dhaba, Ruslaan, etc etc are walking distance.
Tea, snacks, sweets, medicine, cigarette, biryani are all at a stones throw, even a desi chinese joint and barber. What more can one think of while on a vacation or business trip.
For Muslim travellers please note Masjids are literally next door
Please get your own iron and hangers and you are sorted - be it 2 days or a month - I have done both here and many combinations in between

We stayed here for 2 days and the staff is super polite and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel so every place is pretty convenient to reach by public transport. The owners are super amazing. So much soo that we were running late for our Train they initially helped finding a cab but since we couldn’t find any they offered to drop us while they were on their way to their home.

Had a very comfortable stay. The staff was very polite and respectful. I really liked the decor of the room. The location is really nice. Overall, I enjoyed it and I totally recommend this hotel!!

Very nice hotel staff was very cooperative and friendly, mainly Ms dolly singh and Shiraz, front office dress code very nice and good looking.quick service,room was very neat and clean .such a great stay in hotel acme ,food was also awesome and delicious, location was also great ,guys I suggest to you please visit the hotel acme.there is special offer going on like free breakfast, chocolate, fruit basket and many more

Very happy to vist here, and all staff members were very friendly behavior. Room and service are very excellent and location is very porch. I will share many reference to my friends and all office staff to vist there, when ever you went to kolkata. I love to vist anagi in this property.

i wish ther was something like"very very poor" or "third-class" sort of rating , especially under the "Service" section. It was amazing how the manager just blatantly lied about a particular loyalty card program.
the food is excessively high-priced but that i guess is part and parcel of wannabe elite dining places. Me and my friends had got a discount coupon from wow dining on Chote Nawab's food bill, but the manager just completely denied the discount.
The overtly exaggerated bill was not as pinching as the realisation that we had been duped by the manager of an otherwise nice(?) restaurant...
My condolences and best wishes to whoever visits that place
