Risata Bali Resort and Spa in Kuta

The location of the resort is handy as it is near the airport and literally on a busy street opposite a 24hr store so you can easily pop out to get water. ( You only get a 300ml glass spring water a day for free). The studio room I was in unfortunately was near a sewage section so opening the balcony was pointless as there was a stench; maybe the rainy season had something to do with this? (rm 2015). The gutters overflowed and flooded the resort and main road when there was heavy downpour...so perhaps not a drainage problem exists. The room was cleaned daily, we had a beautiful fruit bowl on arrival; toiletries also given daily. The breakfast buffet was very good and had variety, except no proper coffee - that is payable. ( there is an ONPOINT cafe a 3 min walk away). The facilities like spa and laundry are way more expensive ( 4 -10x the cost outside) - so beware. They do let you open a tab; the restaurant food was extremely delicious - tried a few dishes. There is some live music on a few nights - that was really nice too. Overall, the staff are very nice and helpful; it was spacious and convenient. I would recommend it for value/ budget travellers and short stays.

great place for either a stopover or extended stay. lovely pool, good breakfast, great service and if you dont want to get stuck in bali traffic its the perfect spot

This is a beautiful garden hotel with a distinctive Southeast Asian charm. While some of the facilities felt a little dated, the cleanliness was good, the surroundings were beautiful, and the service was excellent.

Overall, I highly recommend this resort!
We chose this place because we were looking for good value-for-money accommodation near the airport. It's a mid-sized resort and turned out to be an excellent choice.
What stood out most was the incredibly friendly staff. The food was also reasonably priced and quite delicious. We noticed a lot of international tourists staying here as well! (Interestingly, we seemed to be the only Koreans during our stay.) The amenities were pleasant and quiet to use. A quick 5-minute walk leads to the beach, where seeing locals enjoying the fun and relaxed atmosphere was something I personally really loved.
This was one of the places my husband and I stayed during our honeymoon, and my husband even said he'd definitely come back to Risata on our next Bali trip!
It was a truly wonderful start to our Bali vacation!

I stayed here during Nyepi and it was nice. Some of the reviews say it's an "old" hotel but it's been renovated and you can barely tell. It's huge and the grounds are very nice, you don't find such places with the newer hotels in Bali as they don't have as much space. The pool is huge and there's a good Indian resto on site. There's a bunch of stores for water/beer right across the street. And if you want you can even walk to/from the airport. For the price I can't really complain esp the suites are spacious and nice. The beach as usual is filthy but that's not the hotel's fault, every politician in Bali shld be put in a dungeon for how they ignore the trash issues at beaches in Bali. It's disgusting and pathetic.
