Jerusalem District, Jerusalem, 4 Tsfanya Street 🧭 Map
What a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated in antiques. Very artsy, creative and fun. Lots of plants and plenty of common area places to sit indoors and out. It is like a secret hideaway. Artistic people will love it! The room is clean, the bathroom is small but very functional. My double room has a fridge, microwave, sink and hot water urn. It even comes with disposable dishes for...
The staff is super nice and welcoming, the bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious with a fridge, microwave and a water kettle. We got a voucher to try a special dish for free in a restaurant close by, which was really nice. When sharing our feedback about the shower, we got a really good service and a free voucher to breakfast to compensate. When using the shower in our room, there was...
Very clean rooms and a funky decor are what you will find here. And in the heart of the ultra Orthodox neighborhood of Geula. Lots of bus stops nearby and walking distance to everything. You are in the part of the city that never sleeps and if you are lucky they will have a room with a small porch (mirpeset) if you ask for it. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bathrooms are even smaller...
A wonderful hotel with very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious (mine had a table with chairs, two beds, kitchenette, bathroom, and a balcony with seating) and kept very clean. The beds were made and the towels replaced daily. On Shabbat, the staff left a fresh loaf of bread in the room along with a kind note. The hotel has a washer and dryer on site for guests interested in doing laundry. The lobby...
Tzefania Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay In Jerusalem. From the eclectic decor to the beautiful garden, we felt transported to a different world. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the nearby sites. The attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the hotel, and we loved the sense of history and character it exuded. We would definitely recommend this hidden...
Believe the owner's own write-up. I will just add the customer service is world-class.

We had a great weekend with our children and grandchildren. They gave us 5 rooms next to each other and the kids really enjoyed our stay. It was really a nice Shabbat vacation!
Great, clean hotel with friendly staff and a nice wellness area. Fantastic food! The room was just right, perfectly clean, quality amenities and comfortable bed.
Nice resort friendly stuff good service 👍 food good big verity big pool inside and out side recommended for family or couples. Nice room for prayer 🙏. I was very happy and very recommended.
A perfect family getaway! It was a lovely Shabbat atmosphere, delicious food, clean and pleasant rooms, and just a really relaxing weekend. We enjoyed the tour of the kibbutz on Shabbat too! We had our own car, so the fact that the location is out of the way didn't bother us. The country club next door was incredible. We were there for under 3 days and my kids went swimming every day in the gorgeous...
The room was very comfortable with a view to the lawn next to the pool & beyond to the hills outside Jerusalem. A nice touch was the small plate of food, bottled water & chocolate provided on check-in.
Outstanding location for a family weekend. Lots to do and ample quiet places as well. Excellent food. Beautiful grounds. Easy access on public transportation as well as ample parking. Great service!

The entrance is a bit difficult to find. Enter here and ask in beforehand for the PIN to enter (the upper keyboard). The room is good, the reception is not always manned.
Great staff , great space , and great locals ! I stayed alone and travelled alone and it was great experience for me :)
A great convenient stay in the heart of jerusalem This property has a perfect location in Jerusalem. It’s walkable to the main sites and very close to the city rail line. The apartment is really well designed and truly makes the most of its size. We were a family of 5 and felt spacious enough. The downside of the stay was the communication before our arrival. It was pretty difficult to reach them...
It is a fantastic location. But the hotel isn’t great. Shower leaks everywhere, the fire alarms in the hall beep every 2 minutes and non of the receptionists seemed to care and there is construction or something outside that is very loud early. Fine if you get it at a great price, but know what you are getting
Overall, an exceptional stay. Very friendly staff who let me check-in a tad bit early! Very trendy room. Perfect location for Jaffa street and shopping at the shuk, to the light rail and to the Old City. Moldy shower but exceptionally clean otherwise. I would bring my own hair dryer next time (not an amenity). I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel was clean. The shower leaked water all over the bathroom floor - which I cleaned up. All in all it was fine. But - it was almost impossible to find. I went to the address - and I don't see a thing that resembled a hotel. It turns out, you need to walk through a rusty gate and down a flight of stairs (below street level). It occupies just a small space all on one level. If a lady from...

Amazing atmosphere. If you want to get away from the rush of the big cities, you must come here. Peaceful place in the middle of the mountains of Jerusalem. I stayed one night in a room with an exit to a beautiful garden. We still can hear birds singing!!! Wonderfull Staff. Highly recommended.
This hotel is beautifully located in the hills to the West of Jerusalem. There are wonderful views from its terrace which is well equipped with garden furniture. Our room had a terrace with its own armchairs and table. The rooms are fairly basic but come with everything that you could reasonably ask. Jerusalem District, Jerusalem, 18 King George St. 🧭 Map
The location is perfect. Close to transportation and near shops/attractions. Hotel itself is tired and a bit rundown. The bedroom floor was covered in footprints and the bathroom could have been cleaner.
The front desk staff were kind and helpful. Location is very good, when the road construction is finished that will be excellent.
Super value. Building needs some renovation but is kept very clean and everything else is super and staff is friendly, courteous, helpful and abundant. Lots of delicious Jewish holiday and Sabbath meals available for purchase at competitive prices and also lots of religious services held in the hotel.
Clean. Good price. Outstanding location. Meals are delicious and plentiful. Helpful staff. Large room. Problem is that room has been renovated in a substandard non workman like manner. I would stay again because I don’t mind the deficiencies and it’s a great value.
Was a great location and rooms were big and updated
Smell of smoke in rooms and corridor. Gunshot hole in window. Bedroom door doesn't close

Breakfast was delicious in their beautiful front room. Tea and sweets and soup available in the lobby at night. Great location easily walkable to Old city, Ben Yehuda and the light rail. Nice staff especially Elie made it a super experience
Villa Brown Jerusalem is elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Beautiful design, comfortable rooms, and a warm, attentive staff create a truly relaxing stay. A stylish retreat that perfectly captures the spirit of Jerusalem.
Excellent engaging front desk and breakfast staff. Magdi, Eli, Mustaffa were lovely and attentive. Property is beautiful.
The hotel is full of charm, very well located, an old residence…. Special mention to Mustapha at reception.
Comfortable bed and clean large bathroom No closet or drawers so had to live out of the suitcase. Very inefficient.

A hotel with good price/value ratio. Though not very clean, people are very friendly and helpful.
Simple, economical and clean rooms with excellent location within view of Herod's gate. Good breakfast (pita, eggs, salad, hummus, cereal) with 24 hour coffee/tea. Hard to beat the value ($90 usd/night) and staff are very friendly/helpful.
Hotel was going through refurbishment. That's why I have given 3 stars. Once refurbished, another star can be added in rooms abd service. Ideally located at the heart of East Jerusalem. All the monuments were at a walking distance
Recently stayed at this place, the owner is very friendly and all the staff really welcoming. A stones throw from all the historic landmarks. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Would definitely recommend to others.
The owner was welcoming. The cleaner was cranky and rude. The second floor view is literally a graveyard. Location is nice.
We want to thank the whole Rivoli Hotel Team for the wonderful service and quality of everything we got there at our trip!!! For this price you won’t find a better place in Jerusalem. We recommend it to 100%, because we had the best time there.

Great location. Rich breakfast, we had a nice view from our room on the fifth floor, the rooftop is amazing and was totally empty after 23:00, the stuff is very nice and helpful. Overall, great room, lots of spacious and a...
Hotel is in very good position. The soundproofing is excellent. The staff very professional, attentive, helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very good variety. The only small things were attention to cleaning (rubbish bin full of previous customers waste) and minor cosmetic details in the room. The bathroom was good but having glass meant that turning on the light during the night might wake your...
I'm not usually one for a chain hotel, but this place has a semi independent vibe with its decor. We got a room on a high floor which gives you an amazing view of Jerusalem! The breakfast is lovely with a wide selection of hot/cold items. The staff were lovely and very helpful. The WiFi wasn't great as it kept dropping, which meant I had to keep signing in (and sometimes it didn't work). Location...
We stayed for Shabbat and shavuot holiday. Although the first evening was a bit problematic as it was the first major event they did, the rest was very smooth. We had a good time and would recommend the hotel. חוץ מבלגן בערב הראשון היה מאוד מוצלח. היה סיור מעולה! ממליצה. המחיר היה קצת יקר.
On the bright side - Good location within short walk from center. Beautiful decent sized rooms. Free parking usually available nearby. On the other side - Horrible service! especially at front desk. Would have graded 5 stars if not for the very bad service - had to ask about three times in order to get a baby crib which we paid for brought to the room. This is a review of the restaurant, one of the best in Jerusalem.
Amazing location, amazing service, amazing F&B outlet. Cannot be more perfect than this. They make you feel like home. Being a boutique hotel with only 14 rooms it makes the stay more special and personalized. The staff are like family members taking care of you like a family.
Walking distance from Jerusalem gates. Small rooms, but will work for a place to sleep...nothing fancy. Great olive tree fired ovens for pizza and steaks. Family atmosphere
Nice hotel with thick walls and high ceiling. Tried also the restaurant which offer nice local food. Just make sure you ask for no smoking area. Very helpful at the reception for any information you need. Short walking from old Jerusalem gate, that is a must seen. Easy from the location to take public transport to visit Bethlehem. I'd recommend it
Visited the restaurant a couple of times. Both middle eastern and Italian food are great. Pizza is excellent. Taybeh (local) beer goes well with the food. Friendly service with very good English. Reasonable prices. Definitely a great option for lunch or dinner!
Huge portions and a really good variety of local food and some international options

Jerusalem District, Jerusalem, HaHavatselet St 1, 94224 Elusalen, Ierusalim, Izrail 🧭 Map
For the price, it was what we expected. No complaints but this is definitely a budget hotel. No frills. Great location. Super nice staff. Easy in/out, no wasting time on paperwork. Parking is tricky so if bringing a car, be warned there is no nearby parking. We only stayed one night and didn’t spend much time in the hotel but it served our needs.
The owner was friendly and helpful and the location is very central. The bed sheets were clean but there were many small flies congregating in the bathroom because the window screen had a design fault were it has open gap letting the flies in. The overall cleanliness has room for improvement. Given the high cost of Jerusalem, the price of the room is reasonable. So you get what you pay for.
For two of us (married) the room was small by our normal standards in the USA. But…TV had 5+ English channels, shower in the corner was good with hot water, and small refrig served our needs. I would have liked a breakfast area but Aroma Coffee is 30 steps from the front door. No elevator and first rooms start on the 2nd floor. There was at least another floor above us.
I stayed at the Hotel Kaplan for a three week study program which was a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are clean, comfortable and provide you with the essentials, nothing more. While not an upscale hotel, the owners Eli and Nathan are very welcoming and are definitely part of the experience of staying there. A kitchen is available if you want to do light cooking. The rooms include a small refrigerator...

Perfect communication with the hotel, everything was quick and helpful. Great central location and very clean rooms. For the price, absolutely nothing to complain about. I’d be happy to come back.
I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The central location was not only convenient but also a great value for its price. The location is excellent. You can simply walk through the Mamilla mall to the Jaffa gate. Due to the location, there is traffic noise but it is lessened by closing the curtains. Fabulous location, very helpful staff and amazing breakfast! Building is in need of facelift but everything worked and would recommend to people who want to be in center of bustling Jerusalem.
The hotel room was clean and buffet breakfast good. The location makes it a big plus for quick access to old Jerusalem, makes it a place hard to get a good sleep at night. However, and this is a big drawback, the noise from the street can be phenomenal, and light sleepers will probably end up sleep deprived. Rooms facing Shameii street will have to listen to significant street noise at night and...
Very cosy room and nice breakfast, received free room upgrade.
I have spent a couple of nights in this hotel and I have enjoyed a lot. It is very well situated, good price and nice staff members, very helpful. When I arrived I had access to the room very much which is always appreciated after travelling. I liked it so much that I have added an extra night to my stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel
The hotel was very nice. Staff extremely friendly, we even got a free upgrade to a better room. The location was great as it is very close to the city center and in the middle of an area with many shops and restaurants. One comment that I have is that the breakfast was missing labels on the food so we needed to ask in case we did not recognize the food.
Nice central hotel. a minute walk to main jaffa street. There was a strong smell of sewage coming from the parking lot to the hotel. The service and the food in the dining room was excellent.

It’s the second time staying in this lovely hotel. It’s a room en-suite only with no elevator but it’s only one floor. There is no room service & reception is there only during the day. Incredible hotel for kosher travellers. Not many other options for those who keep Mehadrin.
Personal was nice and it was clean, the breakfast was good and it is a great location. However, we found it way too overpriced for what we got (and it wasn’t high season). The front desk staff was outstanding. The gentleman that was at the desk when we picked up our bags to head to the airport was so knowledgeable and proud of the property that I think he should be allowed time to provide tours - they would be excellent!
The staff was great minus their 7am to 10 am breakfast. I cant eat somewhere if I show up and you tell me its going to be another 20 mins before you open. The YMCA gym is a great bonus. Just like a YMCA in US. Just add a smoothie snack bar. The location is great. The gym hours are odd. It would be nice if you could work out before the city got going. 10am to 10pm... granted people in israel work out...

An exceptionally polite and calm hotel and an oasis of achitecturao beauty and old world charm, suffused with modern touches and full amenity. A real hidden gem.
We stayed as a couple at the YNCA Hotel for a long weekend. While the hotel itself was generally fine, our experience with the breakfast was extremely disappointing. The cleaning staff were great. I particularly liked this older gentleman. The woman who attends the breakfast buffet was very nice and efficient. The buffet was great, lots of choices.

I stayed for 4 nights. I have to qualify the review by saying that I spent very little time in the hotel (just sleeping and breakfast).
