Jerusalem District, Jerusalem, King David 24 🧭 Map
not my first time staying at the eldan hotel and always happy about the experience. location is great, breakfast is great and service impeccable!!
Room was clean and the staff was wonderful. Location is close to shops and old city.
Nice size clean room. Good lighting and plenty of hanging and shelf space in a self contained wardrobe Tasty breakfast lots of variety. Well worth the £9 I paid for it
Excellent location. Helpful staff. Good breakfast. Hotel needs some fix-up. Overall good value
I attempted to get breakfast, I was told I couldn’t because I didn’t pre-pay. That’s understandable. So instead of them offering me an option to purchase it or just add to my room bill the man at the front desk told me “No Breakfast.” Sorry but as a 40 year old man I’m not gonna put up with being talked down like a child. It’s ok, none of it look good anyways.
Easy parking Clean room but bathroom needs updating Excellent location Breakfast and dinner excellent

I was so fortunate to find this little gem. My son and I stayed for 20 nights in the family 2 bedroom apartment #5. It is not fancy or upscale, but it was clean, roomy, and quiet with a large private balcony. Nitzan was always available for whatever I needed, including a great cappuccino! This apartment/hotel is family owned and staffed. The location is central to the shuk, the light rail and busses...
Everything great, room, location, staff.
The hotel is located near the train station (3 tram stops), right next to the stop. The hotel is very beautiful, decorated with retro cars (photos, models), impressive, and the staff is helpful. It was very comfortable. I recommend it.
Friendly staff, but problem with hot water.
The apartment was large and cozy. The bedding was clean but the apartment itself wasn't very clean and we cleaned a little more at arrival. Staff was friendly and helpful and flexible with our departure time. The location was perfect next to the Machane Yehuda market and a walking distance to the Western Wall. I'll totally go back. Thanks!
Was a very pleasant stay. Extremely clean when I arrived and cleaning available during my stay if i wanted. Close to everything. Perfect location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Great shower. Great overall value.

Jerusalem District, Jerusalem, 7 Shatz St 🧭 Map
I stayed there in January 2026 and had a good experience. The room was clean, the breakfast was excellent, and the location is tremendous, in the heart of Jerusalem.
There's really nothing negative to say about this hotel. It was all good. Clean, great location, quiet. The staff was particularly friendly. One female desk clerk was always helpful. The cleaning staff were great. I particularly liked this older gentleman. The woman who attends the breakfast buffet was very nice and efficient. The buffet was great, lots of choices.
Montefiore is a great hotel especially for large group. Its an Excellent hotel, Excellent Breakfast, Great Location, Exellent and accommodating staff..Sophie is exemplary! I Will definitely visit again! Christina
I stayed for 4 nights. I have to qualify the review by saying that I spent very little time in the hotel (just sleeping and breakfast). The room served mainly as a staging area for all my activities outside, and as such I did not need any amenities more than a clean room and good breakfast. The cost for my stay was $99 per night, which was a very good price considering the location, and the very...
Excellent breakfast that is officially served till 10 a.m., but you can come much later too. Also, you can ask for a disposable container and take it upstairs (there is a mini-refrigerator). For Shabbat observant, tea lights in a lobby Friday night; wine for Kiddush and Havdala. A few complains – cleanliness (under bed, switches, staircase, and bathroom’s door). We were in room 703– the only...
We were very pleased with this hotel. If you are on a budget and want a place that is basic, clean and in a GREAT location, this is your hotel. The hotel room is not luxurious but does the job. We weren't planning on spending a lot of time in the room anyway! The price was right and we loved the location. Maybe since we were there 6 nights, we were surprised one night with fruit, jam, and bottled water...

What a wonderful place to stay. It is beautifully decorated in antiques. Very artsy, creative and fun. Lots of plants and plenty of common area places to sit indoors and out. It is like a secret hideaway. Artistic people will love it! The room is clean, the bathroom is small but very functional. My double room has a fridge, microwave, sink and hot water urn. It even comes with disposable dishes for...
The staff is super nice and welcoming, the bed was really comfortable and the room was spacious with a fridge, microwave and a water kettle. We got a voucher to try a special dish for free in a restaurant close by, which was really nice. When sharing our feedback about the shower, we got a really good service and a free voucher to breakfast to compensate. When using the shower in our room, there was...
Very clean rooms and a funky decor are what you will find here. And in the heart of the ultra Orthodox neighborhood of Geula. Lots of bus stops nearby and walking distance to everything. You are in the part of the city that never sleeps and if you are lucky they will have a room with a small porch (mirpeset) if you ask for it. The rooms are small but comfortable and the bathrooms are even smaller...
A wonderful hotel with very helpful staff. The rooms are spacious (mine had a table with chairs, two beds, kitchenette, bathroom, and a balcony with seating) and kept very clean. The beds were made and the towels replaced daily. On Shabbat, the staff left a fresh loaf of bread in the room along with a kind note. The hotel has a washer and dryer on site for guests interested in doing laundry. The lobby...
Tzefania Hotel was an excellent choice for our stay In Jerusalem. From the eclectic decor to the beautiful garden, we felt transported to a different world. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring the nearby sites. The attention to detail was apparent in every aspect of the hotel, and we loved the sense of history and character it exuded. We would definitely recommend this hidden...
Believe the owner's own write-up. I will just add the customer service is world-class.

Very bare bones. No chairs, no towels, no towel FIXTURES, no kettle (though it WAS delivered upon request). Hotel is clean, though permeated by the smell of cigarettes. Furniture is of surprisingly good quality, better than average. The parking situation is abysmal. Breakfast ends at 9 am sharp, and the staff did not see fit to warn us beforehand. So that’s unfortunate. Wouldn’t be as bad if there...
Perfect location. Hot water, TV, Friendliness of staff
They kindly changed us to a room with a better view (Temple Mount). They also called a taxi for us to join an early morning tour, at a very reasonable price. We declined breakfast because we were joining an early morning tour, but they gave us a boxed breakfast to take home. You can't find a more accommodating hotel!! You can see the Temple Mount from the window. The atmosphere of the Church of the...
Good for pulgrims Personnel was very friendly, hospitable and helpful. Always ready to help.
Good, updated room with an excellent bed and excellent bathroom. Food was very good, although there was no variety day to day. Keep in mind, that if you are shopping in gift shops, most places list prices in US dollars or sometimes Euros. Thus, if you exchange money at the airport into the New Israeli Shekels. and pay with shekels, you will lose money on the conversion rate.
We stayed here as part of a tour group, so we had many meals here. The food was good, but day to day there was not much variety. Our room was excellent - air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was remodeled, lots of storage space, mattress on the bed was nice and firm (not like the soft, unsupportive mattresses in the US hotels). At night, the neighborhood appears to be rough. It was recommended...

This gem accommodation is the perfect place for a stay in the city. It is well located, in walking distance from restaurants and the Old City. While the breakfast is not the huge Israeli breakfast offered in big hotels, it is more than adequate. Be sure to leave some time to enjoy the beautiful inside garden.
A beautiful hotel in a very good location, walking distance from both the old city ("The new gate" / Jaffa gate) and Mahane Yehuda market. The staff was unbelievably friednly. One employee even went on to buy something thay we were missing. A quite and beautiful place.
Nice cosy hotel, wonderful garden to hang out, great service, however breakfast was a mess. Not enough food, very slow to fill the buffet
We visited the restaurant only. the food is wonderful, they offer authentic Russian food and also international dishes. The compound has a beautiful garden and its a very enjoyable experience overall.
A very nice hotel. I stayed there for one night and the staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend while staying in the Jerusalem area. The area looks to be a very Posh area, and therefore very safe. It is about 10 minutes walking distance from the old town Jerusalem wall which makes it very convenient when traveling and doing tourism in the old town Jerusalem. I would highly recommend this location...

We were greeted so warmly and appreciated the tea and sweets in the lobby. The architecture inside and out was beautiful including the terrace. Breakfast was delicious in their beautiful front room. Tea and sweets and soup available in the lobby at night. Great location easily walkable to Old city, Ben Yehuda and the light rail. Nice staff especially Elie made it a super experience
Villa Brown Jerusalem is elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Beautiful design, comfortable rooms, and a warm, attentive staff create a truly relaxing stay. A stylish retreat that perfectly captures the spirit of Jerusalem.
Excellent engaging front desk and breakfast staff. Magdi, Eli, Mustaffa were lovely and attentive. Property is beautiful.
The hotel is full of charm, very well located, an old residence…. Special mention to Mustapha at reception.
Comfortable bed and clean large bathroom No closet or drawers so had to live out of the suitcase. Very inefficient.

A hotel with good price/value ratio. Though not very clean, people are very friendly and helpful.
Simple, economical and clean rooms with excellent location within view of Herod's gate. Good breakfast (pita, eggs, salad, hummus, cereal) with 24 hour coffee/tea. Hard to beat the value ($90 usd/night) and staff are very friendly/helpful.
Hotel was going through refurbishment. That's why I have given 3 stars. Once refurbished, another star can be added in rooms abd service. Ideally located at the heart of East Jerusalem. All the monuments were at a walking distance
Recently stayed at this place, the owner is very friendly and all the staff really welcoming. A stones throw from all the historic landmarks. Breakfast buffet was amazing. Would definitely recommend to others.
The owner was welcoming. The cleaner was cranky and rude. The second floor view is literally a graveyard. Location is nice.
We want to thank the whole Rivoli Hotel Team for the wonderful service and quality of everything we got there at our trip!!! For this price you won’t find a better place in Jerusalem. We recommend it to 100%, because we had the best time there.

Was there with a Educational Oppertunities Tour, a phenominal experience. room was cozy. Location was on point close to all markets and sites. The food was top notch. Who knew kosher wasnt bland? :) hope to visit again. Oh, need to add, if you go in the winter, expect the heat to be on, even in the high 60s
Climate control in the room is limited to either cool or heat. We were on the 7 th floor and sweat all night. Rooms are small and old and in need of refreshment. Positive is the soaking tub. Great location.
So far, an excellent stay. No complaints at all.
The room was clean and pretty, the bed was very comfortable, the food was delicious, and the service was friendly. We had a wonderful stay here with very fond memories made back in September 2023 and would definitely stay here again.
We enjoyed our three nights here; the hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the old city. I think we were in one of the rooms that is awaiting renovation — I have no complaints about it, but it did seem in need of updating. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay and does a good job of offering the services you expect in this type of hotel.

Perfect communication with the hotel, everything was quick and helpful. Great central location and very clean rooms. For the price, absolutely nothing to complain about. I’d be happy to come back.
I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The central location was not only convenient but also a great value for its price. The self check-in process was a breeze, and the hotel's cleanliness and modern ambiance lived up to the expectations set by the pictures. The staff I interacted with were exceptionally nice, making my overall experience truly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to fellow...
The location is excellent. You can simply walk through the Mamilla mall to the Jaffa gate. Due to the location, there is traffic noise but it is lessened by closing the curtains. The room was very comfortable and the shower was amazing. They could not have been more accommodating. Highly recommend this hotel!!

Room size is small and simple. I stayed here one night so I didn’t care much. The bed is sooo comfy. Bathroom is tiny and ants appear looking for water. I booked through trip advisor for $100 a night which was a great price for such a last minute trip. Using the room for a shower and sleeping it was great

Excellent hotel! Located in a nice quiet neighborhood with many options for a romantic dinner, wine bars and more. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, and some rooms have balconies. The best value for money in the city, and they even serve a basic breakfast of coffee and pastries. Would come here again for sure.
My second stay here, each one over a week. Small spaces but thoughtfully designed and well equipped. Rehavia location, walkable distance to downtown, First Station and Old City. Several bus lines run nearby.
A quaint basic but clean and comfortable place. They are accommodation only, no meals provided although there are hot drinks available 24/7. We had a small garden suite which was extremely sweet! with a comfortable ensuite bedroom, and our own little private garden to relax in which was absolutely gorgeous
The people behind the desk were incredibly kind and helpful. After a less then pleasant experience at another hotel, I was thrilled that this hotel was not only able to give us our preferred room a day early, but also was able to check us in immediately. The rooms might be a tad small, but the shower and the garden makes it worth it. Location wise could not get better. 10 minutes to Old City and downtown...

Very nice hotel, wonderful, responsive and generous service. Central location. We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed this place a lot.
A boutique hotel with great and very personal service, very good location and beautiful rooms. Thank you hotel Noel for a great experience!
It’s the second time staying in this lovely hotel. It’s a room en-suite only with no elevator but it’s only one floor. There is no room service & reception is there only during the day. Make sure you aren’t booked in a room that is opposite a nightclub which we were. I haven’t slept for two days, besides the hooting that they love in this country. Making the noisy rooms soundproof would really help...

Family owned and ran. Great people who take pride in their establishment. Dublin Bar is 50 meters away and has a great group of people.
You stay what you pay for, this is not hotel but hostel, broken down need upgrade, the location is very strategic though
First of all, it's not actually a hotel, but a single floor in a building with a few rooms. The cleanliness is not great- the bed sheets had stains, the shower was not properly maintained- sealing rubber was loose, the sink tap was leaking, there was a crack in sink, the decorative tin tables had stains and looked very old. The noise from outside can be heard very clearly so that might be an issue...

Amazing location in the heart of Jerusalem. Walking distance from the old city and the wall, next to Mamila. Views from room and patio are breath taking
What a wonderful wedding! We attend a most beautiful Simcha at this extraordinary location - the view of the hall overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem was just beautiful! It made the wedding ceremony so much moire meaningful!
We were a group of fifteen staying Friday to Saturday. All the group were in rooms around a central area with comfortable seating and provisions for tea and coffee that was reserved for our use. The rooms are large and comfortable. They may not be so new, but they were clearly built to last and are well maintained. Friday night dinner was very good. Breakfast was a bit minimal, but nobody went hungry
This is a review for their catering service at the 4th floor. They are professionals, they have one of the nicest places in Jerusalem, and the staff is helpful and friendly (thank you Tami :) It is little pricy. But you get what you are paying for. Delicious food. Huge balcony with amazing view of the walls of the old city. Recommendation: try to start the venue before the sunset. The view is gorgeous...
The complex includes a community space with an unobstructed view of the Jerusalem Old City walls and Jaffa Gate, classrooms, lecture halls and a theatre. We were at the theatre last night for a touring performance of Soul Doctor, a Broadway show. The theatre is small, comfortable and adequate for most shows. The performance was great and drew a standing ovation.
Great theater. The encore theater company often puts on shows in English here, check them out. Street parking is an issue here, there is a paid parking lot nearby that isn't outrageous prices (where the dirt lot use to be for those that still remember it.)
