Very bare bones. No chairs, no towels, no towel FIXTURES, no kettle (though it WAS delivered upon request). Hotel is clean, though permeated by the smell of cigarettes. Good, updated room with an excellent bed and excellent bathroom. Food was very good, although there was no variety day to day. Keep in mind, that if you are shopping in gift shops, most places list prices in US dollars or sometimes Euros. Thus, if you exchange money at the airport into the New Israeli Shekels. and pay with shekels, you will lose money on the conversion rate.

We stayed here as part of a tour group, so we had many meals here. The food was good, but day to day there was not much variety. Our room was excellent - air conditioning worked well, the bathroom was remodeled, lots of storage space, mattress on the bed was nice and firm (not like the soft, unsupportive mattresses in the US hotels). The owners are so accommodating and helpful! Lovely space and have stayed there twice now this year. Location is convenient to the shuk and places to eat. There is a large park also within walking distance and taxis are easy to get to from the hotel.The local cats are a cute plus!!

Great location, warm family-run hotel We had a wonderful stay at the Biazi hotel. It is excellently located close to Machane Yehuda market, and we walked everywhere. This is a family-run hotel and the family are so welcoming and the hotel is filled with artefacts throughout the family history which is so special. Would definitely recommend.

This gem accommodation is the perfect place for a stay in the city. It is well located, in walking distance from restaurants and the Old City. While the breakfast is not the huge Israeli breakfast offered in big hotels, it is more than adequate. Be sure to leave some time to enjoy the beautiful inside garden.

A beautiful hotel in a very good location, walking distance from both the old city ("The new gate" / Jaffa gate) and Mahane Yehuda market. The staff was unbelievably friednly. One employee even went on to buy something thay we were missing. A quite and beautiful place.

The area looks to be a very Posh area, and therefore very safe. This is a group of apartments on the entire 21st floor in a residential/commercial bldg. The main lobby has a doorman and on the 21st floor there is a front desk office which is helpful for dropping off luggage etc. staff were friendly and accommodating and I appreciated communicating via What’s Ap. overall was what i expected for the price. Nice surprise was a common kitchen. The Bad: no tv or room fridge as advertised. It is up to other guest to let new arrivals in so prepare to wait outside for someone who happens to be leaving or coming. Pointing this out to the staff was met with shrugs. They didnt care.

Was there with a Educational Oppertunities Tour, a phenominal experience. room was cozy. Location was on point close to all markets and sites. The food was top notch. Climate control in the room is limited to either cool or heat. We were on the 7 th floor and sweat all night. Rooms are small and old and in need of refreshment. Positive is the soaking tub. Great location.

We enjoyed our three nights here; the hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the old city. I think we were in one of the rooms that is awaiting renovation — I have no complaints about it, but it did seem in need of updating. Overall, it was a pleasant place to stay and does a good job of offering the services you expect in this type of hotel.

It's a simple hotel, with a good price for its location. The employees are always nice and can speak in a very good english. The only problem for me was the tight bathroom.

We stayed April 2016 9 days it was a great convenience and off the the Main Street. Was quite and peaceful. The staff were great. The front desk clerks were incredibly knowledgeable with detail about where and how to go anywhere in Israel. The only thing is missing is an elevator. I would definitely stay there again.

First of all, it's not actually a hotel, but a single floor in a building with a few rooms. The cleanliness is not great- the bed sheets had stains, the shower was not properly maintained- sealing rubber was loose, the sink tap was leaking, there was a crack in sink, the decorative tin tables had stains and looked very old. We were a group of fifteen staying Friday to Saturday. All the group were in rooms around a central area with comfortable seating and provisions for tea and coffee that was reserved for our use. The rooms are large and comfortable. They may not be so new, but they were clearly built to last and are well maintained. Friday night dinner was very good. This is a review for their catering service at the 4th floor. The complex includes a community space with an unobstructed view of the Jerusalem Old City walls and Jaffa Gate, classrooms, lecture halls and a theatre. We were at the theatre last night for a touring performance of Soul Doctor, a Broadway show. The theatre is small, comfortable and adequate for most shows. The performance was great and drew a standing ovation.

Great theater. The encore theater company often puts on shows in English here, check them out. Street parking is an issue here, there is a paid parking lot nearby that isn't outrageous prices (where the dirt lot use to be for those that still remember it.)

Basic amenities, comfortable, clean except for bedsheets, pillows need to replace. While service is good, restaurant needs more varieties. Location ideal for walk to various attractions including spiritual immersion in the holy places.

The hotel location was not great for walking and local taxi fares were quite expensive. The rooms and facilities were very average. The buffet breakfast and dinner were not very appetising. There was a nice view from the pool area on 5th floor. The saving grace for this hotel was their staff who are well trained and very obliging.
