The place has great location and nice outside atmosphere but the rooms were dirty with mold in the shower. The A/C didn’t work properly and the shower leaked water really badly. Did not receive good service for our requests nor compensation. The pool is in the other hotel nearby and only for swimming. In addition the food quality and selection was poor.

Unfortunately the bathroom shower was dirty , the laminated floor in the room was peeling off, the bed base was torn and the window was filthy. The fridge is a small bar fridge missing the shelves. The AC vents were filthy. Even for a hostel it is unacceptable. The breakfast, taken at the Yaarim Hotel was very good and so was the second day breakfast on the premises. The common area was very nice and the views from the front rooms beautiful. Too bad about the state of the rooms.

They were very kind when I needed to postpone my stay last minute due to health issues and helped me reschedule. The staff is very kind. But the place itself feels unprepared for guests. The air con in our room didn’t work so they offered 2 ventilators, it was during a heat wave so of course we asked for a room with working air con. They upgraded us however at night we discovered that the air con is super noisy - sounded like a broken car. We barely slept. At 07:00 am we heard loud banging noises - apparently the rooms on the first floor were under construction! None of the guests were told that this disturbance is planned to happen! The place itself doesn’t feel clean, the pool of the kibbutz is filthy and very old. We were truly disappointed.

Not what we expected. It was disappointing in terms of the room and the service. Not recommended. The view is very nice but the place itself was very simple like a young guest house. If you’re looking for something nice for people that are over 40s - this is not the place for you.

Amazing atmosphere. If you want to get away from the rush of the big cities, you must come here. Peaceful place in the middle of the mountains of Jerusalem. I stayed one night in a room with an exit to a beautiful garden. We still can hear birds singing!!! Wonderfull Staff. Highly recommended.

This hotel is beautifully located in the hills to the West of Jerusalem. There are wonderful views from its terrace which is well equipped with garden furniture. Our room had a terrace with its own armchairs and table. The rooms are fairly basic but come with everything that you could reasonably ask. The bathroom had a nice shower with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The staff were pleasant and helpful. All in all, this is a great hotel within its category.

The hotel is very neglected and dirty, both the rooms and the yard are full of garbage. The food is not fresh and cats eat freely from the buffet. The hallways are painted and furnished in a depressing way. The showers are problematic and the smell in the rooms and yard is unpleasant. The hotel has tremendous potential - location, structure, view and nice corners, as well as a friendly staff, but due to the neglect and inefficiency, the place does not meet the standard of other Salina sites and is very unpleasant to stay at. Too bad!

Great rooms, really nice common area, staff is nice but not functioning. Place is dirty, very under maintenance, on breakfast the staff appeared very late, no common kitchen (they said they are building one but in the meantime we didn't even had a microwave). And the price was high for a dirty non functional place.

Felt like entering a very cool uncleaned boys apartment.
