Amazing location in the heart of Jerusalem. Walking distance from the old city and the wall, next to Mamila. Views from room and patio are breath taking

We were a group of fifteen staying Friday to Saturday. All the group were in rooms around a central area with comfortable seating and provisions for tea and coffee that was reserved for our use.
The rooms are large and comfortable. They may not be so new, but they were clearly built to last and are well maintained.
Friday night dinner was very good. Breakfast was a bit minimal, but nobody went hungry.

Great location, near old city / tower of david as well as shopping/dining city center. Basic breakfast, combined hotel/hostel, with 'feel' of a hostel.

What a wonderful wedding! We attend a most beautiful Simcha at this extraordinary location - the view of the hall overlooking the Old City of Jerusalem was just beautiful! It made the wedding ceremony so much moire meaningful!

The only good thing is the location near the old town.

Downsides are:
- hygiene below zero
- bathroom with mould
- stained bed sheets
- stained carpets inside and outside rooms
- breakfast is disgusting / dirty place
- music out loud at floor 1 where they have weddings and parties - from rooms on 2 floor you can hear the noise
- they don’t give water to customers - basic human needs. Fridge is empty in the rooms.
- They don’t clean the room from one day to another if you stay multiple days.
- the price is as a mid range hotel but this is far out that range.
- no parking

This is a review for their catering service at the 4th floor. They are professionals, they have one of the nicest places in Jerusalem, and the staff is helpful and friendly (thank you Tami :)
It is little pricy. But you get what you are paying for. Delicious food. Huge balcony with amazing view of the walls of the old city.
Recommendation: try to start the venue before the sunset. The view is gorgeous.
Overall: little pricy but definitely worth the price!

The complex includes a community space with an unobstructed view of the Jerusalem Old City walls and Jaffa Gate, classrooms, lecture halls and a theatre. We were at the theatre last night for a touring performance of Soul Doctor, a Broadway show. The theatre is small, comfortable and adequate for most shows. The performance was great and drew a standing ovation.

Great theater. The encore theater company often puts on shows in English here, check them out.
Street parking is an issue here, there is a paid parking lot nearby that isn't outrageous prices (where the dirt lot use to be for those that still remember it.)

This was a hostel when I stayed here years ago. My room had six beds. There was a private bath and shower. My patio looked across to the Jaffa Gate. Magnificent!!! Breakfast was superior and the gardens totally magnificent and peaceful. Have been to the new theater which is great.

The place is institutional and feels like you are in a dorm room or barracks. For example, there is exactly one available plug in a room that sleeps six. My room had a busted window that let cold air in and a heater that did not work in Winter. The reception goes home at 11 and there is no one to talk to after that. Basically, it is a half step up from homelredness. There are much better inexpensive options in Jerusalem.

Think about what you would like to know if you were looking for a review about a place to relax. Please describe in detail what you liked and what you didn't. What would you advise to other guests and to the hotel owner. The more fully you tell about the hotel, the easier it will be for other people to make a choice and they will be very grateful to you!
