Sergei Palace Hotel in Jerusalem

This gem accommodation is the perfect place for a stay in the city. It is well located, in walking distance from restaurants and the Old City. While the breakfast is not the huge Israeli breakfast offered in big hotels, it is more than adequate. Be sure to leave some time to enjoy the beautiful inside garden.

A beautiful hotel in a very good location, walking distance from both the old city ("The new gate" / Jaffa gate) and Mahane Yehuda market.

The staff was unbelievably friednly. One employee even went on to buy something thay we were missing.

A very nice hotel. I stayed there for one night and the staff was very friendly. Would highly recommend while staying in the Jerusalem area. The area looks to be a very Posh area, and therefore very safe. It is about 10 minutes walking distance from the old town Jerusalem wall which makes it very convenient when traveling and doing tourism in the old town Jerusalem. I would highly recommend this location for your stay.

the food is wonderful,they offer authentic Russian food and also international dishes.
The compound has a beautiful garden and its a very enjoyable experience overall.

Our family just stayed here for 5 nights in November. I have so many wonderful things to say! The staff was amazing. Very helpful, friendly and accommodating to us at all times. Yousef was just the sweetest, and we were SO glad to meet him.

The breakfast was amazing and my kids, and myself, tried many new things. The grounds were beautiful and lit up at night made it extra special. The room was very spacious and had everything we needed.

Next, the location. We loved being able to walk (we walked everywhere) right down to Jaffa St. and shop, dine, and access everything we needed.

The icing on the cake were the cats and kittens there. So friendly and made my girls feel right at home. I will recommend this hotel over and over, as we loved our stay here. Thank you for making us feel so welcome in Jerusalem. We will be back!

Beyond my expectations. Staff was accommodating, nice, efficient and proficient. They did extras like get our rooms ready early, offer my daughter sunglasses to borrow and lots of little kindnesses like that. Grounds are exquisite, restaurant is nice and shaded, rooms are big, breakfast is lovely. Steps away from restaurants and shops, easy walk to Mamilla and Jaffa Gate so in 30 minutes you can be at the wall. Amazing

I stayed in Room 117, it is a very big.room with very high ceilings, sufficient storage space in the room and a large bathroom. Wifi was good. Room was very clean, large and airy, with sunlight filtering in through the huge windows. The hotel has a nice quiet garden. We paid @555 nis / day and stayed for a total of 15 days. Originally the hotel was constructed by the Russian nobility, (connected to the Russian orthodox church) for use by the Russian nobility during their pilgrimage to Jerusalem. The huge building, the large rooms, grand architecture, with high ceilings, large doors and windows reflect the connection of this building with the Russian nobility. The road in front of the hotel was very clean and quiet with minimal traffic. Location of the hotel was just excellent. The Safra square, with plenty of shops, ATM's was just 3 minutes walking distance. The bus stop, was literally just 2 min walking distance while the old walled city ( with all its tourist attractions ) was only 10 minutes walking distance. The Light rail station, located at City Hall station, was just 8 minutes away and ensured excellent connectivity to all the usual tourist destinations. There is no need to opt for the costly hotel breakfast, best to buy supplies from the Safra market, literally next door, it works out to be far cheaper. The neighborhood is perfectly safe. Hotel staff speak multiple languages, including Hebrew, Arabic, English, Russian, Azerbaijani etc In short the perfect hotel, in a perfect location.
