Hotel Los Angeles in Assisi

Terrible hotel. I stayed here for three nights and it was a pitiful experience to say the least. Cleanliness was almost nonexistent, rooms weren't cleaned, and towels weren't changed, as the staff believed they weren't necessary every day. Huge chunks of dust were in the stairwells, the staff was rude and unwelcoming, and the hallways and bathrooms smelled incredibly foul. As for the rooms, we asked reception why they hadn't been cleaned, and they rudely replied that if we had left them in a "pitiful" state, they wouldn't have cleaned them. But I paid for all the amenities I need, so it seems like an excuse. It's also worth noting that it's their job and they should do it. The food is nothing special, not to mention awful. A bottle of sparkling water at the table costs €2. Are you kidding? It should be included, considering they pay quite a bit for it. The only positive note is that it's near the church of Santa Maria degli Angeli, but otherwise, that area is also awful. It doesn't seem normal to me to underestimate cleanliness and customer needs, I won't add anything else.
