I had stayed here three nights from Oct 23, 2025. This is an excellent place.

Spotless, comfortable, helpful staff, wifi speed excellent, just enough amenities. Wish there was hair conditioner included as well

First, high cost-performance next to Basilica S, Maria degli Angeli close to the station (within 15min-walk) clean room shower is perfect good breakfast

I was looking for a comfortable and safe place to stay while walking along the Via Lauretana, and what better place than the Domus Pacis Hotel in Santa Maria degli Angeli in Assisi? If one is looking for a healthy continental breakfast such as is now found in many hotels in Italy, this breakfast is probably not for you. It was strong on chocolate and sweet cakes but short on fresh salads. The hotel location is very good, on a bus route from the station. Hotel staff were excellent with advice on how to reach the old city and they sell the bus tickets.

Breakfast was interesting but not healthy. Parking was great. Bus service was right outside the door connecting to escalator in the old town. Bed was very hard and pillows were flat terrible sleep. Room was quiet.

We were excited for the theme of the hotel, and the breakfast in the mornings were incredible! Massive buffet with huge assortment of foods, many chocolate themed. Also lots of space for everyone to sit, not cramped at all. The decor in the rooms was fine, but a bit dated. We are delighted with our stay, the first impression is already great. Delicious and wonderful breakfast, well-kept hotel, clean and nice rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. You can leave your luggage before check-in. Good location, close to the mini metro. I hope to visit again someday.

The service and breakfast were both good. It was not too far from the station, so it was within walking distance. And they gave me welcome chocolates as a service, which was very impressive.

Nice central hotel Centrally located hotel with various quality rooms. The single room was modest with a tiny bathroom but nevertheless fine for a single night. The hotel is located very close to the historic part of Gubbio, so one can walk everywhere. It is very nicely decorated, the staff is friendly and the rooms are comfortable and very reasonably priced. A really perfect place to enjoy wonderful Gubbio !

Cozy room in the historic center of Gubbio. Excellent check-in with extremely helpful desk clerk. He directed me to the free parking area. Room had a door onto the rooftop terrace. Bed was hard. I recommend this hotel if you get a good price.

Great location! Room was clean and spacious with a small refrigerator. Very convenient to town. Take the train ride around town. Visit Assisi. If you love heights visit the Basilica of San'Ubaldo. The views are amazing!

Fabulous! Close to the train station and the car parking. Perfect if you need to go to the "Centro Selezione Esercito Italiano"

Very nice rooms, with an optimal bathroom, everything clean. Staff very helpful and speaks English, very polite and even nice! Right next to the historic centre, so you can walk everywhere. Offers free parking, albeit a bit weird to get there.

We chose this property mainly for its location to the train station. We used Foligno as a base to visit other locations, and the location is perfect. The breakfast is typical Italy- lots of cakes and pastries. No complaints - I’d recommend the hotel

Very easy parking, very close tobthe city centre

Very nice and affordable hotel in the heart of Foligno. The service is way above the number of stars that it has on the front door. We were treated with white gloves from the get go. Furthermore, we had a problem misplacing the electronic key very late at night and the concierge came all the way where we were having a dinner party to bring a spare… this is the kind of service that you don’t get anymore...

You can count on a restful and comfortable stay at La Terrazza after exploring Assisi or the surrounding region. The staff are always responsive and helpful. The breakfast had good choices. La Terrazza will be our choice to stay when we return here. 

Our stay at Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza was perfect for our 4 day visit to Assisi. The hotel is an easy 10-15 walk to town but there is also a bus stop at the hotel with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The accommodations were clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a busy day exploring Assisi. Would highly recommend Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza to anyone visiting Assisi

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was awesome! If you need to get into the town of Assisi, there is a bus stop less than 2 minutes from the hotel. If you want to just stay at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful view and their pool, you can do that too. If you're on a romantic trip, see if they have the spa available for the private session, it's worth it!

This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room. Amazing service and awesome beach!

Very nice and professional service. Room are not "new" as the hotel position is very good for Travellers and easy to reach by car, but still not the "best" for holiday trip.

A nice tranquil, family oriented hotel/restaurant located on a hillside, Torgiano Italy. Very clean rooms, but a little small, which is typical in southern/central Italy, and a pleasant and courteous staff. Their food is fresh, plentiful and very reasonably priced. I would definitely book another stay here if ever in this area of Italy again.

A wonderful place to relax with your family and small company. You can visit the lounge area with pool and jacuzzi. You can also go cycling in the surroundings.

Everything was ok but my room had a strong smell of cigar!

Room - Very small. Bed was comfortable. TV had a couple English channels. Bathroom - Came with shampoo, soap bars, and shower caps. Lots of lights and plug ins Breakfast - Not a great breakfast. We stayed at 5 hotels this Pilgrimage, this breakfast was the lowest.

We stayed here with a CostSaver tour and were placed in a 2 twin bed bedroom. The rooms were small (to be expected) and a little musty. This hotel has small rooms and a small bathroom but it really is all you need. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. There are small balconies for fresh air. Food from the restaurant was good and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room itself is really not big, with a nice French bed in the middle, a wardrobe with hangers, a small TV, a table, a chair and a bathroom. The small balcony is very nice and we used it not just for the view. We also used the air conditioner, which was important during such a hot time of the year. We spent five nights in Hotel Moderno. The best part was the people. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They gave us great advice on towns to visit and bus stop locations. We had a wonderful stay- everyone was very friendly, it was spotlessly clean, breakfast perfect. And conveniently just across the street from the train station and the bus into old town. Great place to stay in, near the station, great staff, newly renovated rooms, parking cross the street for free. The only thing missing is an elevator if you have a lot of luggage. Loved the experience.

Excellent location, great courtesy, spacious, clean, and fragrant rooms, top-quality toiletries. Breakfast was varied and delicious, with a strong focus on sweets. Definitely a recommended choice.

The house has a history of 1600 years. Italy is such a magical place. The room is very large and the ceilings are very high. It is very comfortable to live in. I will stay here again if I have the chance.

We booked this property based on the positive reviews. This historic residence dates back to the 14th century and is strategically located for visiting Assisi, Spello, and Rasiglia. This a fantastic 13th century former castle near the airport (5 mins) reasonably priced. The staff are fantastic and one has just said taxi's are too expensive and is going to take us to the airport. That is real excellent service

Hotel Umbra is super convenient and cozy! The location is perfect, right in the heart of everything, so you can explore easily. Rooms are clean, and comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful, always making you feel welcome. The breakfast is one thing that can be improved though.

Great location when visiting Assisi. Staff was great and breakfast was one I’d go back for seconds. Only downside was no AC and it was fairly warm for an October evening. So we had to sleep with the windows open which wasn’t the most quiet rest we got.

Nice spot just outside of the door leading to St Clares. Very friendly staff. Clean updated room. Great bathroom. Bed was comfortable. We did not have a view but I imagine the other side of the hall had a nice view. Not a big deal though since everything else was nice.

Great location in a beautiful town! Parking in Assisi in never easy however, the suggestion from the hotel owner to park in the deck at the bottom of the city was very helpful! There was a lift and escalator to assist in reaching the top. That was very helpful. It is run by a sister and brother who is super helpful. Our room is facing the little so it's a bit noisy depending who were screaming outside in the middle of the night. The breakfast was very good with freshly baked goods. Highly recommended.

The location was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. My only critiques would be that there was no a/c. A fan would have really helped. I opened my windows a little but there was a pigeon who sat outside my bathroom window at night so I couldn't open it very wide. Easy access to Assisi but located in the middle of fields (of sunflowers) made it a perfect location.The owners were in the process of some changes - they had just opened the beautiful pool and seemed to be preparing extra (much needed) parking space. The room was great! It had a clean bathroom, nice bed, and a gorgeous window that overlooks the town. The only downside is that the outside traffic (people and some cars) can be noisy, so I'd advise bringing earplugs.

The receptionist was so knowledgeable and kind, he showed us where to go in Assisi during the very limited time we had there. The room didn’t look exactly the same as the photos, but bathroom was very clean which we really liked. Expect a maze-like building and a bit of a walk to get to the 3rd floor using two different elevators. Breakfast was lovely.

The hotel, being a 3-star hotel, was very good and the breakfast too, but the location was excellent. They just need to explain the issue of parking and how to leave luggage better. You cannot park where the hotel is located and you have to leave the car in a parking lot that is a 15-minute walk away with ups and downs and the issue of luggage is complicated.

The hotel shower rooms were small and had poor drainage.
