My experience at this hotel was simply perfect. From the moment I checked in, I was greeted by incredibly friendly and professional staff. The room was impeccable: spacious, bright, and tastefully decorated. The cleanliness was excellent, and the incredibly comfortable bed ensured a restful sleep after a busy day. AAA+++ recommended

We arrived at night, and in the room, only the entrance light switched on automatically. The floor and desk lamps were unplugged and had to be plugged in the dark before switching on. A nice enough hotel that puts it's guest on the eastern extreme of the historic city, but still well within easy walking distance of all you'd want to see in this beautiful city.

First, high cost-performance next to Basilica S, Maria degli Angeli close to the station (within 15min-walk) clean room shower is perfect good breakfast

Great stay Our second 14 nights stay. We had deluxe room. It is spacious, excellent bed and big flat-tv. Everything is so easy and relax in this hotel. The only wish is that the breakfast would be better. The proberty is large and beautiful. You can easily make a long walk in the hotel area. Coming again.

It's a beautiful property overall

The NUN is an amazing place. Fantastic, friendly and personal staff made the time so enjoyable. A beautiful spa area was very unique. Walkable to center of Assisi but in a quiet corner of town.

Room was clean. Staff were nice and friendly. The location is about 2 miles away from center of Assisi. Need to buy a couple of €1.3 tickets good for 80 minutes; to go in Assisi and back to hotel daily .

Quick check-in as we arrived after 8 pm. Kiara went above and beyond for me when I asked for ice (which is a luxury in Italy). The room was a nice size and very clean. Breakfast was awesome and included an omelette station. Overall, it has been the nicest hotel we have stayed at over the last week in Italy. Highly recommend.

Beautiful hotel. Stay here every year. But breakfast is getting worse every year. Imagine you have to ask for coffee. They don’t have a machine that you can use how much you want

It's a nice gallery hotel. It's bigger than it looks from the outside. The room arrangements or the building layout is confusing esp for the elderly. We were lucky to have a room that has a balcony that's facing the street. They serve good food! Plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to eat out. The Basilica de Santa Maria degli Angeli is a 3- minute walk.

Friendly people at the front desk. Excellent location and hotel. There was a light hanging down from the ceiling in our bathroom, but that was fixed fairly quickly. Breakfast was lovely.

This is a fabulous family run hotel a little way away from Assisi. The restaurant is very good. All the team are wonderful people who go out of their way to help. The hotel is in the main (mostly pedestrian) street of Santa Maria degli Angeli - surrounded by restaurants/bars and a stone’s throw from the Basilica. A great base to visit the region by car, but you can use trains and buses as well.

Very nice location in the center, but the room was very small, with a small heater. For a 4-star hotel and the price paid, it was quite inadequate. Good breakfast.

The room was cold and tried to put heating on did’t work, i went to reception and then they said they’ll turn on electric heater, but not much difference it did’t really warm much, was making fore AC. A one night stay. One of us was allocated a basic room with very old bathroom and shower and the other with a much better appointed room. The hotel is clearly very old and has lots of history. Overall a good stay.

An interesting former palace with spectacular views over the Umbrian countryside. The hotel was perfectly located on one of the main historic roads yet was quiet. Very easy walkable access to all major sites. The buffet breakfast was excellent with fresh honeycomb, delicious cheeses, fresh fruit and cake and the usual hot options.We highly recommend and would stay again.

Ideal location, halfway between Basilica San Franceso and Chiesa Santa Chiara. Everything in Assisi was within short walking distance. Crucially, the hotel had 10 parking spots directly in front, which allows entrance into the ZTL (otherwise forbidden). Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Booked the "family room," which was huge and had a great view. Great value.

You can count on a restful and comfortable stay at La Terrazza after exploring Assisi or the surrounding region. The staff are always responsive and helpful. The breakfast had good choices. La Terrazza will be our choice to stay when we return here. 

Our stay at Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza was perfect for our 4 day visit to Assisi. The hotel is an easy 10-15 walk to town but there is also a bus stop at the hotel with a bus leaving every 30 minutes. The accommodations were clean and modern. We especially enjoyed the pool in the afternoon after a busy day exploring Assisi. Would highly recommend Hotel Ristorante La Terrazza to anyone visiting Assisi

Stayed here on our honeymoon and it was awesome! If you need to get into the town of Assisi, there is a bus stop less than 2 minutes from the hotel. If you want to just stay at the hotel, enjoy the beautiful view and their pool, you can do that too. If you're on a romantic trip, see if they have the spa available for the private session, it's worth it!

This is our second vacation here at La Terazza in Assisi. This time, our visit coincided with World Youth Day. There was singing and dancing within the walls of Assisi. It was wonderful. Then, we could come back to LaTerrazza for a wonderful swim with fantastic views and peace. The Hotel is very new and a perfect mix of old stone and crisp clean white walls and newly remodeled room. Perfect location! We loved this hotel, the staffs are super friendly and nice-restaurants, front desk and the bar! We were upgraded to a big and best view with balcony and was given complimentary bar drink-thank you! Definitely will stay here again!

The breakfast was amazing! Lots of bread and cheese to try. The waffle was soft and fluffy. Fruits - both fresh and candied. Coffee maker was neat- good cappuccino and latte! The room has amazing view. We had a wonderful stay.

The room was small but very clean. An issue we had with the bed was quickly taken care of. The breakfast and whole atmosphere in this beautiful setting was wonderful. We would stay here again!

This is a charming old fashioned hotel founded in 1907, right at the bottom of the hill into town. Lovely continental breakfast, comfortable room with a balcony overlooking the basilica. Be warned the restaurant only opens if there are lots of people staying. Assisi is magical

Beautiful hotel! Beautiful people working there. The room and location was amazing. Only complaint the pillows were very hard, all of them!! AC wasn’t quite as cold as we are used to but very nice and comfortable. Area was super close to the Basilica of Saint Francis with an amazing view. Would definitely stay again.

I Loved this hotel! The view is absolutely amazing and the location cannot be beat. The breakfast and dinner that we had was also amazing! The rooms were not the best and the beds were somewhat hard and uncomfortable but the view from the windows made up for it!

Perfect location for visiting Assisi with excellent access to train station. Rooms comfortable, spacious and very clean and inviting. My room 206 with partial view of Assisi from my window. Great location when visiting Assisi. Staff was great and breakfast was one I’d go back for seconds. Only downside was no AC and it was fairly warm for an October evening. So we had to sleep with the windows open which wasn’t the most quiet rest we got.

Nice spot just outside of the door leading to St Clares. Very friendly staff. Clean updated room. Great bathroom. Bed was comfortable. We did not have a view but I imagine the other side of the hall had a nice view. Not a big deal though since everything else was nice.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Room normal to small size, very clean and comfortable. Hosts amazing - it is more like B&B. Huge breakfast. And good parking. If you have a car - that’s your option. Driving to the city center takes 7 minutes (to payed parking)

A farmhouse renovated down to the smallest detail, located just minutes from the center. Truly comfortable, the restaurant offers excellent dishes and top-quality wines. The staff is truly courteous and professional, and the owners are top-notch.

Locanda Giustini was a great two night stop on our tour through Italy. This place has very comfortable lodging and delicious meals. The service was even better. We talked with the owners and were given a short tour of the historic building and an explanation of how they came to be there. Wonderful small hotel within walking distance to St. Mary of Angels and a short ride to Assisi.

Overall, we definitely had a good time, two unpretentious nights. The cleanliness could have been better; we quickly threw away the table runner because it was dirty. Overall, though (perhaps because we were tired), we slept well. The room was quiet and well-lit. The price was fair (it couldn't have been better, perhaps even a little less for a small double room).

Hotel caters for one night coach tours. Who leave early so get up earlier. No sound proofing between rooms and we could hear every word spoken plus their phone alarm woke us up at 6am!!! Typical dated decor. Dark wood furniture damask bedspreads and plates on walls!! Breakfast was unimaginative, fruit hard and unripe and basic plus they were continually setting up for the coach tour lunches clattering...

we liked the property of this hotel. we felt that we were in a country side. we couldn't lower the air conditioning as it was 24 degres. we are used to have it at 20 degres.

The hotel was easy to find and only a short way from the walled city of Assisi, where parking is available so you can walk around easily. Location is great: close to Assisi and to Santa Maria degli Angeli. The rooms are simple but comfortable. But what I loved the most is how friendly, accommodating and flexible the hosts are. I had a great stay.

What a place to find by chance! We had a superb meal, as well prepared as if this had been a home and presented with friendly care. We felt very much at home and will certainly return if we have the occasion. P.S the selection of Umbrian cheeses and fantastic home made preserves is highly recommended.

Amazing views we stayed in the building with the patios because we like to have outdoor space to relax we had the end unit which is really nice and more private with an incredible view. This hotel has small rooms and a small bathroom but it really is all you need. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. There are small balconies for fresh air. Food from the restaurant was good and plentiful. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

The room itself is really not big, with a nice French bed in the middle, a wardrobe with hangers, a small TV, a table, a chair and a bathroom. The small balcony is very nice and we used it not just for the view. We also used the air conditioner, which was important during such a hot time of the year. …I'll start by saying that I've seen this building in Assisi!!…only from the outside!!…currently it can't be visited inside!!…it's the Loggia dei Maestri Comacini!!…it's located on the main street of the city!!…in Via San Francesco!!…in the historic center!!…and it's easily recognizable because it has a typical medieval façade!!…and then you can see the marble slab with their name!!…as in my photo...

I only saw the exterior of the building, which is very interesting because it's visibly original. I also understood where the term "lodge" comes from for Masonic lodges, an institution derived from medieval master architects, as all the symbolism demonstrates.

A little gem, very clean, very well equipped (nothing is missing, impressive) practically at the gates of the Basilica, to this is added the kindness of the owner, the availability, the courtesy and the tact.

Small but has everything. Mr. Ferdinando was very kind and provided us with water and prosecco, which were very welcome. We had a great time.
