Agriturismo il Castello in Assisi

My husband and I spent a few nights here to be able to visit Umbria. It is a beautiful place for those who love nature and tranquility as well as excellent food.

The room was very clean and welcoming.
I absolutely recommend having at least one dinner to taste their delicious products!

Mrs. Patrizia and her mother Nunzia are exquisite people, perfect hosts who make you feel truly at 'home'.
The farm is beautiful, the apartment where we stayed large, warm and clean. Genuine and tasty dinner and breakfast, with typical Umbrian delights. A stone's throw from Assisi.

We stayed 5 days in Umbria, we always stayed half board at the Castle. The only 2 defects, of which I will speak to you immediately, are more than compensated by the countless advantages and certainly would not prevent us from returning but it is always better to know things to decide freely: the access road is not the best (a bit bumpy) but we have seen far worse ones in the vicinity; in our room there was no shower tray (curtain with floor drain) but it was absolutely not a problem. The merits: you eat really well, I'm a vegetarian and Mrs. Patrizia has always dedicated me delicious dishes, a well-stocked buffet breakfast that includes various cakes and biscuits made by them, dinner with first, second and side dishes that are always different every evening, portions abundant with the possibility of encores, dishes created by them with their products (which you can buy before returning and online), drinks excluded but at more than honest prices, always punctual even in keeping the mask in the presence of customers, comfortable rooms with climate and TV and always cleaned daily, quiet place in the middle of the green and far from the chaos, presence of animals (dogs, cat, sheep, donkeys, turtle, chickens) that have cheered our stay with their company, the family that manages has the ability to make you feel at home, always kind and helpful, space to park your car, are located 5 minutes from the beautiful city of Assisi and from here you can easily reach buo na part of the region. It was our first time in Umbria and we really enjoyed it. Well done

Spotless rooms. Comfortable bathroom. Excellent, genuine and local food. Basically it's like eating at the farmer's house. Interested animals for children. One flaw: games for careless children. Yet they are present in the pine forest and are discreet. Perhaps they are not much in demand because the farm is used a lot as a base for visiting Umbria and little for staying there. Overall recommended. Good value for money.
