Hotel Valle di Assisi Spa & Golf in Assisi

Beautiful hotel, grounds & rooms. Breakfast was excellent & WiFi was good. Unsure about staff’s statement that a/c climate control was disabled due Italian laws.

Lovely. Never could make towel warmer work. Please provide instructions in the room. Everything else was convenient and comfortable.

Great stay
Our second 14 nights stay. We had deluxe room. It is spacious, excellent bed and big flat-tv. Everything is so easy and relax in this hotel. The only wish is that the breakfast would be better. The proberty is large and beautiful. You can easily make a long walk in the hotel area. Coming again.

A lovely upscale and comfortable hotel. Our room was excellent. Modern decor and great bed, linens, and amenities. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of hot and cold options. Even a juicer with fruits and vegetables available. We had a delicious dinner one night. The wait staff attentive and pleasant. The best thing was the view of Assisi. Absolutely breathtaking. We did not take advantage of the spa or pool. Only because our stay was short.

The hotel was as described, good rooms , plenty of space and a very nice bathroom , the hotel staff were very nice , nothing seemed to be a problem.
The pool area was really nice , the big swimming pool looking onto Assisi was wonderful.
The bar are was small and functional with plenty of choices for drinks. The spa which myself and wife used was perfectly adequate ( both had back massages, while we have both had better these were good).
All in all the hotel was perfectly adequate for visiting Assisi.

There is a new restaurant 5 minutes by car away , Cantonese style , it’s called “ Moon “ give it a try , 5 stars .

The negatives on the hotel - we took a taxi to Assisi for dinner , four of us and it was about 4/5 km , maybe about 10 minutes in the taxi this was 70 euro return , this is the price now which I thought too expensive.

The hotel also claims to be a “ golf resort “ I use this very liberally because it’s not . The girl at the desk unfortunately did “ not have a clue about golf “ , her words not mine . This is pretty strange as it claims to have a golf course.

It has a driving range and a nine hole pitch and putt course.
Let me be frank if you play or have played golf do not use these facilities. In fact if you fancy playing golf please don’t .

The fairways are indescribable to say the least. This will set you back 25 euros and 15 euros for the clubs - I advised the hotel this should not be offered free. The driving range is a disgrace , it was once covered there is now no shade , there are no golf Tees built into the dilapidated Astro turf . The tokens are supposed to get you between 20 and 30 balls , very random . We got 17 with the 1st and only token . This will set you back 5 euros per person to step onto the range ( 1st time I’ve ever had to pay to attend a driving range ) the cost of each token is 2 euros for a random amount of golf balls that should have been put in the bin may years ago . Again the cost of the golf clubs are 15 euros for the hire. Let me say this the golf clubs should be sent to the scrap yard or recycle centre I’ve not seen worse , if they were ever cleaned it must have been years ago. My 1st ball with the 3 wood and the club head flew off the club on the back swing , missed my daughter’s head by inches , I don’t think I need to say more. I told this all to the hotel and was honest and forthright. The hotel is good the golf is a disgrace. The garden area and surrounding path ways could be more managed, a little work needs done with the gardening side of things . The hotel will suit your needs if you just need a base for Assisi and are prepared to drive into the town .

The property is in a lovely location, as long as you have transport. Our only complaint was being in the ground floor there was significant noise from the lobby which kept us awake. The outdoor pool was a little chilly and the indoor pool incurred a significant supplement. Breakfast was nice.

Beautiful structure but not accessible by wheelchair

Great place. The rooms were a nice size and the Beverly comfortable. The room and bathroom were nicely appointed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would go there again.
