We had a wonderful stay at Portica 10. The hosts are just lovely, kind and welcoming. The facilities are well kept, clean, organized and cozy. They had the place decorated for the holidays and it was beautiful. The location was perfect and we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go to in the town of Assisi.

Rooms was spotless. Breakfast was perfect. Owners were awesome and so accommodating.

Location,location! The hotel is very close to all sights. Carmine and his wife run this hotel and take great care and pride in its upkeep. Breakfast is delicious with Carmine's wife making the daily bread. The hotel is modern and new within ancient travertine construction. We loved our stay here.

A place tucked away from the center of Assisi. The sign makes it unclear whether it's a hotel, a B&B, or a boutique hotel. The building hasn't been modernized, with a late 1960s/early 1970s style. The rooms are small and cramped. The breakfast is decent. The price is fair considering the structure.

We stayed at this delightful family run hotel in October. The location is fantastic- easy to access and within walking distance of squares, cathedrals, shops, restaurants and markets. There is a lovely terrace on the top floor that overlooks the valley. Our room’s high ceiling and direct access to the terrace created a light filled and spacious room that was sparkling clean. Very nice little hotel. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy. The views from the 3rd floor balcony are very good and plus there is a friendly cat who lives in the hotel and is open to petting. The towels leave a little more to be desired, as they are very thin and are very utilitarian. But I guess maybe one should go to a hotel with more stars if they would like softer towels. Hotel Belvedere in Assisi is a great place to stay while you're visiting the historic town. It's central to all the important sites and St Francis Basilica. The rooms are clean and spacious. Hotel Belvedere was a wonderful experience. Beautiful. Authentic. The wireless works well. The beautiful marble - stone walls and the best part. The Host - Enrico - and his family are so terrific. Wonderful host and the staff made us feel so incredibly welcome. And since I don’t speak Italian....this local Google guide was SO HAPPY that the English here was spoken so perfectly.

It's fine for a one-night stay. The room was clean and quiet, the spa worked well, and the sauna and hammam were very hot. The grounds are well-maintained. Breakfast could be improved (they didn't have eggs, and the soy cappuccino was undrinkable). The kitchenettes are uncomfortable. The property feels a bit dated.

My wife and I stayed for a couple, with a room and breakfast, and one hour of exclusive access to the spa (heated whirlpool, Turkish bath, and sauna). The property is a stunning villa nestled in the countryside; we loved it; it was quiet and relaxing. The extremely friendly staff made us feel completely at ease, providing us with all the information we needed. Highly recommended for those seeking tranquility

The five stars are for the location which is enchanting and above all immersed in nature and tranquility. The rooms of different styles and genres are particular but the bathrooms would need to be reviewed from a functionality point of view. Overall it is a good establishment.

The country house is set in such a peaceful ambience surrounded by mountains but minutes from centre of Assisi. The hosts were simply amazing and the breakfast they prepared was delicious. We were made to feel extremely welcome.

The room was big and really clean. The shower had great water pressure. The staff (manger and clerk) were accommodating and suggested good places to eat. I would definitely stay there again.

A welcoming B&B located in a farmhouse not far from the city, nestled in the peaceful countryside and boasting spectacular views of the Umbrian valley. The town center is a 10-minute walk away (uphill), which is the best option on holidays, given the difficulty in parking (even paid parking lots fill up quickly during holidays). Recommended for those visiting Assisi and the surrounding towns.

Impeccably clean, unlike anything I've ever seen. Quiet location amidst the Assisi hills. Breakfast features packaged items, but still an excellent selection. There's no savory option. The lady's organization regarding payment and check-in was greatly appreciated, especially if you arrive late and leave early.

Immersed in a quiet area but yet at a walking distance from Assisi centre, this B&B surely is the perfect option of combining a nice relaxing holiday and at the same time explore the surrounding villages. Great location, good condition of the property, the only big problem that you can not travel with big luggage, the B&B got a narrow and spiral staircase which make difficult to go up and down with large luggage. We saw the reviews when we booked, turned up early in our little hire car and were not disappointed. As we were over an hour early we just sat on the terrace gazing in awe. We live between the edge of the cotswolds and the royal forest of Dean, so are spoilt with great scenery on our doorstep, and la terrazza Di subasio didn't come in second. We only stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Assisi town. The B&B is located about 10 min drive to town. The unit had a kitchen, 2 bedroom and 1 toilet. No air conditioning. No restaurant on site and no restaurant nearby, you need to drive to town. The swimming pool is small but functional, and is located at the bottom of the hill, there are also cute chickens walking around.

We have just returned from la terrazza. We had just the most perfect week there. The views are stunning, we live on the edge of the cotswolds and the royal forest of Dean, so quite used to lovely countryside, and la terrazza didn't come in second. It is so quiet, just beautiful. The host family are wonderful, so friendly, and Marisa's baked offerings just top off a perfect stay. Fantastic base to explore...

I could not rate our experience any higher or I would. We visited for 4 days in June, 2016. Julio, the owner is a perfect host and a kind and gracious person. Because it’s in the historic center of Assisi, parking is a few minutes away by car. There is a covered lot for €14 for 24 hours and a free public lot a little further away. Check in is easy and the rooms are basic but comfortable. Great for a short stay.

I can't imagine a better place to stay in Assisi. A lovely traditional villa and wonderful retreat from the crowds, even though it's right in the middle of the town! I saw that my review was responded to, but I can't view it and respond back. I confirm that my husband is 182 cm tall and had his feet outside the mattress. As for the shower mixer, I tried several times to stabilize the temperature at maximum heat, but it kept fluctuating back to cold.
