Good view

We saw the reviews when we booked, turned up early in our little hire car and were not disappointed. As we were over an hour early we just sat on the terrace gazing in awe. We live between the edge of the cotswolds and the royal forest of Dean, so are spoilt with great scenery on our doorstep, and la terrazza Di subasio didn't come in second. Our room was perfect for us, comfortable and very clean. The jewel in the crown of la terrazza is the host family, Marisa is so welcoming, and her very limited English coupled with my very limited Italian soon got us settled. Fear not as Maria's children are fluent in English and visit you to explain and help with anything. We felt at home straight away. With Maria's fabulous cakes and tarts sublime views, friendly cats we needed little else. It's a great base to discover asissi and the surrounding area. Would recommend and would not be surprised if we returned.

We only stayed for 2 nights as we wanted to visit Assisi town. The B&B is located about 10 min drive to town.
The unit had a kitchen, 2 bedroom and 1 toilet.
No air conditioning.
No restaurant on site and no restaurant nearby, you need to drive to town.
The swimming pool is small but functional, and is located at the bottom of the hill, there are also cute chickens walking around.

The owners of this bnb are incredibly friendly, the grandmother who checked us in did not speak english which made things a little difficult but we got it figured out (her daughter speaks english but was not present at our time of check in). This is a a side house to a families house with little kids who were cute but certainly running around outside often. This bnb is not walkable from the city center but the family provided the phone number of their son who is a taxi driver and we were able to call for him to pick us up or take us from the bnb whenever needed. Breakfast was light and a additional 3 euro per person per nigh but personally I thought it was worth it to have snacks in the room. Payment at the end of the stay is cash only so be prepared for that in advance. The pool was very nice and had a beautiful view of the country side. House did not have air conditioning so it was warm, and the wifi did not reach into our bedroom so we did work from the outdoor seating in front of the main house. Slightly inconvenient but gave us another excuse to look at the beautiful view. Overall a very positive experience, the family was helpful and accommodating when we locked ourselves out. Definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a natural beautiful place to stay in the outer city.

We stayed at the Terrazza for one week at the apartment Maddalena, with our family and my father. A true paradise! The apartment was very pretty, comfortable for the five of us, and with a spectacular view from the kitchen. Sig. Marisa, Sig. Marcello and Sig. Marina were are all wonderful, warm hosts, who made us feel truly at home. Sig. Marisa kept surprising us with her crostata, hand picked cherries, eggs and the wine they made! On top of all of this we truly enjoyed their patio (can't get a better view that that!) and swimming pool. All in all a wonderful human experience, in the peace of the countryside, with the silence, the star filled sky and the daily firefly show!

A wonderful mystical place. If you want to know the real one Italy, settle here. Hospitality hosts, images of nature, olive gardens, peace of mind. Its great to travel to Assisi, Perugia and other Umbria towns. Comfortable stay for family wit children. We hope come back in future.

The abundant and delicious breakfast, but above all the cake and traditional homemade biscuits of Assisi 🍪. I want to add a special thank you for Mrs. Marina's availability ❤️

Lovely place, very quiet, super view! Very close to Assisi (10 minutes) and less than half an hour from Perugia.
Very kind and welcoming staff, informal environment but nothing is really missing!

The apartment is well laid out and fresh despite the absence of air conditioning; to review cleaning.
Convenient location of the property with an enchanting view.
Small but pleasant swimming pool overlooking the Umbrian hills.
