We stayed at this delightful family run hotel in October. The location is fantastic- easy to access and within walking distance of squares, cathedrals, shops, restaurants and markets. There is a lovely terrace on the top floor that overlooks the valley. Our room’s high ceiling and direct access to the terrace created a light filled and spacious room that was sparkling clean. Breakfast is available and offers something for everyone in a pretty breakfast room. The hotel manager Enrico is as helpful, interesting, knowledgeable, and kind as one could hope for. Thank you Enrico and your family for providing us with a memorable stay in Assisi.

Very nice little hotel. It makes me feel like I'm in Italy. The views from the 3rd floor balcony are very good and plus there is a friendly cat who lives in the hotel and is open to petting.
The towels leave a little more to be desired, as they are very thin and are very utilitarian. But I guess maybe one should go to a hotel with more stars if they would like softer towels. The breakfast was decent - I was glad that they served orange juice, among other things.
The keys to the rooms are full-on victorian style keys which was fun.

Hotel Belvedere was a wonderful experience. Beautiful. Authentic. The wireless works well. The beautiful marble - stone walls and the best part. The Host - Enrico - and his family are so terrific. Wonderful host and the staff made us feel so incredibly welcome. And since I don’t speak Italian....this local Google guide was SO HAPPY that the English here was spoken so perfectly.

Lovely place, warm and friendly atmosphere. Nice, clean and spacious rooms and a most beautiful view from your window overlooking the slopes with olive trees and the green hills to the west.

Which is first? The fantastic vista view outside Hotel Belvedere? It's enchanting hotel/room/accommodations? Warm welcome and wonderful proprietor? Not only these but one of the best ways yo enter into one of the most "magical," but profoundly spiritual centers of Faith and humanity.

Hotel Belvedere in Assisi is a great place to stay while you're visiting the historic town. It's central to all the important sites and St Francis Basilica. The rooms are clean and spacious. Several have lovely balconies with a view of the valley (look at the pictures on the web site and ask for the one you like). The manager, Enrico, is very friendly and helpful, speaks perfect English, and is always available. The rooms are very comfortable and quiet at night. On our next visit to Assisi we'll be staying at this lovely hotel.
